weight RESTRICTION rescinded — PROVINCIAL HIGHWAY NO. 23
ORDER Respecting Provincial Highway No. 23.
Reference: Weight restriction for the bridge over the Red Deer River located on Provincial Highway
No. 23-03, 1.88 km west of the junction with Provincial Highway No. 38 at Chelan.
Pursuant to section 35.1 of The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997, the Minister hereby Orders that
Effective 12:01 a.m., December 4, 2015, Order No. 23-2015-WR19, dated December 1, 2015, restricting weight
for the bridge over the Red Deer River located on Provincial Highway No. 23-03, 1.88 km west of the junction
with Provincial Highway No. 38 at Chelan is rescinded.

BYLAW NO. NSAD 1/2015 –
EXTENSION OF TIME REQUIRED FOR COMPLETION OF ASSESSMENT ROLL
1 The Northern Municipalities Act, 2010 (Act), empowers the Minister of Government Relations to act as the
Mayor and Council of the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, and, in so doing, may enact bylaws
on behalf of the District in the form of Minister’s Orders.
2 Clause 2(1)(n) of the Act provides that “district” means the Northern Saskatchewan Administration
District not including any area within the boundaries of a town, northern village or northern hamlet.
3 Subsection 225(1) of the Act states a municipality shall prepare an assessment roll for each year for all
assessed property in the municipality no later than May 1.
4 Subsection 440(4) of the Act states subject to subsections (5) and (6), if a council-related matter cannot
be or is not done within the number of days or at a time fixed by or pursuant to this Act, the council may, by
bylaw, set a further or other time for doing it, whether the time at or within which it ought to have been done
has or has not expired.
5 Subsection 440(5) of the Act states a bylaw pursuant to subsection (4) must be passed within 30 days after
the time fixed by or pursuant to this Act has expired.
6 Subsection 440(6) of the Act states no council shall pass a bylaw pursuant to subsection (4) extending the
time fixed by or pursuant to this Act by more than 90 days.
7 Bylaw No. NSAD 1/2015, as contained in Schedule 1, as attached hereto, shall be read, applied and
enforced as a bylaw of the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District effective as and from the date of
this Order.

The Minister of Government Relations, on behalf of the Northern Saskatchewan Administrative District in
the Province of Saskatchewan, under the provision of subsection 89(1) of The Northern Municipalities Act, 2010
(Act), as the council for the District, hereby enacts to extend the time required pursuant to subsection 225(1)
of the Act for completion of the District’s assessment roll by 60 days from May 1, 2015 to July 1, 2015.
1 The Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency will be notified in writing as required under
clause 440(4)(b).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, effective immediately, pursuant to section 20.1 of The Highways and
Transportation Act, 1997, the Minister establishes a speed zone under Schedule B by erecting official signs
stating the speed limit at the following location:
• 80 km/hr along Provincial Highway No. 39 from a point 500 m east of its intersection with the Highway
Bypass to a point 800 m east of this intersection.

the week of publication. If a holiday occurs within the week of publication, the deadline is set back to 5 p.m.

submissions. Publication of any material received late will be delayed until the following week’s issue.
All material for publication in The Saskatchewan Gazette must be submitted electronically (MS Word
or WordPerfect) accompanied by a signed hard copy to the Office of the Queen’s Printer, Saskatchewan

Each document or disk must be complete in the form required for publication and must be separate from
the covering letter. Signatures on all documents must be typewritten or clearly printed immediately below
the written signatures.

Cheques or money orders must be made payable to the Queen’s Printer Revolving Fund. Please include the
