CONFÉRENCE RADIOLOGIE Superviseurs cliniques physiothérapie 22 octobre 2013 Université de Sherbrooke Raymonde Fortin BSc kin, pht Dip sport physio, CAT(C), FCAMPT, CAFCI DSc PT (candidate) Objectif général : À la fin de la conférence, le superviseur clinique aura révisé certaines notions essentielles en imagerie médicale musculosquelettique afin de répondre à la pratique actuelle et aura acquis de nouvelles connaissances afin de mieux comprendre les enjeux de la pratique avancée au niveau de la radiologie. Objectifs spécifiques : • Mieux comprendre l’importance de l’imagerie médicale en réadaptation. • Mieux comprendre l’importance de noter les informations radiologiques au dossier du patient, incluant le rapport et l’inscription quant à la visualisation des images. • Explorer le statut de l’imagerie musculosquelettique en réadaptation au Québec, au Canada, aux États-Unis et dans certains pays du Commonwealth en incluant l’échographie comme outil émergeant en physiothérapie. • Réviser quelques notions au niveau des différents tests d’imagerie musculosquelettique. • Acquérir les éléments de base guidant la prescription des tests radiologiques au niveau des rapports coût/accessibilité et dangerosité/bénéfice de ces tests. • Explorer les règles cliniques de prescription validées les plus utilisées lors d’atteinte traumatique au niveau de la cheville, du genou et de la région cervicale • Connaître certaines données probantes au niveau de l’utilité de la radiologie dans la détection/description de pathologies souvent rencontrées en physiothérapie orthopédique • Explorer quelques ressources de base permettant au superviseur clinique de supporter l’étudiant au niveau de l’imagerie médicale • Acquérir quelques principes de lecture de la radiographie conventionnelle et l’appliquer lors de l’interprétation des images au niveau du genou, de l’épaule et de la région lombaire.
