L'histoire n'est pas finie et la carte du monde continue de changer. La chute du mur de Berlin n'a pas produit
de nouvel équilibre international et l'idée de l'État-nation elle ne soutient plus au choc de la globalisation. Il y
a des États qu'ils font faillite, autres qui s'allient, autres qui s'imposent aussi en n'ayant pas des frontières
définies. Nous oscillons entre guerre et paix, entre peur et espoir, entre politique de solidarité et actes
terroristes, traversés d'une crise économique profonde et dans la modernité d'une révolution technologique
extraordinaire, aux prises avec des flux migratoires imposants et des défis humanitaires. sans précédent. Ça
suffit celui-ci, alors, pour nous demander en que monde nous vivons, pour comprendre ce qui se passe
réellement autour de nous.
Plongés dans un flux continu de renseignements et dans le besoin d'une nouvelle prise de conscience, nous
risquons de nous perdre dans mille détails, à la dérive respecte au sens général des événements. Il est celle-ci
la raison pour laquelle l'EATGA veut s'approcher, dans sa réunion scientifique annuelle, au défi social,
politique et culturel que la contemporanéité met à l'attention du psychanalyste et en particulier de l'analyste du
groupe entre stupeur et désenchantement.

History is not over and the map of the world continues to change. The fall of the Berlin Wall did not produce
a new international equilibrium and the idea of the national state can no longer withstand the impact of
globalization. There are states that fail, others who ally, others who stand their ground despite having no clear
boundaries. We oscillate between war and peace, between fear and hope, between solidarity policies and acts
of terrorism, superimposed by a deep economic crisis and an extraordinary ultramodern technological
revolution, struggling with large-scale migration and unprecedented humanitarian challenges. All this is
enoughto ask ourselves in which world we live, to understand what really happens around us.
Immersed in a continuous flow of information and in need of a new awareness, we risk losing ourselves in a
thousand details, drifting over the general meaning of the events. This is the reason why we propose to
approach with occasion of the annual scientific meeting of EATGA the challenge of social, political and
cultural contemporaneity presents to the sight of psychoanalysts and especially group analysts trapped
between astonishment and disillusionment.
