I always knew I wanted to be a singer. Alors, le verbe perd sa conj ugaison et revient à l'infinitif. ex: I wanted to repeat myself. pour mettre au négatif, je rajoute NOT: => I not wanted to repeat myself pas d'auxiliaire dans la phrase, donc je fais appel à DO: => I do not wanted to repeat myself. DO absorbe la conjugaison du verbe et passe au preterit; le verbe revient dont à l'infinitif: => I did not want to repeat myself. On peut aussi contracter: I d idn't want to repeat myself. => How you met Jay Z? How do you met Jay Z? DO absorbe la conjugaison du verbe et passe au preterit; le verbe revient dont à l'infinitif: => How d id you meet Jay Z? Homework 5) How do you pronou nce these regular preterits ? T: hoped, liked, worked, talked, asked, reached, looked D: changed, tried, arrived, moved, died , lived ID: started, wanted Homework 6) Tr anslate . Use the preterit. z- Pourquoi se sont- ils disputés*? => Why did they have a fight? a- Hier, ils ont visité le British Museum. => Yes terday, they visited the British Museum. b- La semaine dernière, j' ai oublié d'arroser les plantes*. Si DO vient dans la phrase, il vole la conjugaison du verbe: ex: She doesn't plays the piano everyday. // Why does he likes music ? 2) Le présent BE + V - ing - Pour parler de ce qu'on est en train de faire , ou d'un futur planifié, organisé - Pour conjuguer, on accorde BE avec le sujet, puis on met le verbe+ing ex: She is playing the piano.
