Information for Bus Driver
Dear Bus Driver
Our aim is that you have an unobstructed and easy travel
to Wismar. Therefore, we kindly ask you to recognize the
following information.
On your journey to Wismar you reach the city centre and the harbour only from
­southern direction (A20 / Schwerin B106) and from western direction (Lübeck B105).
The direction eastward (Rostock B105) is closed for vehicles 12 tons odd.
Our suggestion: Take the Autobahn A20 unto exit Wismar-Mitte (no. 8) and follow the
signposting to the city centre.
Busses with more than 10 meters length are not allowed to drive around the m
­ arket
place (Steigenberger Hotel Stadt Hamburg, Hotel Reuterhaus, Wismar ­Tourist
Board). There is no possibility for disembarkation and embarkation of passengers
around the market place.
Please, take use of the following alternatives for parking the bus. Further find a map
with the marked parking places on the back side.
■■ Parking place A in Dr.-Leber-Straße (central parking place), 6 slots for busses only,
5 minutes walking distance to the market place, no time limit for permanent parking
■■ Parking place B at the main bus terminal, 12 slots for busses, 15 minutes walking
distance to the market place, 5 minutes walking distance to the historic harbour,
no time limit for permanent parking
■■ Parking place C in Lübsche Straße / Weidendamm, 20 minutes walking distance to
the market place, 10 minutes walking distance to the historic harbour, no time limit
for permanent parking
We also kindly ask you to stop the engine as soon as possible and not to keep it running
unnecessarily. Watch your environment!
