Terms and Conditions of Fontignac Cutlery
Promotion at Select Metro Stores in Ontario
1. Collection of Fontignac Metro Stickers
1.1 From September 17, 2015 to January 13, 2016, each
participating Metro Ontario Inc. (“Metro”) store will give a
customer, when (and not after) the customer makes an
eligible purchase in the store, one Fontignac Metro sticker
for each $10.00 or integral multiple of $10.00, in each case
including applicable taxes, that the customer spends in the
same transaction on eligible purchases.
1.2 For example, if the total amount of eligible purchases in
a transaction is $38.00 (including taxes), the customer will
receive three Fontignac Metro stickers.

2. Redemption of Fontignac Metro Stickers
2.1 Fontignac Metro stickers may only be redeemed at any
participating Metro store . Such store will redeem the
stickers at any time on demand.

2.2 Customers may redeem Fontignac Metro stickers for a

on the saver card for such item and paying the amount,
including sales tax, if any, indicated on the saver card for
such item.

2.3 Customers may redeem Fontignac Metro stickers for a
particular Fontignac item only between September 17, 2015
and January 20, 2016 (the Promotion Period), and as long as
quantities of that Fontignac item last.
2.4 Metro may replace, as indicated in paragraph 3.1 below,
the Fontignac items for which Fontignac Metro stickers may
be redeemed for an equal or better product and may reduce
the number of Fontignac Metro stickers or prices that are
required for redemption.
2.5 Customers should affix Fontignac Metro stickers on the
designated pages and spaces of their saver cards. The
stickers should be clearly separated from each other.

containing the number of stickers to be redeemed. The

2.7 A customer may, during the Promotion Period and
except as noted in paragraph 3.1 below, purchase any
Fontignac item that is displayed on a saver card by (i) paying
a participating Metro store the “Price without stickers”
without redeeming any Fontignac Metro Stickers, or (ii) the
“Price with stickers” for each item, such prices (if any)
indicated on the saver card, and redeeming the required
number of Fontignac Metro stickers (if any) as indicated on
the saver card for each item as applicable.
3. General
3.1 Metro may, in its sole discretion, at any time and from
time to time change these Terms and Conditions, any
information set out on a saver card and any other aspects of
its Fontignac Cutlery Promotion. These changes may
include, without limitation, the suspension or termination of
issuing Fontignac Metro stickers in the event of suspected
fraud, forgery, alteration, or otherwise suspicious
manipulation of the stickers, the time period when and the
locations where Fontignac Metro stickers may be collected,
the items for which stickers may be redeemed or which may
be purchased with or without stickers, and may reduce the
number of stickers that must be redeemed (and/or the
amount that must be paid with or without stickers) for a
particular item. Changes will be effective when posted at
participating Metro stores, at www.metro.ca, and on the
promotional website (www.fontignacpromotion.ca).

2.7 Un client peut, durant la période de promotion et à
l’exception de ce qui est indiqué au paragraphe 3.1 cidessous, faire l’achat de tout article Fontignac présenté sur
une carte de participation en (i) payant le « prix sans
autocollants », sans échanger aucun autocollant Metro
Fontignac, ou (ii) le « prix avec autocollants » pour chaque
article, prix (s’il y a lieu) qui est indiqué sur la carte de
participation, et en échangeant le nombre requis
d’autocollants Metro Fontignac applicable (s’il y a lieu), tel
qu’indiqué sur la carte de participation, pour chaque article,
selon le cas.
3.3 Metro will not be responsible for lost, stolen, damaged
or destroyed Fontignac Metro stickers or saver cards, and
will not replace them.
3. Généralités
3.1 Metro peut, à sa seule discrétion, à tout moment et de

3.4 Fontignac Metro stickers are not redeemable for cash.
They may not be sold or bartered. Metro may decline to
become involved in any dispute concerning the ownership of
any Fontignac Metro stickers or saver cards.

3.5 If a redemption item is out of stock or discontinued,
Metro reserves the right to replace the item with one of
equal or better value, such value to be determined at
Metro’s sole discretion.
3.6 Product warranty: the Fontignac items are covered with
a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase. A proof of
purchase (cash receipt from the participating Metro store) is
required. Products may be exchanged under the warranty at
participating Metro stores during the Promotion Period.
After the Promotion Period, details for returning the product
are available at www.fontignacpromotion.ca.

3.4 Les autocollants Metro Fontignac ne peuvent être

endommagés ou détruits, et ne les remplacera pas.
3.5 Si un article pour échange est en rupture de stock ou
indisponible, Metro se réserve le droit de remplacer cet
article par un article de valeur égale ou supérieure, valeur
qui sera déterminée à la seule discrétion de Metro.
3.6 Garantie du produit : les articles Fontignac sont couverts
par une garantie de 1 an à partir de la date d’achat. Une
preuve d’achat (coupon de caisse du détaillant Metro
participant) est requise. Les produits peuvent être échangés
sous garantie dans les détaillants Metro participants durant
