Building Dynamic Simulation tools were used in order to assess the flexibility of different building types equipped with heat pumps, in the Belgian context (concrete structure, radiators or heating floor). Different regulation strategies were tested including intermittent heating, continuous heating, variable set point. Those strategies were ranked as function of their potential of flexibility for smart grids, as well as over consumptions associated to storage. Last Research Project Calibration of building simulation models and identification of building parameters based on in situ measurements. Industrial application fields Heating system control for Smart grids.
