Femmes pour l’innovation
Lancement du réseau « Women in Engineering »
A l’occasion du salon international de l’aéronautique et de l’espace 2013, le réseau « Women in Engineering », a
été lancé à l’initiative de 3 dirigeantes* du groupe Altran en collaboration avec des femmes d’influence** des
groupes Safran et PSA. Ce nouveau réseau rassemble des femmes ayant des fonctions de direction dans le
monde de l’ingénierie.
Seul réseau interentreprises réunissant des dirigeantes internationales
du monde de l’ingénierie, « Women in Engineering » rassemble des
personnalités passionnées ayant pour ambition commune de contribuer
à changer concrètement la société et portées par le sens de
l’anticipation en faveur de la performance business et de la croissance.
En filigrane, c’est toute la filière ingénierie qui sera valorisée, afin de
renforcer l’attractivité d’une activité ayant un besoin croissant
d’innovation et de flexibilité dans un contexte international et dans un
monde toujours plus global.
Parce que les femmes évoluent elles-mêmes dans un milieu compétitif
dans lequel elles ont leur place, les femmes dirigeantes qui forment le
réseau « Women in engineering » détiennent des compétences clés pour
contribuer à développer l’attractivité du secteur de l’ingénierie, pilier de
l’innovation et de la compétitivité.

Biographies
Claudie HAMERSTEHL
GLOBAL ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Altran
Claudie is currently Global Account Director within the Aerospace Defence & Railways International Division of
Altran. In addition to managing global accounts such as Thales and Alstom Transport, she also heads up the
International Business Development of the Railway sector, where her mission is to develop Altran’s Railway
activities throughout the world.
Claudie has 15 years experience in business and management, holding positions ranging from Operational
Manager to Global Account Manager in several Engineering Services companies. During her career, she has
developed a specific approach based on innovative solutions bringing added value to her customers. Claudie
has a Master degree in engineering from Sup’Aéro in France (Toulouse). She is 47 years old, married with 2
daughters.
Corinne JOUANNY
CO-FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Altran Pr[i]me
Corinne is the co-founder and managing director of Altran Pr[i]me, specialised in innovation management and
design thinking. She obtained a PhD from Ecole des Mines in 1992 and led numerous R&D and Innovation
projects until 2004, switching from the shipyards, electronics, cosmetics and fuel industries to the automotive
sector. Since founding Altran Pr[i]me in 2004, Corinne has been developing Innovation Management offers. Her
team builds and manages innovation projects for many of Altran’s key clients and partners, and deals with a
range of projects covering challenges as diverse as “the airport of the future”, “design to X of future medical
devices”, “co-creation of innovative bank & insurance services”. She co-created and taught the Altran & Harvard
“Innovation in Science and Engineering” course and also developed training programmes designed for
companies to enable them to free up their innovation potential. Corinne is also a member of the Altran
Foundation Board.
Sandra VALMIER
GROUP VICE-PRESIDENT, MARKETING
Altran
Sandra is the Group Vice-President Marketing of Altran. With over 10 years of experience in professional
services marketing, Sandra has played a key role in the design and implementation of the Altran Group global
strategy.
She developed a bespoke approach to industry sectors, positioned Altran's complex solutions, and led several
innovation initiatives such as “Women in Engineering”.
President of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club for France, she aims to grow the networking and entrepreneurial
spirit among the Chicago Booth Business Community and beyond.
She holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and a Masters from Euromed Business School in France.
Sabine Haman
CORPORATE VICE-PRESIDENT, HEAD OF EXECUTIVE AND TALENT MANAGEMENT
Safran
Sabine has been the Head of “Executive and Talent Management” of the Safran Group since September 2012.
She started her career in 1991 in the Aerospatiale Missiles Division then went on to head up the Recruitment
Department. After two assignments as Deputy to the Head of Personnel and Training Programmes Manager, she
became Company Lawyer in 1997 in charge of contract negotiations for Missile Systems, in the Procurement
Department. When EADS was founded in 2000, she joined the head office where she was put in charge of High
Potentials Development worldwide. In 2005, she became Vice President of Talent & Leadership Development
leading the Corporate Business Academy of EADS. After 2 years heading up HR for Aircraft Programmes at
Airbus, in 2010 Sabine created the “HR Strategy and Competency Development” department at EADS Corporate.
Sabine Haman has a Master Degree in Business Law, a Master in Business Administration and a Postgraduate
Master in Human Resources Development from IAE (Paris).
Helene MOREAU-LEROY
EXECUTIVE VICE-PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMS – MESSIER-BUGATTI-DOWTY
Safran Group
Helene is a graduate from INSA Lyon and holds a Master in Business Administration.
She has occupied various management positions in R&D, project management, procurement and production and
spent 14 years of her carrier abroad. She joined the Purchasing Department of the Safran Group in 2003 ,
supported the International Development of Messier-Dowty (The Landing Gear company of the Safran Group),
then went on to become Executive Vice President of Programmes, in charge of Performance to Customers for
products in development and in production.
Hélène will be appointed Chairman and CEO of Hispano-Suiza during a meeting of the company's Board of
Directors next week, and is also joining the Safran Executive Committee.
Véronique MOREL
PURCHASING VICE-PRESIDENT for INNOVATION and PROGRAMS
PSA Peugeot Citroën
Véronique has been with PSA for the last 22 years and has extensive experience in managing projects, supply
chain and purchasing, in Germany, but mostly in France.
She started her career in 1990 as design and industrialisation manager for a new vehicle. From 1996 to 2001,
she was in charge of two successive management positions in the Purchasing Direction. She became General
Manager for Forecasts and Supply Chain for Peugeot in 2002. After 4 years, she became Vehicle Project Director.
Between 2007 and 2008, she was Executive Director for the development of Peugeot and Citroën in Germany. In
2009, she was appointed Purchasing Executive Director for Spare Parts. She is now Purchasing Vice President for
Innovation and Programmes.
Véronique is 46, has 2 daughters, is a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique (1985), Ecole Nationale des Ponts et
Chaussées (1990) and holds an Executive MBA from the HEC Business School (2003).
Nathalie RACHOU
FOUNDING PARTNER of TOPIARY FINANCE
BOARD MEMBER ALTRAN, VEOLIA and Société Générale
After obtaining a Master in Management at HEC, Paris in 1978, she joined Banque Indosuez where she held
various positions in the capital markets before creating the Matif subsidiary, Carr Futures International. She was
appointed Corporate Secretary of the bank in 1991 then returned to the Capital Markets in 1996 as Global Head
of Forex and options. In 1999, she founded Topiary Finance, an asset management company based in London,
which she still manages. She is a non-executive director and member of the audit committees of Société
Générale (since 2008), Veolia (since 2012) and Altran (since 2012). She is an advisor for French Foreign Trade
(since 2001).
