The La Broquerie Community Development Corporation (CDC) is committed to supporting our
local businesses, professionals, entrepreneurs and community groups.
Join the economic network (LABIZ) by emailing [email protected] or by singing up to
the La Broquerie community website at labroquerie.communityinfo.net -over 140 businesses
have now signed up!!! As we have moved towards social media to promote CDC initiatives, we
will discontinue the Newsletter but use the La Broquerie community website, email lists and the
CDC FACEBOOK page. If you haven’t already done so, please “Like” our page to stay informed.

Our goal for this network is to fuel La Broquerie’s important economic sector through promotion, training, education

LAB BIZZ BUCKS
In an effort to promote our local businesses and inspire residents to spend their dollars locally, the CDC is initiating a LAB
BUCKS, program. Read the following outline & agreement and send it [email protected] to sign-up.
For special events and upon merchants’ agreement, the CDC will give out vouchers-LAB BIZZ BUCKS to participants of the event.
 The vouchers will be redeemable at participating merchants for a limited time only, within a few weeks of the event.
 The vouchers have no cash value, therefore the merchant does not give back change or cash.
 A list of the participating merchants will be on the voucher/and or on-line (FREE advertising!).
 After the deadline to redeem the voucher has passed, the merchant will have 1 month to request reimbursement from
the CDC, or elect to donate the amount, as per the following agreement.
 Upon receiving proof of the amount of vouchers (keep the vouchers), the CDC will refund the amount agreed upon.
 The CDC will follow up with the businesses to evaluate the value of the program
The first event that CDC wants to implement this is the Annual Community Garbage Pick-Up DAY on May 7th

La Société de Développement Communautaire (SDC) de La Broquerie est engagée à appuyer les
entreprises, les professionnels, services et les entrepreneurs locaux.
Joignez-vous au réseau (LABIZ) en déposant votre requête par courriel à [email protected] ou
au site web www.labroquerie.community info.net – il y a déjà plus de 140 groupes abonnés! Nous
sommes maintenant sur FACEBOOK et par conséquent, nous allons cesser de faire le E-Nouvelles mais
plutôt utiliser email, le site web et FB - facebook.com/SDCLABCDC/. « Aimez » notre page pour rester au courant. Vous
pouvez aussi nous demander de promouvoir votre page.
Le but du réseau est de continuer à alimenter le secteur économique de La Broquerie afin de promouvoir, de former,
d’éduquer et de développer des partenariats stratégiques et synergiques.

LAB BIZZ BUCKS
Dans un effort de promouvoir nos commerces locaux et inspirer les résidents de dépenser leurs dollars aux entreprises locale, la CDC pilote
un programme de certificats-LAB BIZZ BUCKS. Veuillez bien lire les détails et l’entente suivante, et le retourner à
[email protected].
Pour des événements spéciaux et avec le consentement des entreprises, la CDC donne des certificats aux participants de l’événement.
 Les certificats seront utilisables aux entreprises participantes pour un temps limité, 2-3 semaines après l’événement.
 Les certificats n’ont aucune valeur monétaire : les entreprises ne remettent aucun comptant (cash).
 Une liste des entreprises participantes sera imprimé sur le certificat et/ou listé en ligne (promotion gratuite!)
 Une fois la date limite passée, l’entreprise aura 1 mois à faire demande de remboursement de la SDC, ou choisir d’en faire un don,
tel que rédigé dans l’entente.
 La SDC fera un suivi pour évaluer la valeur du programme
Une fois la preuve du montant de certificats (gardez les tous) sont déterminés, la SDC remboursera le montant tel que stipulé dans l’entente.
Le premier événement où la SDC aimerait implementer le programme est au Nettoyage Communautaire annuel le 7 mai prochain.
