Obedience entries close at 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 18 or when an Obedience Judge’s
assignment has reached seven (7) hours of judging, based on the formula of 8 Novice, 7 Open and 6
Utility dogs per hour, whichever comes first.

Bitches in season are not permitted to compete. Where a bitch comes in to season after entry of the
bitch has been submitted to the Trial Secretary and a Veteranarian’s certificate that the bitch was in
season within the ten-day period preceding the trial is delivered to or reaches the Trial Secretary before
the date of the trial, the Trial-giving Club will refund entry, service charges and listing fees. / Les femelles

IN TRANSIT AREA / ESPACE EN TRANSIT
There will be an “In Transit’ area for dogs which are either en route to or from other shows. No dog may
be placed in this area if it is entered at the show. Only dogs that are registered or eligible to be shown
under CKC Rules can use the “In Transit area. Owners or Agents who wish to use this facility, please
see the Show Superintendent upon arrival at the show.
Il y aura un espace réservé “en transit” pour les chiens en route vers ou de l’exposition et no inscrits à
l’exposition. Aucun chien ne peut être placé dans cet espace s’il est instrit à l’exposition. Seul les
chiens entregistrés et éligibles à être présentés sous les règlements du CCC peuvent se servir de cet
espace. Les propriètaires ou agents qui souhaitent s’en servir, doivent voir le surintendent de

CAMPING
No Electricity will be available. Water will be available to fill RVs. Parking for campers will be available
at the Show Site from noon, Thursday, November 3rd . No charge for camping. An outside exercise
area is available at the rear of the parking area.
Un espace est prévu pour le campement de nuit sans éléctricité. Il y a de l’eau pour remplir les RV’s

Held under the rules established by the Canadian Kennel Club. Complete rules will be published in the
Catalogue. Classes offered will be: Pee Wee, Junior Novice, Junior Open, Intermediate Novice,
Intermediate Open, Senior Novice, Senior Open. Prize will be awarded to first place in each category.
Rosettes for all placements. PeeWee non competing. Best Overall Junior will receive a prize and a
rosette.
La compétition des jeunes manieurs de tiendra dimanche après-midi seulement, dans la première
enceinte disponible avant les jugements des groupes et se déroulera selon les règlements du CCC. Le

SECTION 1: A dog awarded WINNERS at a championship show held under these Dog Show Rules
shall be credited with a number of championship points (ranging from 0 to 5) and the determination of
the number of championship points to be credited to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as provided
hereunder.

To determine the numbers of championship points earned by a dog awarded WINNERS total all the
dogs in competition which the dog defeated, directly or indirectly, for the highest of the following official
breed awards: Winners, Best of Winners, Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex and then consult the
schedule set forth above. The new system provides for additional points (provided that the dog has
defeated another as listed hereunder:

A class dog awarded Best In Show at an all-breed championship show will be credited with five points
inclusive of any points earned at the breed or group level. In no case may a dog earn more than five
points at any single show.

Pour déterminer le nombre de points de championnat obtenus par un chien qui s'est qualifie comme
GAGNANT, vous devez faire le total de tous les chiens participants qui ont été défaits par ce chien,
directement ou indirectement, lors de l'attribution des titres officiels suivants, lorsque la sélection des
gagnants a été faite au niveau des races: Gagnant, Meilleur des Gagnants, Meilleur de la Race ou
Meilleur du Sexe Oppose, et ensuite vous referez a L'échelle ci-haut donnée. Le nouveau système
accorde des points additionnels dans le cas ou un chien qui s'est qualifie Gagnant se qualifie aussi au

The person accompanying the dog MUST show the identification card before the dog is allowed on
the Show premises. The ID card will serve as admission ticket. PLEASE MAINTAIN FOR
DURATION OF THE SHOW.

All dogs MUST be exercised in the exercise rings provided for that purpose. Private exercise pens
will be allowed if space permits. Exhibitors may be asked to remove private pens during show
hours.
3.
The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of the dogs and the exhibitors
but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident of other misfortune
to either dogs or exhibitors or patrons. If, because of riot, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the
control of the management, it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fees
will be made.
4.
THERE WILL BE NO INDIVIDUAL DOGS CALLED TO THE RING BY LOUD SPEAKER. Times on
the judging schedule will be broken down hourly into individual breeds. Extra copies will be
available at the show Secretary’s table. It is up to the exhibitor to have his dogs at ringside at the
specified time. Delays waiting for dogs will not be possible; handlers with several breeds must
arrange for alternate handlers if judging times conflict.

It shall be the duty and obligation of the show giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer, or
any participant at an event is not subject to indignities. The Conformation Show Committee Chair shall
promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have
the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred.

The Non-Member Participation Fee applies to dogs wholly owned by a resident of Canada who is not a
member of the CKC; it is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member. In
order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or
pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the
title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. (For a Membership application,
