PRÉSENTATION
L’ESA est une Grande École de management dédiée à la
formation des cadres et dirigeants du Liban et du Moyen-Orient.
Elle est gérée par la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie
Régionale de Paris Île-de-France (CCIR).
Devenue un véritable pôle de rayonnement académique pour le
Liban, l’ESA est une plate-forme d’échanges et de rencontres
entre l’Europe, le Moyen-Orient et le Liban.
Sa mission est de former les élites du Liban et de la région à
devenir les leaders de demain.

DES CURSUS ÉTUDIÉS POUR

MARCHÉ RÉGIONAL
Le Master en Management - Programme Grande École
est destiné aux étudiants de niveau bac+3 (Bachelor). Les
candidats ont le choix entre deux parcours (Liban ou France).
Ce programme en 2 ans (M1 et M2) permet de se préparer
à exercer de fortes responsabilités dans un environnement
économique mondialisé, en perpétuelle mutation.
Le Master in Business Administration (MBA) est un programme
international en management pour des jeunes professionnels
(minimum 3 ans d’expérience). Il apporte une vision concrète
du monde de l’entreprise et de solides connaissances en
management de l’entreprise.
L’Executive MBA est une formation à temps partiel, de très haut
niveau, destinée aux cadres et dirigeants ayant au minimum 5
ans d’expérience managériale.
Dispensée intégralement en anglais, adaptée à des emplois
du temps particuliers, avec ses 4 séminaires internationaux
(Turquie, Europe, États-Unis, Chine ou Inde), cette formation
permet aux auditeurs de mettre en pratique leur leadership afin
de faire face aux problématiques de l’entreprise d’aujourd’hui.

Le Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) est un parcours
de recherche de haut niveau encadré par des professeurschercheurs internationaux. Il s’adresse à des cadres et
dirigeants d’entreprise voulant contribuer au développement
des théories et pratiques managériales. Ce programme est
rattaché au Centre de Recherche, d’Étude et de Développement
(CRED) de l’ESA en partenariat avec l’Université Paris I
Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Les trois Mastères de Spécialisation sont des programmes à
temps partiel adaptés aux contraintes de professionnels en
activité permettant un approfondissement des connaissances
dans des domaines spécifiques :
• Executive Masters in Financial Management, formation
de 16 mois, en partenariat avec Rotterdam School of
Management, intégralement dispensée en anglais.
• Mastère de Spécialisation en Marketing et Communication,
formation de 18 mois, en partenariat avec ESCP Europe,
qui permet une maîtrise approfondie des concepts de
marketing.
• Master en Management de l’Hôpital et de la Santé, formation
en 14 mois, axée sur la formation aux grands enjeux du
management de la santé pour tous les professionnels des
hôpitaux et établissements de soins en partenariat avec
l’EHESP (École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique) et
l’Université Paris-Diderot.

Certified Professional in Sales Management
ESA, in collaboration with WIN Sales & Marketing Programs,
offers the Certified Professional in Sales Management (CPSM)
program which builds a high performance sales culture and
develops comprehensive processes to pursue and seize sales
opportunities. This program is designed to give sales managers
and supervisors the tools needed while improving their skills
in key areas of sales management (sales strategies, talent
management, sales forecasting, leadership, performance
evaluation, closing deals, etc.).
Project Management Fundamentals (PMF)
The Project Management Fundamentals (PMF) training
program, in partnership with Align Management Solutions,
gives project managers the opportunity to acquire the tools and
competencies needed to create and manage end-to-end project
delivery. The PMF also gives them sufficient contact hours,
thus paving the way for them to apply for the PMP certification
through an extra preparatory and mentoring session: in-class
extra exercises, presentation of the PMP exam application form
and the testing process, development of an individual study
plan for each participant, extra supporting tools, and simulation
tests.
Luxury Management Program
The luxury industry in Lebanon and the Middle East is becoming
one of the most challenging sectors in the regional economy.

ESA Thomson Reuters Certificate in Financial Markets
This 12-week educational program in the financial markets is
designed from a practical perspective so professionals involved
in the markets can get hands-on training and knowledge that
increases their level of education and awareness and reduces
their emotions so they can base investment decisions on sound
fundamental principles.
WORKSHOPS CATALOGUE
ESA Executive Education offers a selection of annual
open enrollment workshops that address the most recent
requirements in business and management. Seminars are led
by international experts. ESA’s consultants continually update
the offerings by engaging in brainstorming sessions and focus

BANKING AND FINANCE
QUALIFICATIONS
Banking and Finance Qualifications (BFQ)
ESA is a privileged partner of major healthcare players in
Lebanon: Ministry of Public Health, Syndicate of Hospitals,
Syndicate of Biologists, pharmaceutical companies, Orders of
Physicians, Order of Pharmacists etc.
Most countries with advanced regulatory regimes have set
standards and conditions for practitioners in the banking and
financial sectors through a qualification system.
In line with its strategy to promote and regulate the Lebanese
banking and financial sectors, The Central Bank of Lebanon
issued on the 9th of March 2006, Circular 103 (amended by
intermediate Circulars 202, 245 and 339). This adopted a system
of controlled functions for banking and finance practitioners. The
Circular identifies a series of qualifications (Banking and Finance
Qualifications) that must be passed by these practitioners based
on their work functions.
In 2005, ESA was entrusted with a mission related to the
accreditation process of the Lebanese hospitals following a
partnership signed between the Lebanese Ministry of Public
Health and the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) in France – a
public authority that contributes to unity in the health system
and the improvement of the quality of care .

The Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) is a joint initiative between
ESA Business School and the Chartered Institute for Securities &
Investment (CISI) in London to develop a world-class qualification
in Islamic Finance. The IFQ is a ground-breaking qualification
that covers Islamic finance from both a technical and Sharia’a
perspective, providing the first international benchmark in
this field. It provides candidates with an understanding of the
influence of Sharia’a in a business context and prepares them
to hold key positions in the Islamic finance and Takaful (Islamic
insurance) industries.

History
In 1963, the late Jean Chidiac had a vision to bring quality
insurance services to Lebanon. He founded SNA, and so
began a journey has been lasting for nearly 50 years. Even
during the turbulent times of the Lebanese civil war in the
70’s and 80’s SNA persevered, even working in the basement
of the company, to maintain an image of trust, reliability, and
credibility. It continued to pay dividends to its shareholders
throughout the war, and has indeed rewarded its shareholders
with dividends every year without fail. In 1998, its success was
further consolidated when Assurances Generales de France
acquired a 30% stake in SNA Lebanon. When AGF itself became
a member of the Allianz Group, Allianz moved to increase its
share of the company to 70% in 2006, before finally acquiring
100% of SNA’s total shares on the market.
