Ridge Vineyards
The excellent reputation of Ridge was established by the Monte Bello’s unprecedented
success in the 1976 Judgement of Paris tasting. Since then, head winemaker Paul Draper
has built on this reputation with the development of Geyserville and Lytton Springs.
Both are among the very finest wines made from Zinfandel. The estate also produces
excellent white wines from Chardonnay that are unashamedly American in style.

Sesti, Castello di Argiano
Since planting their own vines in 1991 at the 13th century Castello di Argiano on the
Southern slopes of Montalcino and in a short period of time, the Sesti family has been
widely acknowledged as producing some of the finest wines of the Montalcino region.
The Monteleccio is a shorter barrel aged Sangiovese, with sumptuous fresh fruit and a
good introduction to the style of the estate’s wines.

Palacios Family
The Palacios family is probably the most prolific wine-making dynasty in the whole of
Spain. Here we stock wines from Alvaro Palacios’s Bierzo & Priorat estates, his younger
brother Rafael’s Valdeorras estate and also the family winery Palacios Remondo, which is
also now run by Alvaro. This selection of fantastic wines shows not only the diverse range
of wines that modern Spain has to offer but also why Alvaro Palacios was named
‘Decanter Man of the Year’ for 2015.

Château Cos d’Estournel
Château Cos d’Estournel is one of only two Second Growths in Saint-Estèphe and we
believe the finer of the two. The property lies adjacent to that of Château Lafite-Rothschild
in the neighbouring Pauillac. This is reflected in the Château being considered a member of
the ‘Super Second’ group of Bordeaux Châteaux that, while outside the top tier of
classification, offer wines of a similar class and quality. Occasionally we come across a
parcel of another vintage so please feel free to enquire.
