New RePower Fuel System Kits for Models Produced in 2012

Federal EPA regulations require all model year 2012 and later gasoline powered engines produced for sale
in the United States and Canada to be equipped with a special low permeation fuel supply hose between
the carburetor and the fuel tank. When servicing model year 2012 and later equipment, only fuel supply
hoses and fuel cap gaskets certified by EPA can be used to replace the original equipment fuel supply
hose and fuel cap gasket. Fines up to $37,500 may be enforced for using un-certified replacement parts.
Aftermarket parts with similar specifications are not certified and therefore are not authorized per EPA
regulations.
Current RePower Fuel System Kits cannot be used in units built after January 1, 2012.
To make it more convenient, we have RePower Fuel System Kits available in retail and bulk packaging.

Bulk Fuel Line for Models Produced after January 1, 2012
Low permeation bulk fuel supply hose will soon be available. Existing NBR bulk fuel hose can be used on
units produced after January 1, 2012 ONLY inside the tank. Low permeation bulk fuel hose MUST be
used from the tank to the carburetor.

Installblackfuellinetocarburetorinletfitting,andyellowfuelreturnlinetocarburetoroutletfitting.Positionventlinebehindstarter
housing.
• Forkitscontainingapurgebulb,removeairfiltercoverandairfilter.Loosenairfiltercase/carburetormountingscrewstoprovide
clearanceforremovingpurgebulbretainingplatescrews.
• Removepurgebulbretainingplatescrewsandremoveretainingplateandpurgebulb.Installnewpurgebulbingroove,andsecure
withretainingplateandscrews.Tightenscrews.
• Tightenairfiltercase/carburetormountingscrews,andinstallairfilterandairfiltercover.
• Removeoldfuelcapgasket,andinstallnewfuelcapgasketintocap.
• Fillfueltankwithfuelmix,andtightencap.Rotateunit;thereMUSTBENOLEAKS.Ifleaksarefound,contactyourECHOdealer
beforeusingunit.

Revisserlesvisdemontageducadredufiltreàair/carburateur,etinstallerlefiltreàairetlecouvercledufiltreàair.
Retirerl'ancienjointdubouchonducarburantetinstallerlenouveaujointdanslebouchon.
Remplirleréservoirdecarburantaveclemélangedecarburantetrefermerlebouchon.Fairepivoterl'unité;ilNEDOITPASYAVOIRDE
