province of Verona with this Tourist Charter for the Veronese
area.
In this booklet you will find useful information to help you
enjoy your stay in the province of Verona.
You will also find specific commitments related to those
aspects of quality which are considered important by the
tourists in our area. The promotion of the tourists’ and visitors’
satisfaction through our commitment towards constant
improvement is a basic principle of this administration.

PRESENTAZIONE
LA PROVINCIA DI VERONA PER IL TURISMO
Le principali competenze dell’Amministrazione Provinciale
(d’ora in poi Provincia di Verona) in materia di turismo
riguardano le attività di informazione, accoglienza e assistenza
ai turisti, nonché di promozione locale.
La Provincia di Verona, attraverso Provincia di Verona - Turismo Srl
e/o in accordo con le Amministrazioni Locali, gestisce
21 Uffici IAT (Informazione e Accoglienza Turistica) collocati
sul territorio.
In città, in Via delle Franceschine 10, si trovano i servizi
centralizzati di informazione e accoglienza per operatori
turistici, enti locali e stampa.
In collaborazione con gli Uffici IAT e con il supporto delle
realtà operanti nelle località della provincia di Verona, si
organizzano manifestazioni - come Provincia da Scoprire per far crescere la consapevolezza turistica delle comunità locali
e per avvicinare i visitatori ai molteplici fattori di attrattiva del
Veronese.

ricettive viene offerta Welcome
Card, un segno tangibile di
benvenuto per usufruire di
sconti e agevolazioni in parchi,
musei, servizi di navigazione
lacustre, impianti sportivi, bar,
ristoranti, cantine e osterie.

Perché?
La Carta del Turista nasce nell’ambito del Programma di
Accoglienza del Turista1 con lo scopo di promuovere la qualità
nel turismo avendo come riferimento le peculiarità del
territorio veronese, i suoi fattori di attrattiva, gli attori che vi
operano, i diversi tipi di «turismi» che vi hanno luogo, nonché
gli usi e le consuetudini locali.
Per chi?
La Carta del Turista è rivolta a tutti i turisti, i visitatori,
gli escursionisti che scelgono la provincia di Verona come meta,
ma anche ai residenti che vogliono trascorrere qualche ora del
loro tempo libero come «esploratori» del proprio territorio.
Come?
La Carta del Turista vuole essere di supporto all’impegno
per migliorare i servizi attraverso la valutazione della qualità
percepita e la raccolta sistematica di suggerimenti e segnalazioni
da parte di chi utilizza i servizi stessi.
Dove?
La Carta del Turista individua nella rete degli Uffici di
Informazione e Accoglienza Turistica (IAT) il luogo
di incontro ideale per l’informazione e l’assistenza al turista.

QUALITÀ
Cosa stiamo facendo per assicurare servizi
di qualità
Per assicurare servizi di qualità abbiamo analizzato, fase per fase,
tutti i passaggi che il turista attraversa quando soggiorna nel
nostro territorio, dopo essersi informato e aver eventualmente
fatto le prenotazioni:
•• punto di arrivo nel territorio veronese (aeroporto, stazione);
•• trasporto in provincia di Verona (con auto propria o con
mezzi pubblici);
•• alloggio;
•• servizi presso la località turistica.
Abbiamo chiesto ad un campione di turisti quali aspetti
dei servizi ritenga importanti. In base alle risposte, abbiamo
individuato degli impegni di qualità che Le esponiamo
qui di seguito.
Se Lei dovesse riscontrare delle differenze tra gli impegni di
qualità e le prestazioni che Le vengono offerte, La preghiamo
di segnalarcele, attraverso il questionario allegato alla presente
Carta.
Questo servirà per tenere costantemente sotto controllo le
prestazioni realizzate e ridiscutere periodicamente gli aspetti
della qualità dei servizi con gli operatori interessati.

Se deve partire con il treno, Le consigliamo
di recarsi in stazione con i mezzi pubblici o
almeno di giungere con adeguato margine di
anticipo. Per i viaggiatori stranieri si ricorda
che in Italia le aree di sosta a pagamento
sono delimitate da strisce di colore blu, quelle
gratuite da strisce bianche, mentre le aree
riservate sono segnate con il colore giallo.

in uscita dall’autostrada è chiara e agevola
l’orientamento.

Le persone addette all’assistenza dei
passeggeri in arrivo e in partenza faranno
del loro meglio per prendere personalmente
in carico le Sue richieste. Presso la stazione
ferroviaria di Verona Porta Nuova e
l’aeroporto Catullo di Verona -Villafranca
si trova un Ufficio IAT.

È possibile trovare diverse alternative di
ristorazione, con orari di apertura prolungati.
Disponibilità di

Sono disponibili servizi igienici in numero
adeguato. Per i viaggiatori stranieri, si ricorda
che in Italia è consueto ordinare una piccola
consumazione prima di usufruire dei servizi
igienici di bar ed esercizi pubblici.

Nei pressi dei caselli autostradali sono
presenti parcheggi gratuiti. In zona
aeroporto vi è un’ampia offerta di parcheggi
a pagamento, tra cui scegliere in base al
tempo previsto di permanenza. Nei pressi
della stazione ferroviaria di Verona vi sono

di trasporto pubblico sono esposte in modo
chiaro. Presso gli Uffici IAT può ritirare

Chiarezza della
segnaletica stradale
La segnaletica stradale è chiara e Le consente
di orientarsi con facilità. Le ricordiamo che
i segnali turistici hanno sfondo marrone
e scritte bianche. In provincia di Verona
sono segnalati percorsi ciclabili e sentieri,
mentre in città sono indicati alcuni itinerari
pedonali. Per l’accesso in auto alla città
di Verona Le ricordiamo che tutto il
centro storico è soggetto a restrizioni nella
cosiddetta Z.T.L. (zona a traffico limitato)
controllata da telecamere. I clienti di alberghi

Presso la Fiera di Verona vi sono parcheggi
a pagamento, adeguati nei giorni normali
ma insufficienti durante le principali
manifestazioni fieristiche. Un servizio
di autobus navetta collega la Fiera con i
parcheggi scambiatori della zona stadio e
con il centro cittadino. In diversi comuni
della Provincia la sosta è a pagamento in
zone attrezzate con parcometri. I principali
parchi divertimento dispongono di adeguati
parcheggi, gratuiti e/o a pagamento.

Può conoscere in ogni momento la situazione
del traffico autostradale sintonizzandosi sul
canale radio Isoradio 103.3 FM o sulle
emittenti locali le cui frequenze sono indicate
dalla segnaletica lungo il percorso. Può anche
telefonare al call center Viabilità Autostrade
per l’Italia 840 042121 oppure ai numeri

Questi numeri non sono raggiungibili
da cellulari esteri. Per gli automobilisti
stranieri si ricorda che il limite di velocità
in autostrada è di 130 Km/h e che è
obbligatorio accendere i fari dell’auto anche
durante le ore del giorno.
A Verona città sono disponibili i seguenti
parcheggi. Parcheggi liberi: Porta Palio Piazzale Guardini - Via Città di Nîmes
- Stadio Ospedale Borgo Roma.

in Via Bentegodi - Via Pallone - Ospedale
Borgo Trento - Piazza Cittadella - Arsenale
- Via Città di Nîmes - Porta Vescovo Piazza Isolo - Parcheggio Italia in Corso
Porta Nuova - Parcheggio Paradiso in Via
Paradiso. Inoltre, durante le fasce orarie
di libero accesso alla Z.T.L.: parcheggio
a pagamento di Piazza Bra Molinari.
Per parcheggiare lungo la maggioranza
delle vie cittadine bisogna esporre i Verona
Park, tagliandi prepagati in vendita presso
tabaccherie ed edicole, oppure munirsi di
ticket ai parcometri automatici a contanti.
Alloggio:
manutenzione
dell’immobile e
degli ambienti
La manutenzione generale degli alloggi
- intesi sia come strutture immobiliari sia
come ambienti - è adeguata alle esigenze
del turista. Ben 115 alberghi in Verona e
provincia sono risultati idonei alla verifica
di parametri di qualità strutturali, secondo
il modello previsto dal Marchio di Qualità
della Camera di Commercio di Verona.

Guida all’Ospitalità editi annualmente da
Provincia di Verona - Turismo. Copia degli
annuari può essere richiesta o ritirata presso
tutti gli Uffici IAT.
Localizzazione
comoda della
struttura ricettiva
Le strutture ricettive hanno diverse
collocazioni, ovviamente la vicinanza
rispetto ai principali fattori di attrattiva
può determinare variazioni di prezzo.
La invitiamo dunque a verificare, all’atto
della prenotazione, l’effettiva distanza
dell’alloggio rispetto ai punti di interesse.
Le strutture ricettive si impegnano a
comunicare in modo affidabile gli effettivi
tempi di spostamento.
Professionalità
del personale di
reception
Presso la reception delle strutture ricettive
può trovare personale adeguatamente
qualificato, cortese e disponibile. Gli addetti
al ricevimento, abituati ad accogliere clientela
internazionale, sono in grado di comunicare
con gli ospiti anche in lingua straniera.

Le stanze vengono assegnate cercando di
soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti.
La invitiamo a far presente al gestore della
struttura ricettiva le Sue particolari esigenze
all’atto della prenotazione.

Per conoscere gli alloggi accessibili alle persone
diversamente abili in Provincia di Verona può

Sensibilità verso la
tutela dell’ambiente
nell’alloggio
Le strutture ricettive adottano misure di
tutela dell’ambiente per ridurre l’impatto
dell’attività turistica, cercando di incoraggiare
comportamenti responsabili da parte degli
ospiti (raccolta differenziata, riduzione degli
sprechi di acqua...). È in corso un progetto
della Regione del Veneto che porterà a una
classificazione delle strutture ricettive in base
alla loro compatibilità ambientale.
Trasparenza dei
prezzi
Tutte le strutture ricettive, i ristoranti, i taxi,
gli altri esercizi espongono listini chiari e ben
visibili con indicati i prezzi praticati.
In particolare i prezzi delle strutture ricettive
sono visibilmente esposti alla reception e
all’interno delle camere. Se dovesse riscontrare
delle incongruenze rispetto ai prezzi indicati
può segnalarle alla Provincia, organo preposto
alla vigilanza, secondo le modalità illustrate
più avanti su questa Carta del Turista.

I luoghi aperti al pubblico sono puliti, ordinati
e decorosi. Per preservarli, è importante la
collaborazione di tutti coloro che li visitano
e ne usufruiscono. Se Lei dovesse notare
delle situazioni spiacevoli, può segnalarle ai
responsabili della struttura e anche all’Ufficio
IAT più vicino, che inoltrerà ufficialmente la
Sua segnalazione.

Sicurezza
La sicurezza delle persone e delle loro
proprietà è fondamentale per godere di una
vacanza serena. Le Autorità di Pubblica
Sicurezza e le Amministrazioni Locali della
provincia di Verona collaborano per garantire
sicurezza ai turisti, come a tutti i cittadini.

The main competences of the Provincial Administration
(hereafter Provincia di Verona) in the field of tourism regard
the activities of information, reception and assistance to tourists,
as well as the promotion of the territory.
The Provincia di Verona, through Provincia di Verona - Turismo Srl
and/or in agreement with the local administrations, manages
21 Uffici IAT (Informazione ed Accoglienza Turistica), Tourist
Information Centres located on the territory.
In the city centre, in Via delle Franceschine 10, is the main office
for the centralized services of information and reception for
tourist operators, local agencies and press agencies.
In collaboration with the IAT centres and supported by the
local operators of the province of Verona, entertainment
events are organised - such as Provincia da Scoprire (The
Province at your Fingertips) - in order to increase tourist
awareness of the local communities and to favour the access
of the visitors to the multiple attractors in the Veronese area.

The Tourist Charter was created within the context of the
Tourist Reception Programme1 in order to promote quality
in tourism with reference to the characteristics of the Veronese
territory, its tourist attractors, the operating agents, the diverse
kinds of tourism in the area, as well as local traditions.

What we are doing to ensure quality
in services
In order to ensure quality in services, we analysed step by step
all the phases experienced by the tourists when sojourning in
our territory, after having obtained information and eventually
having booked their stay:
•• place of arrival in the Veronese territory (airport, train
station);
•• means of transport while staying in the province of Verona
(own car or public transport);
•• accommodation;
•• services at the tourist site.
We asked a sample of tourists which aspects of the services they
considered important. On the basis of their answers we devised
precise quality commitments as you will find here expressed.
If you should experience any difference between the quality
commitments and the services offered, please report it to us,
using the questionnaire attached to this charter.
This will be useful to monitor constantly the services provided
and reanalyse periodically the aspects of quality in such services
with the operators concerned.

Moreover, during the free access times to
ZTL areas, you can use the pay car park in
Piazza Brà Molinari. On most of the city
streets parking requires the Verona Park,
pre-paid cards where date and time of the
parking must be scratched and which must
be put on display in the car.These cards are
sold at tobacconist’s and newspaper kiosks.
In the Verona Fair area there are pay car
parks, sufficient for everyday traffic but
insufficient during main exhibitions.
A shuttle service connects the fair to the
exchange car park in the stadium area
and another to the city centre. In many
municipalities of the province, the parking
areas are organised by means of pay and
display coin parking meters.The main theme
parks have adequate car parks, free and/or
pay ones.

even for women travelling alone. However, special attention

it will periodically undergo revisions in order to be kept
updated. Such revisions will be made based on the answers
to the questionnaire here below. We kindly ask you to read

PRÉSENTATION
La Province de Vérone pour le tourisme
Le principales compétences de l’Administration Provinciale
(désormais Province de Vérone) concernent en matière de
tourisme les activités d’information, d’accueil et d’assistance aux
touristes, mais aussi de promotion locale.
La Province de Vérone, avec la Provincia di Verona – Turismo
Srl et/ou en accord avec les Administrations Locales gère 21
Bureaux IAT (Information et Accueil Touristique) situés sur tout
le territoire.
Dans le centre-ville,Via delle Franceschine 10, sont situés
les services centralisés d’information et d’accueil pour
les opérateurs touristiques, les organismes locaux et la presse.
En collaboration avec les Bureaux IAT et avec le soutien
des organismes de la Province de Vérone, sont organisées des
manifestations – comme Découvrir la Province – pour
développer la conscience touristique des collectivités locales et
pour faire connaître aux visiteurs les nombreux facteurs attractifs
de la région de Vérone.

Pourquoi?
La Charte du Touriste est née dans le cadre du Programme
d’Accueil du Touriste1 dans le but de promouvoir la qualité
du tourisme en prenant pour point de départ la spécificité
du territoire véronais, ses facteurs attractifs, les acteurs qui y
opèrent, les divers types de “tourismes” qui s’y pratiquent
et les us et coutumes locales.
Pour qui?
La Charte du Touriste s’adresse à tous les touristes, les visiteurs,
les excursionnistes qui choisissent la Province de Vérone comme
destination, mais aussi aux résidents qui veulent passer quelques
heures de leur temps libre à “explorer” leur propre territoire.
Comment?
La Charte du Touriste veut soutenir l’engagement envers
l’amélioration des services par l’évaluation de la qualité perçue
et le recueil systématique des suggestions et des signalisations de
la part de ceux qui utilisent ces mêmes services.
Où?
La Charte du Touriste identifie dans le réseau des Bureaux
d’Information et d’Accueil Touristique (IAT) le lieu de
rencontre idéal pour l’information et l’assistance au touriste,
selon des principes d’égalité et d’impartialité propres au service
public.

Ce que nous faisons pour assurer des services
de qualité
Pour assurer des services de qualité, nous avons analysé phase
par phase toutes les étapes que le touriste traverse au cours d’un
séjour dans notre territoire, après avoir pris les renseignements
nécessaires et éventuellement effectué des réservations:
•• lieu d’arrivée sur le territoire véronais (aéroport, gare);
•• transport dans la Province de Vérone (avec véhicule
personnel ou par les transports en commun);
•• logement;
•• services auprès de la localité touristique.
Nous avons demandé à un échantillon de touristes quels aspects
des services ils considèrent les plus importants. En fonction de
leurs réponses, nous avons identifié des engagements-qualité que
nous exposons aux pages qui suivent.
Si vous étiez amenés à noter des différences entre les
engagements-qualité et les prestations qui vous sont offertes,
nous vous prions de nous les signaler, par le biais du
questionnaire inséré dans cette charte.
Cela nous permettra d’exercer un contrôle constant sur
les prestations effectuées et de remettre périodiquement en
question les aspects de la qualité des services avec les opérateurs
concernés.

La signalisation routière est claire et vous
permet de bien vous orienter. Nous vous
rappelons que les signes touristiques sont
blancs sur fond marron. Dans la Province
sont signalés les pistes cyclables et les
sentiers; en ville sont indiqués quelques
itinéraires piétonniers. Pour entrer en voiture
dans la ville de Vérone, nous vous rappelons
que tout le centre-ville est soumis aux limites

prépayés sur lesquels on “gratte” la date et
l’heure du stationnement, en vente dans les
bureaux de tabac et les kiosques à journaux.
À côté de la Foire de Vérone se trouvent des
parkings payants, suffisants pour les jours
“normaux” mais insuffisants pendant les
principaux salons. Un services de navettes
relie la Foire aux parkings-relais du quartier
du stade et au centre-ville. Dans diverses
communes de la Province, le stationnement
est payant dans les zones pourvues de
parcmètres automatiques à pièces.
Les principaux parcs de loisirs disposent de
parkings appropriés, gratuits et/ou payants.

Les structures d’accueil adoptent des mesures
de protection de l’environnement pour
diminuer l’impact de l’activité touristique,

diminution du gaspillage de l’eau...).
La Région Veneto a mis en place un projet
qui vise à établir un classement des structures
d’accueil selon leur adéquation au respect de
l’environnement.

Toutes les structures d’accueil, les restaurants,
les taxis et autres services présentent des
documents clairs et bien visibles indiquant
les prix pratiqués.Tout particulièrement
les prix des structures d’accueil, qui sont

pouvez le signaler directement à la Province,

Die Provinz Verona: Engagement im Tourismus
Die wichtigsten Kompetenzen der Provinzverwaltung (fortan
genannt Provinz Verona) im Bereich Tourismus kreisen um
Informationsvermittlung und unterstützende Serviceleistungen
sowie um lokale Marketingmaßnahmen. Die Provinz Verona
betreibt über die Gesellschaft Provincia di Verona - Turismo Srl und/
oder in Übereinkunft mit den örtlichen Verwaltungen 21 IAT
- Büros (Informazione ed Accoglienza Turistica - Touristische
Informationen und Leistungen), die über das ganze Gebiet
verteilt sind.
In der Provinzhauptstadt Verona (Via delle Franceschine, 10)
befindet sich die zentrale Servicestelle rund um touristische
Informationen und Leistungen für Fachleute aus dem
Fremdenverkehrssektor, örtliche Verbände und Körperschaften
sowie Journalisten. In Zusammenarbeit mit den IAT-Büros und
mit Unterstützung vor Ort in den Gemeinden der Provinz
Verona werden Veranstaltungen wie, „Die Provinz entdecken“
organisiert, um das touristische Bewusstsein der einheimischen
Bevölkerung zu stärken und den Urlaubern die vielseitigen
Sehenswürdigkeiten der Provinz Verona näher zu bringen.

Die TouristikCharta richtet sich vornehmlich an alle Touristen,
Besucher und Ausflügler, die Provinz Verona als Ziel wählen. Sie
will aber auch den Veronesern ein Begleiter sein, die ihre Freizeit
nutzen, um ihre Provinz zu „erkunden“.

Die TouristikCharta hat eine unterstützende Funktion im
Engagement für eine Verbesserung der Serviceleistungen durch
die Bewertung der wahrgenommenen Qualität und die
systematische Erfassung von Hinweisen und Anregungen seitens

Die TouristikCharta wurde aufgesetzt im Rahmen eines
Fremdenverkehrsprogramms1 mit dem Ziel, die Qualität im
Tourismus zu fördern in Bezug auf die besonderen
Charakteristiken der Provinz Verona, ihre Sehenswürdigkeiten, die
Menschen, die sie beleben, die verschiedenen Tourismusformen,
die sie prägen, und die örtlichen Bräuche und Traditionen.

Was wir für garantierte Servicequalität tun
Um garantierte Servicequalität bieten zu können, haben wir
alle Phasen und Stationen untersucht, die der Urlauber während
seines Aufenthaltes in unserer Provinz durchläuft, nachdem
er Informationen eingeholt und eventuell eine Buchung
vorgenommen hat:
•• ankunft in der Provinz Verona (Flughafen, Bahnhof);
•• transfer in der Provinz Verona (mit dem eigenen PKW oder
öffentlichen Verkehrmitteln);
•• unterkunft;
•• serviceleistungen in den Touristenorten.
Wir haben eine Reihe von Touristen befragt, welche Aspekte
der Serviceleistungen für sie wichtig sind. Auf der Grundlage
ihrer Antworten haben wir einzelne Punkte ermittelt, die unser
Engagement für Qualität charakterisieren und die wir
nachfolgend darstellen.
Sollten Sie Diskrepanzen feststellen zwischen unserem
Qualitätsengagement und den Ihnen angebotenen Leistungen,

Parksystem Verona Park: im Voraus bezahlte
Parkscheine, auf denen man das Datum

sichtbar im Fahrzeug ausgelegt werden.
Bei der Messe Verona befinden sich
ebenfalls gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze
in ausreichender Zahl an „normalen
Tagen“, aber nicht ausreichend während
der Veranstaltung großer Messen. Ein
Zubringerbus verkehrt dann zwischen dem
Stadtzentrum und den Park-and-ridePlätzen am Stadium. In verschiedenen
Gemeinden der Provinz Verona parkt
man gebührenpflichtig auf Plätzen mit
Parkuhren (Zahlung mit Bargeld). Auch
die größten Vergnügungsparks verfügen über
angemessene Parkplätze (kostenfrei und/
oder kostenpflichtig).

Die TouristikCharta und die in ihr beschriebenen
Verpflichtungen werden regelmäßig überprüft und
gegebenenfalls rechtzeitig aktualisiert. Diese Überprüfung
erfolgt auf der Grundlage der Bewertungen, die in dem
nachfolgenden Fragebogen abgegeben werden. Wir bitten
