GARANTIE
Für dieses Produkt wird eine Garantie für Rohmaterialfehler und Montagefehler gewährt; die Garantiezeit
unterliegt den gültigen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Paso repariert das garantierte Produkt kostenlos, wenn
sich herausstellt, dass der Defekt während des normalen Gebrauchs aufgetreten ist; die Garantie erstreckt sich
demnach nicht auf Produkte, die falsch gebraucht und installiert oder mechanisch, durch Flüssigkeiten oder
Umwelteinflüsse beschädigt wurden. Das defekte Produkt muss franco Versandkosten für den Hin- und
Rücktransport zu und von Paso gesendet werden. Diese Garantie schließt keine weiteren, expliziten oder
impliziten Leistungen und Folgeschäden an Personen, Gegenständen oder Unfälle ein. Bitte wenden Sie sich

Il modulo PM2025-V gestisce, sotto il controllo e la
supervisione operata dal modulo PM2021-V,
l’instradamento dei segnali di emergenza verso gli
amplificatori e il controllo del microfono d'emergenza.
In condizioni di normale funzionamento (non in
emergenza) il segnale presente all'ingresso (11)
verrà riportato fedelmente alle uscite (8) e (9).
In condizioni d'emergenza, i segnali VES verranno
prelevati dal bus del sistema ed instradati in modo
opportuno alle uscite (8) e (9), che saranno a loro
volta collegate all'amplificatore.

Under the control and supervision of the PM2021-V
module, the PM2025-V module manages routing of
the emergency signals towards the amplifiers and
control of the emergency microphone.
In normal operating conditions (when there is no
emergency) the signal on the input (11) will be
sent exactly as it is to outputs (8) and (9). In
emergency conditions, the VES signals will be taken
from the system bus and suitably routed to outputs
(8) and (9), which will be connected in turn to the
amplifier.

door de geldende wettelijke voorschriften. Paso voert de reparatie van de hier gegarandeerde defecte
producten kosteloos uit, indien blijkt dat het defect tijdens normaal gebruik is opgetreden. De garantie
heeft dus geen betrekking op verkeerd gebruikte of geïnstalleerde producten, producten die mechanisch
beschadigd zijn of beschadigingen hebben opgelopen door vloeistoffen of de invloed van
weersomstandigheden. Producten waarbij een defect is geconstateerd dienen franco verzend- en
retourkosten aan Paso opgestuurd te worden. Deze garantie omvat geen enkele andere expliciete of
impliciete garantie en dekt geen schade aan personen of zaken. Voor verdere informatie over de garantie
dient contact opgenomen te worden met de dichtstbijzijnde PASO distributeur.

CONNESSIONI
Per la connessione del modulo PM2025-V,
effettuare le operazioni di seguito riportate:
1) collegare il segnale proveniente dal canale PA
del sistema (ad esempio l'uscita del modulo
PM2040-B) all'ingresso UNBAL. PA IN (11).

1) Connect the signal from the system's PA channel
(e.g. output from the PM2040-B module) to the
UNBAL. PA IN input (11).

3) collegare l’uscita dell’amplificatore all’ingresso
del controllore di linea PM2006-V, alle cui
uscite andranno quindi connesse le linee
altoparlanti.
4) inserire il connettore del microfono d’emergenza
nella presa XLR EMERG. MIC. (4) posta sul
pannello frontale del modulo.
5) agganciare il microfono nell’apposito vano del
pannello di supporto, posizionato a lato
dell’alimentatore.
3) Connect the output from the amplifier to the
input of the PM2006-V line controller, to the
outputs of which the loudspeaker lines must
subsequently be connected.
4) Plug the emergency microphone connector into
the XLR EMERG. MIC. socket (4) on the front
panel of the module.
5) Hook the microphone into its compartment in
the supporting panel, next to the power supply.

FUNZIONAMENTO
OPERATION
3.1 Modalità MANUALE
Tramite il modulo PM2025-V è possibile inviare
messaggi preregistrati d’evacuazione, allerta e
messaggi vocali d'emergenza, tramite l’apposito
microfono. Per fare questo, procedere come di
seguito indicato.
1. Mettere in stato di emergenza (pre-allarme) il
sistema, premendo il tasto EMERGENCY (1): il
led rosso inizierà a lampeggiare e verranno
immediatamente eliminati tutti i segnali presenti
all’ingresso (11). Il sistema attende ora una
ulteriore decisione dell’operatore.
2. Premere EVAC (2) per inviare il messaggio
preregistrato di evacuazione o ALERT (5) per
inviare quello di allerta: il led rosso relativo alla
scelta effettuata si illumina in modo fisso ed
anche il led EMERGENCY rimane acceso ad
indicare lo stato d’emergenza in corso. Durante
l’emissione del messaggio, è possibile ripremere
EVAC o ALERT: in questo modo, lo stato
d’emergenza permane e sarà possibile cambiare
il tipo di messaggio inviato. Per tornare alla
normale operatività, è sufficiente premere
nuovamente il tasto EMERGENCY.
3. Nel caso si volesse invece inviare un messaggio
vocale, sganciare il microfono controllato dal
supporto e - in stato d’emergenza (pre-allarme)
- premere il tasto di attivazione (12) e
mantenerlo premuto durante l’annuncio: il led
rosso MIC. ON si accende.
Nota: il microfono d’emergenza ha priorità su TUTTI
i messaggi preregistrati.
3.1 MANUAL mode
The PM2025-V module can be used to send prerecorded evacuation and warning messages or
emergency voice messages, by means of the
microphone provided for this purpose. To do this,
proceed as follows:
1. Place the system in the emergency mode (alert)
by pressing the EMERGENCY key (1): the red
LED will start to flash and all the signals on the
input (11) will immediately be eliminated . The
system will then wait for further action by the
operator.
2. Press EVAC (2) to send the pre-recorded
evacuation message or the ALERT key (5) to
send the alert message. The red LED
corresponding to the option selected will light up
steadily and the EMERGENCY LED will also
remain on to indicate the existing state of
emergency. It is possible to press EVAC or ALERT
again while the message is being sent out. In this
way the state of emergency will persist and it will
be possible to change the type of message being
sent out. To return to normal operation simply
press the EMERGENCY key again.
3. On the other hand, to send a voice message
unhook the controlled microphone from its
support and - in the emergency mode (alert) press the activation key (12) and hold it down
while making the announcement. The red MIC.
ON LED will illuminate.
Note: The emergency microphone has priority over
ALL pre-recorded messages.
3.2 Modalità AUTOMATICA
Qualora da un contatto esterno collegato al modulo
PM2093-VL venga attivato lo stato d'emergenza
(ad esempio da una centralina antincendio), il
microfono d'emergenza avrà in ogni caso la priorità
su di esso. Lo stato d’emergenza verrà annullato al
termine del messaggio vocale.
3.2 AUTOMATIC mode
If the state of emergency is activated by an external
contact connected to the PM2093-VL module (e.g.
from a fire-fighting control unit), the emergency
microphone will in any case have priority over it.
The state of emergency will be reset as soon as the
voice message ends.

Europea 2002/96/EC Alla fine della sua vita utile il prodotto non deve essere smaltito
insieme ai rifiuti urbani, ma deve essere consegnato presso gli appositi centri di raccolta
differenziata predisposti dalle amministrazioni comunali, oppure presso i rivenditori che forniscono
questo servizio. Smaltire separatamente un rifiuto elettrico e/o elettronico (RAEE) consente di
evitare possibili conseguenze negative per l’ambiente e per la salute derivanti da un suo
smaltimento inadeguato e permette di recuperare i materiali di cui è composto al fine di ottenere
un importante risparmio di energia e di risorse. Su ciascun prodotto è riportato a questo scopo
il marchio del contenitore di spazzatura barrato.
Important information for correct disposal of the product in accordance with EC Directive
2002/96/EC This product must not be disposed of as urban waste at the end of its working life. It must be
taken to a special waste collection centre licensed by the local authorities or to a dealer providing this service.
Separate disposal of electric and/or electronic equipment (WEEE) will avoid possible negative consequences for
the environment and for health resulting from inappropriate disposal, and will enable the constituent materials to
be recovered, with significant savings in energy and resources. As a reminder of the need to dispose of this
equipment separately, the product is marked with a crossed-out wheeled dustbin.

2002/96/EC Au terme de son utilisation, le produit ne doit pas être éliminé avec les déchets urbains. L'appareil
doit être remis à l'un des centres de tri sélectif agréés par l'administration communale ou à un revendeur assurant
ce service. L'élimination différenciée des appareils électroniques (WEEE) permet non seulement d'éviter les
retombées négatives pour l'environnement et la santé dues à une élimination incorrecte, mais aussi de récupérer
les matériaux qui le composent et permet ainsi d'effectuer d'importantes économies en termes d'énergie et de
ressources. Pour rappeler l'obligation d'éliminer séparément les appareils électroniques, le produit porte le symbole
d'un caisson à ordures barré.

mögliche negative Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und die Gesundheit infolge einer nicht vorschriftsmäßigen
Entsorgung. Zudem wird die Wiederverwertung der Materialen, aus denen das Gerät besteht, ermöglicht, so dass
eine bedeutende Einsparung an Energie und Ressourcen erzielt wird. Aus diesem Grund ist das Produkt mit dem
Symbol einer durchgestrichenen Mülltonne gekennzeichnet.

apparatuur te wijzen, is op het product het symbool van een doorgekruiste vuilnisbak aangebracht.

Para subrayar la obligación de eliminar por separado el aparato, en el producto aparece un contenedor de basura
móvil listado.

3.3 Segnalazione sonora dei guasti
All'interno del modulo è presente un buzzer per la
segnalazione sonora dei guasti di sistema. Se nel
sistema si verifica un guasto, oltre all'accensione del
relativo led sul modulo PM2093-VL, un ‘beep’
viene emesso dal modulo PM2025-V. Premendo il
tasto ACK (3) il buzzer verrà ammutolito fino al
manifestarsi di un eventuale nuovo guasto. Il tasto
RESET (6) azzera tutti i guasti. É possibile
ammutolire in modo definitivo il buzzer posizionando
il jumper (7) come indicato nella grafica sul pannello
posteriore del modulo: questo può risultare
temporaneamente necessario, ad esempio, durante
la fase d'installazione dell'impianto, per evitare che il
suono ripetuto possa risultare fastidioso.
3.3 Acoustic signalling of failures
There is a buzzer inside the module for acoustic
signalling of system failures. If a failure occurs in
the system, in addition to the appropriate LED
lighting up on the PM2093-VL module, a 'beep'
will be sounded by the PM2025-V module. On
pressing the ACK (3) key, the buzzer will be reset
until another failure occurs, if any. The RESET key
(6) resets all failure signals. It is possible to mute the
buzzer permanently by positioning the jumper (7)
as shown in the diagram on the rear panel of the
module: this may be necessary as a temporary
measure, for example while installing the system, to
prevent the annoyance of repeated buzzing.
3.4 Relè d’emergenza

Tramite un trimmer interno (P101, mostrato in
figura) è possibile regolare il livello di volume del
microfono d'emergenza. Si ricorda peraltro che
l’impostazione di fabbrica rappresenta il valore
consigliato.

3.3 Geluidssignalering bij storingen
Binnenin de module zit een buzzer voor het signaleren
van storingen in het systeem. Als zich in het systeem
een storing voordoet, gaat niet alleen de betreffende
led op de module PM2093-VL branden, maar
wordt er ook een 'beep'-toon door de module
PM2025-V voortgebracht. Door op de toets ACK
(3) te drukken, wordt de buzzer uitgesloten totdat
zich een nieuwe storing voordoet. De toets RESET
(6) stelt alle storingen weer op nul. De buzzer kan
definitief worden uitgesloten door de jumper (7) op
de stand te brengen zoals aangegeven in de grafiek
op het achterpaneel van de module: dit kan tijdelijk
noodzakelijk zijn, bijvoorbeeld tijdens de installatie
van het systeem, om te vermijden dat het
voortdurend herhaalde geluid storend wordt.
3.3 Señalización sonora de las averías
Dentro del módulo hay un zumbador para la
señalización sonora de las averías de sistema. Si en
el sistema se produce una avería, además del
encendido del correspondiente LED en el módulo
PM2093-VL, es emitido un beep por el módulo
PM2025-V. Pulsando la tecla ACK (3) se calla el
zumbador hasta que se presente una eventual nueva
avería. La tecla RESET (6) poner a cero todas las
averías. Es posible callar definitivamente el zumbador
colocando el puente (7) como indicado en el gráfico
en el panel trasero del módulo: esto puede ser
temporalmente necesario, por ejemplo, durante la
fase de instalación del sistema, para evitar que el
sonido repetido sea molesto.
3.4 Noodrelais
De module PM2025-V is bovendien uitgerust met
een noodrelais EMERG. RELAY (10), die automatisch
geactiveerd wordt wanneer het systeem zich in een
toestand van vooralarm bevindt. Dit relais kan
eventueel gebruikt worden voor een signalering op
afstand van de toestand van het systeem (zie
voorbeeld).
3.4 Relé de emergencia

3.5 Instellingen
Door middel van een interne trimmer, zie afbeelding,
kan het volumeniveau van de noodmicrofoon
worden geregeld. Overigens wordt hierbij gewezen
op het feit dat de aanbevolen waarde al in de fabriek
is ingesteld.

mostrado en la figura, es posible ajustar el nivel de
volumen del micrófono de emergencia. Por otra

3) Sluit de uitgang van de versterker aan op de
ingang van de lijnbesturing PM2006-V: op de
uitgangen van deze laatste moeten dus de
versterkerslijnen worden aangesloten.
4) Steek de connector van de noodmicrofoon in de
bus XLR EMERG. MIC. (4) op het frontpaneel
van de module.
5) Zet de microfoon vast in het speciale vak van
het steunpaneel naast de voedingsdoos.

3.
WERKING
3.1 HANDMATIG
Via de module PM2025-V kunnen met de speciale
microfoon vooraf opgenomen ontruimings-, alarmen omroepberichten worden verzonden. Hiertoe
dient gehandeld te worden als volgt.
1. Breng het systeem in de noodtoestand
(vooralarm) door op de toets EMERGENCY
(1) te drukken: de rode led gaat knipperen en
alle op de ingang (11) aanwezige signalen zullen
onmiddellijk worden geëlimineerd. Het systeem
wacht nu op de volgende beslissing van de
bediener.
2. Druk op EVAC (2) om het vooraf opgenomen
ontruimingsbericht uit te zenden of op ALERT
(5) om het alarmbericht uit te zenden: de rode
led die betrekking heeft op het gekozen bericht
gaat branden en ook de led EMERGENCY blijft
branden om aan te geven dat er een noodtoestand
aan de gang is. Tijdens de uitzending van het
bericht kan opnieuw op EVAC of ALERT worden
gedrukt: op deze manier blijft de noodtoestand
geactiveerd en kan het soort te versturen bericht
worden gewijzigd. Om terug te keren naar een
normaal bedrijf hoeft alleen weer op de toets
EMERGENCY gedrukt te worden.
3. Indien men echter een gesproken bericht zou willen
uitzenden, moet de microfoon van de steun gehaald
worden en - in de noodtoestand (vooralarm) - de
activeringstoets (12) ingedrukt worden en
ingedrukt worden gehouden tijdens het
omroepen: de rode led MIC. ON gaat branden.
Noot: de noodmicrofoon heeft voorrang op ALLE
vooraf opgenomen berichten.
3.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
3.1 Modalidad MANUAL
A través del módulo PM2025-V es posible enviar
mensajes grabados de evacuación y alerta y
mensajes vocales de emergencia, utilizando el
micrófono idóneo. Para ello proceder como
indicado a continuación.
1. Poner en estado de emergencia (pre-alarma) el
sistema, pulsando la tecla EMERGENCY (1): el
LED rojo empieza a parpadear y son eliminadas
inmediatamente todas las señales presentes en la
entrada (11). El sistema esperar ahora una
ulterior decisión del operador.
2. Pulsar EVAC (2) para enviar el mensaje grabado
de evacuación o ALERT (5) para enviar él de
alerta: el LED rojo correspondiente a la elección
efectuada se enciende de manera fija y también
el LED EMERGENCY queda encendido para
indicar el estado de emergencia en curso. Durante
la emisión del mensaje es posible pulsar de nuevo
EVAC o ALERT: de esta manera, el estado de
emergencia permanece y es posible cambiar el
tipo de mensaje enviado. Para volver al
funcionamiento normal basta pulsar de nuevo
la tecla EMERGENCY.
3. Si al contrario se desea enviar un mensaje vocal,
desenganchar el micrófono controlado del
soporte y - en estado de emergencia (prealarma) - pulsar la tecla de activación (12) y
mantenerla pulsada durante el anuncio: el LED
rojo MIC. ON se enciende.
Nota: el micrófono de emergencia tiene la prioridad
respecto a TODOS los mensajes grabados.
3.2 AUTOMATISCH
Indien door een extern op de module PM2093-VL
aangesloten contact een noodtoestand wordt
ingeschakeld, (bijvoorbeeld door een brandbeveiligingscentrale), heeft de microfoon in ieder geval
voorrang daarop. De noodtoestand zal zodra het
bericht is omgeroepen uitgeschakeld worden.
3.2 Modalidad AUTOMATICA
Si a través de un contacto exterior conectado con el
módulo PM2093-VL se activa el estado de
emergencia (por ejemplo desde una centralita
antiincendio), el micrófono de emergencia tendrá
siempre la prioridad sobre dicho contacto. El estado
de emergencia es anulado al final del mensaje vocal.

3.
FONCTIONNEMENT
3.1 Mode MANUALE
Le module PM2025-V permet d'envoyer des
messages préenregistrés d'évacuation, d'alerte et des
messages vocaux d'urgence à l'aide du microphone
prévu à cet effet. Pour ce faire, procéder comme
cela est indiqué ci-après :
1. Placer le système en état d'urgence (pré-alarme)
en appuyant sur la touche EMERGENCY (1): la
diode électroluminescente rouge commencera
à clignoter et tous les signaux présents à l'entrée
(11) seront immédiatement éliminés. Le système
attend ensuite la décision que prendra l'opérateur.
2. Appuyer sur EVAC (2) pour envoyer le message
préenregistré d'évacuation ou bien sur ALERT
(5) pour envoyer le message préenregistré
d'alerte: la diode électroluminescente rouge
correspondant au choix effectué reste allumée
ainsi que la diode électroluminescente
EMERGENCY indiquant que l'état d'urgence est
en cours. Pendant l'émission du message, il est
possible d'appuyer de nouveau sur EVAC ou
ALERT: ceci a pour effet de prolonger l'état
d'urgence et de permettre de changer le type
de message envoyé. Pour revenir au mode de
fonctionnement normal, il suffit d'appuyer de
nouveau sur la touche EMERGENCY.
3. Pour envoyer par contre un message vocal,
décrocher le microphone contrôlé du support
et - dans l'état d'urgence (pré-alarme) - appuyer
sur la touche d'activation (12) et la tenir appuyée
pendant l'annonce : la diode électroluminescente
rouge MIC. ON s'allume.
Note: le microphone d'urgence a la priorité sur
TOUS les messages préenregistrés.
3.
BETRIEB
3.1 MANUELLER Modus
Mit Hilfe des Moduls PM2025-V können
aufgezeichnete Evakuationsdurchsagen, Alarmmeldungen oder Sprachdurchsagen mit dem
entsprechenden Mikrofon gesendet werden. Hierfür
müssen Sie wie folgt vorgehen:
1. Setzen Sie das System in den Notfallzustand
(Voralarm), indem sie die Taste EMERGENCY
(1) drücken: Die rote LED beginnt zu blinken
und es werden sofort alle am Eingang (11)
vorhandenen Signale gelöscht. Das System
wartet jetzt auf eine Entscheidung des Bedieners.
2. Drücken Sie EVAC (2), um die aufgezeichnete
Evakuationsmeldung zu senden oder ALERT
(5), um die Alarmmeldung zu senden: Die rote
LED der betätigten Taste beginnt stetig zu
leuchten und auch die LED EMERGENCY
leuchtet weiter, um anzuzeigen, dass ein
Notzustand vorliegt. Während der Durchgabe
der Meldung können die Tasten EVAC oder
ALERT erneut betätigt werden: Auf diese Weise
bleibt der Notzustand bestehen und es besteht
die Möglichkeit, die Art der gesendeten Meldung
zu ändern. Es muss lediglich erneut die Taste
EMERGENCY gedrückt werden, um zum
normalen Betrieb zurückzukehren.
3. Falls Sie hingegen eine Sprachdurchsage senden
wollen, nehmen Sie das gesteuerte Mikrofon von
der Aufhängevorrichtung ab und drücken Sie im
Fall eines Notzustands (Voralarm) die
Aktivierungstaste (12); halten Sie die Taste
während der Durchsage gedrückt: die rote LED
MIC. ON beginnt zu leuchten.
Anmerkung: Das Notfallmikrofon hat Vorrang vor
ALLEN aufgezeichneten Meldungen.
3.2 Mode AUTOMATIQUE
Lorsque l'état d'urgence est activé par un contact
externe relié au module PM2093-VL (par exemple
par une centrale anti-incendie), le microphone
d'urgence aura dans tous les cas la priorité sur celuici. L'état d'urgence sera annulé à la fin de la
transmission du message vocal.
3.2 AUTOMATISCHER Modus
Falls der Notfallzustand von einem externen, an das
Modul PM2093-VL angeschlossenen Kontakt
ausgelöst wird (z. B. von einer Brandschutzzentrale),
hat das Notfalltelefon auf jeden Fall Vorrang vor
diesem Kontakt. Der Notfallzustand wird am Ende
der Sprachdurchsage annulliert.

3.3 Signal sonore d'indication des pannes
Un buzzer est présent dans le module afin d'indiquer
par un signal sonore les pannes du système.
Lorsqu'une panne se produit dans le système, non
seulement la diode électroluminescente présente sur
le module PM2093-VL s'allume mais un bip sonore
est également émis par le module PM2025-V.
Appuyer sur la touche ACK (3) pour arrêter le buzzer
qui restera silencieux jusqu'à la manifestation de la
prochaine panne. La touche RESET (6) annule
toutes les pannes. Il est possible de rendre le buzzer
définitivement silencieux en plaçant le pontet (7)
comme cela est indiqué sur le schéma reporté sur le
panneau arrière du module : ceci peut être
temporairement utile, notamment lors de la phase
d'installation, afin d'éviter la gêne due à l'émission
d'un son répété.
3.3 Tonmeldung von Schäden
Im Innern des Moduls ist ein Summer für die
Tonmeldung von Systemschäden vorhanden. Falls
im System ein Schaden auftritt ertönt zusätzlich zum
Aufleuchten der entsprechenden LED am Modul
PM2093-VL ein Piepton des Moduls PM2025-V.
Bei Drücken der Taste ACK (3) wird der Summer
stumm gestellt, bis ein neuer Schaden auftritt. Die
Taste RESET (6) setzt alle Schäden zurück auf Null.
Der Summer kann definitiv stumm geschaltet
werden, indem der Jumper (7) wie in der Abbildung
an der Rückseite angegeben eingestellt wird: Dies
kann vorübergehend erforderlich sein, z. B.
während der Installation der Anlage, um das Stören
des sich wiederholenden Geräuschs zu vermeiden.
3.4 Relais d'urgence
Le module PM2025-V est également équipé d'un
relais d'urgence EMERG. RELAY (10) qui est
automatiquement activé lorsque le système est en
état de pré-alarme. Ce relais peut également être
utilisé pour signaler à distance l'état du système (voir
exemple).

3.3 Signal sonore d'indication des pannes
Un buzzer est présent dans le module afin d'indiquer
par un signal sonore les pannes du système.
Lorsqu'une panne se produit dans le système, non
seulement la diode électroluminescente présente sur
le module PM2093-VL s'allume mais un bip sonore
est également émis par le module PM2025-V.
Appuyer sur la touche ACK (3) pour arrêter le buzzer
qui restera silencieux jusqu'à la manifestation de la
prochaine panne. La touche RESET (6) annule
toutes les pannes. Il est possible de rendre le buzzer
définitivement silencieux en plaçant le pontet (7)
comme cela est indiqué sur le schéma reporté sur le
panneau arrière du module : ceci peut être
temporairement utile, notamment lors de la phase
d'installation, afin d'éviter la gêne due à l'émission
d'un son répété.
3.3 Tonmeldung von Schäden
Im Innern des Moduls ist ein Summer für die
Tonmeldung von Systemschäden vorhanden. Falls
im System ein Schaden auftritt ertönt zusätzlich zum
Aufleuchten der entsprechenden LED am Modul
PM2093-VL ein Piepton des Moduls PM2025-V.
Bei Drücken der Taste ACK (3) wird der Summer
stumm gestellt, bis ein neuer Schaden auftritt. Die
Taste RESET (6) setzt alle Schäden zurück auf Null.
Der Summer kann definitiv stumm geschaltet
werden, indem der Jumper (7) wie in der Abbildung
an der Rückseite angegeben eingestellt wird: Dies
kann vorübergehend erforderlich sein, z. B.
während der Installation der Anlage, um das Stören
des sich wiederholenden Geräuschs zu vermeiden.
3.4 Relais d'urgence
Le module PM2025-V est également équipé d'un
relais d'urgence EMERG. RELAY (10) qui est
automatiquement activé lorsque le système est en
état de pré-alarme. Ce relais peut également être
utilisé pour signaler à distance l'état du système (voir
exemple).
3.4 Notfallrelais
Das Modul PM2025-V besitzt außerdem das
Notfallrelais EMERG. RELAY (10), das sich
automatisch aktiviert, wenn sich das System im
Zustand Voralarm befindet. Dieses Relais kann für
eine eventuell erforderliche Fernmeldung des
Systemszustands verwendet werden (s. Beispiel).

distribución de las señales de emergencia hacia los
amplificadores y el control del micrófono de
emergencia. En condiciones de funcionamiento

son tomadas del bus del sistema y son enviadas de

3.
FONCTIONNEMENT
3.1 Mode MANUALE
Le module PM2025-V permet d'envoyer des
messages préenregistrés d'évacuation, d'alerte et des
messages vocaux d'urgence à l'aide du microphone
prévu à cet effet. Pour ce faire, procéder comme
cela est indiqué ci-après :
1. Placer le système en état d'urgence (pré-alarme)
en appuyant sur la touche EMERGENCY (1): la
diode électroluminescente rouge commencera
à clignoter et tous les signaux présents à l'entrée
(11) seront immédiatement éliminés. Le système
attend ensuite la décision que prendra l'opérateur.
2. Appuyer sur EVAC (2) pour envoyer le message
préenregistré d'évacuation ou bien sur ALERT
(5) pour envoyer le message préenregistré
d'alerte: la diode électroluminescente rouge
correspondant au choix effectué reste allumée
ainsi que la diode électroluminescente
EMERGENCY indiquant que l'état d'urgence est
en cours. Pendant l'émission du message, il est
possible d'appuyer de nouveau sur EVAC ou
ALERT: ceci a pour effet de prolonger l'état
d'urgence et de permettre de changer le type
de message envoyé. Pour revenir au mode de
fonctionnement normal, il suffit d'appuyer de
nouveau sur la touche EMERGENCY.
3. Pour envoyer par contre un message vocal,
décrocher le microphone contrôlé du support
et - dans l'état d'urgence (pré-alarme) - appuyer
sur la touche d'activation (12) et la tenir appuyée
pendant l'annonce : la diode électroluminescente
rouge MIC. ON s'allume.
Note: le microphone d'urgence a la priorité sur
TOUS les messages préenregistrés.
3.
BETRIEB
3.1 MANUELLER Modus
Mit Hilfe des Moduls PM2025-V können
aufgezeichnete Evakuationsdurchsagen, Alarmmeldungen oder Sprachdurchsagen mit dem
entsprechenden Mikrofon gesendet werden. Hierfür
müssen Sie wie folgt vorgehen:
1. Setzen Sie das System in den Notfallzustand
(Voralarm), indem sie die Taste EMERGENCY
(1) drücken: Die rote LED beginnt zu blinken
und es werden sofort alle am Eingang (11)
vorhandenen Signale gelöscht. Das System
wartet jetzt auf eine Entscheidung des Bedieners.
2. Drücken Sie EVAC (2), um die aufgezeichnete
Evakuationsmeldung zu senden oder ALERT
(5), um die Alarmmeldung zu senden: Die rote
LED der betätigten Taste beginnt stetig zu
leuchten und auch die LED EMERGENCY
leuchtet weiter, um anzuzeigen, dass ein
Notzustand vorliegt. Während der Durchgabe
der Meldung können die Tasten EVAC oder
ALERT erneut betätigt werden: Auf diese Weise
bleibt der Notzustand bestehen und es besteht
die Möglichkeit, die Art der gesendeten Meldung
zu ändern. Es muss lediglich erneut die Taste
EMERGENCY gedrückt werden, um zum
normalen Betrieb zurückzukehren.
3. Falls Sie hingegen eine Sprachdurchsage senden
wollen, nehmen Sie das gesteuerte Mikrofon von
der Aufhängevorrichtung ab und drücken Sie im
Fall eines Notzustands (Voralarm) die
Aktivierungstaste (12); halten Sie die Taste
während der Durchsage gedrückt: die rote LED
MIC. ON beginnt zu leuchten.
Anmerkung: Das Notfallmikrofon hat Vorrang vor
ALLEN aufgezeichneten Meldungen.
3.2 Mode AUTOMATIQUE
Lorsque l'état d'urgence est activé par un contact
externe relié au module PM2093-VL (par exemple
par une centrale anti-incendie), le microphone
d'urgence aura dans tous les cas la priorité sur celuici. L'état d'urgence sera annulé à la fin de la
transmission du message vocal.
3.2 AUTOMATISCHER Modus
Falls der Notfallzustand von einem externen, an das
Modul PM2093-VL angeschlossenen Kontakt
ausgelöst wird (z. B. von einer Brandschutzzentrale),
hat das Notfalltelefon auf jeden Fall Vorrang vor
diesem Kontakt. Der Notfallzustand wird am Ende
der Sprachdurchsage annulliert.

3) Sluit de uitgang van de versterker aan op de
ingang van de lijnbesturing PM2006-V: op de
uitgangen van deze laatste moeten dus de
versterkerslijnen worden aangesloten.
4) Steek de connector van de noodmicrofoon in de
bus XLR EMERG. MIC. (4) op het frontpaneel
van de module.
5) Zet de microfoon vast in het speciale vak van
het steunpaneel naast de voedingsdoos.

3.
WERKING
3.1 HANDMATIG
Via de module PM2025-V kunnen met de speciale
microfoon vooraf opgenomen ontruimings-, alarmen omroepberichten worden verzonden. Hiertoe
dient gehandeld te worden als volgt.
1. Breng het systeem in de noodtoestand
(vooralarm) door op de toets EMERGENCY
(1) te drukken: de rode led gaat knipperen en
alle op de ingang (11) aanwezige signalen zullen
onmiddellijk worden geëlimineerd. Het systeem
wacht nu op de volgende beslissing van de
bediener.
2. Druk op EVAC (2) om het vooraf opgenomen
ontruimingsbericht uit te zenden of op ALERT
(5) om het alarmbericht uit te zenden: de rode
led die betrekking heeft op het gekozen bericht
gaat branden en ook de led EMERGENCY blijft
branden om aan te geven dat er een noodtoestand
aan de gang is. Tijdens de uitzending van het
bericht kan opnieuw op EVAC of ALERT worden
gedrukt: op deze manier blijft de noodtoestand
geactiveerd en kan het soort te versturen bericht
worden gewijzigd. Om terug te keren naar een
normaal bedrijf hoeft alleen weer op de toets
EMERGENCY gedrukt te worden.
3. Indien men echter een gesproken bericht zou willen
uitzenden, moet de microfoon van de steun gehaald
worden en - in de noodtoestand (vooralarm) - de
activeringstoets (12) ingedrukt worden en
ingedrukt worden gehouden tijdens het
omroepen: de rode led MIC. ON gaat branden.
Noot: de noodmicrofoon heeft voorrang op ALLE
vooraf opgenomen berichten.
3.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
3.1 Modalidad MANUAL
A través del módulo PM2025-V es posible enviar
mensajes grabados de evacuación y alerta y
mensajes vocales de emergencia, utilizando el
micrófono idóneo. Para ello proceder como
indicado a continuación.
1. Poner en estado de emergencia (pre-alarma) el
sistema, pulsando la tecla EMERGENCY (1): el
LED rojo empieza a parpadear y son eliminadas
inmediatamente todas las señales presentes en la
entrada (11). El sistema esperar ahora una
ulterior decisión del operador.
2. Pulsar EVAC (2) para enviar el mensaje grabado
de evacuación o ALERT (5) para enviar él de
alerta: el LED rojo correspondiente a la elección
efectuada se enciende de manera fija y también
el LED EMERGENCY queda encendido para
indicar el estado de emergencia en curso. Durante
la emisión del mensaje es posible pulsar de nuevo
EVAC o ALERT: de esta manera, el estado de
emergencia permanece y es posible cambiar el
tipo de mensaje enviado. Para volver al
funcionamiento normal basta pulsar de nuevo
la tecla EMERGENCY.
3. Si al contrario se desea enviar un mensaje vocal,
desenganchar el micrófono controlado del
soporte y - en estado de emergencia (prealarma) - pulsar la tecla de activación (12) y
mantenerla pulsada durante el anuncio: el LED
rojo MIC. ON se enciende.
Nota: el micrófono de emergencia tiene la prioridad
respecto a TODOS los mensajes grabados.
3.2 AUTOMATISCH
Indien door een extern op de module PM2093-VL
aangesloten contact een noodtoestand wordt
ingeschakeld, (bijvoorbeeld door een brandbeveiligingscentrale), heeft de microfoon in ieder geval
voorrang daarop. De noodtoestand zal zodra het
bericht is omgeroepen uitgeschakeld worden.
3.2 Modalidad AUTOMATICA
Si a través de un contacto exterior conectado con el
módulo PM2093-VL se activa el estado de
emergencia (por ejemplo desde una centralita
antiincendio), el micrófono de emergencia tendrá
siempre la prioridad sobre dicho contacto. El estado
de emergencia es anulado al final del mensaje vocal.

3.3 Geluidssignalering bij storingen
Binnenin de module zit een buzzer voor het signaleren
van storingen in het systeem. Als zich in het systeem
een storing voordoet, gaat niet alleen de betreffende
led op de module PM2093-VL branden, maar
wordt er ook een 'beep'-toon door de module
PM2025-V voortgebracht. Door op de toets ACK
(3) te drukken, wordt de buzzer uitgesloten totdat

3.3 Señalización sonora de las averías
Dentro del módulo hay un zumbador para la
señalización sonora de las averías de sistema. Si en
el sistema se produce una avería, además del
encendido del correspondiente LED en el módulo
PM2093-VL, es emitido un beep por el módulo
PM2025-V. Pulsando la tecla ACK (3) se calla el
zumbador hasta que se presente una eventual nueva
avería. La tecla RESET (6) poner a cero todas las
averías. Es posible callar definitivamente el zumbador
colocando el puente (7) como indicado en el gráfico
en el panel trasero del módulo: esto puede ser
temporalmente necesario, por ejemplo, durante la
fase de instalación del sistema, para evitar que el
sonido repetido sea molesto.
3.4 Noodrelais
De module PM2025-V is bovendien uitgerust met
een noodrelais EMERG. RELAY (10), die automatisch
geactiveerd wordt wanneer het systeem zich in een
toestand van vooralarm bevindt. Dit relais kan
eventueel gebruikt worden voor een signalering op
afstand van de toestand van het systeem (zie
voorbeeld).

3.3 Segnalazione sonora dei guasti
All'interno del modulo è presente un buzzer per la
segnalazione sonora dei guasti di sistema. Se nel
sistema si verifica un guasto, oltre all'accensione del
relativo led sul modulo PM2093-VL, un ‘beep’
viene emesso dal modulo PM2025-V. Premendo il
tasto ACK (3) il buzzer verrà ammutolito fino al
manifestarsi di un eventuale nuovo guasto. Il tasto
RESET (6) azzera tutti i guasti. É possibile
ammutolire in modo definitivo il buzzer posizionando
il jumper (7) come indicato nella grafica sul pannello
posteriore del modulo: questo può risultare
temporaneamente necessario, ad esempio, durante
la fase d'installazione dell'impianto, per evitare che il
suono ripetuto possa risultare fastidioso.
3.3 Acoustic signalling of failures
There is a buzzer inside the module for acoustic
signalling of system failures. If a failure occurs in
the system, in addition to the appropriate LED
lighting up on the PM2093-VL module, a 'beep'
will be sounded by the PM2025-V module. On
pressing the ACK (3) key, the buzzer will be reset
until another failure occurs, if any. The RESET key
(6) resets all failure signals. It is possible to mute the
buzzer permanently by positioning the jumper (7)
as shown in the diagram on the rear panel of the
module: this may be necessary as a temporary
measure, for example while installing the system, to
prevent the annoyance of repeated buzzing.
3.4 Relè d’emergenza

d’emergenza EMERG. RELAY (10), che si attiva
automaticamente quando il sistema è in stato di preallarme. Questo relé può essere utilizzato per una

3.4 Emergency relay
The PM2025-V module also has an emergency
relay EMERG. RELAY (10), which is activated
automatically when the system is in a state of alert.
This relay can be used, if required, for remote
signalling of the state of the system (see example).
3.5 Regolazioni
Tramite un trimmer interno (P101, mostrato in
figura) è possibile regolare il livello di volume del
microfono d'emergenza. Si ricorda peraltro che
l’impostazione di fabbrica rappresenta il valore
consigliato.

Using an internal trimmer (P101, shown in the
figure) it is possible to adjust the volume of the
emergency microphone. It should be remembered,
however, that the factory setting is the
recommended level.

FUNZIONAMENTO
OPERATION
3.1 Modalità MANUALE
Tramite il modulo PM2025-V è possibile inviare
messaggi preregistrati d’evacuazione, allerta e
messaggi vocali d'emergenza, tramite l’apposito
microfono. Per fare questo, procedere come di
seguito indicato.
1. Mettere in stato di emergenza (pre-allarme) il
sistema, premendo il tasto EMERGENCY (1): il
led rosso inizierà a lampeggiare e verranno
immediatamente eliminati tutti i segnali presenti
all’ingresso (11). Il sistema attende ora una
ulteriore decisione dell’operatore.
2. Premere EVAC (2) per inviare il messaggio
preregistrato di evacuazione o ALERT (5) per
inviare quello di allerta: il led rosso relativo alla
scelta effettuata si illumina in modo fisso ed
anche il led EMERGENCY rimane acceso ad
indicare lo stato d’emergenza in corso. Durante
l’emissione del messaggio, è possibile ripremere
EVAC o ALERT: in questo modo, lo stato
d’emergenza permane e sarà possibile cambiare
il tipo di messaggio inviato. Per tornare alla
normale operatività, è sufficiente premere
nuovamente il tasto EMERGENCY.
3. Nel caso si volesse invece inviare un messaggio
vocale, sganciare il microfono controllato dal
supporto e - in stato d’emergenza (pre-allarme)
- premere il tasto di attivazione (12) e
mantenerlo premuto durante l’annuncio: il led
rosso MIC. ON si accende.
Nota: il microfono d’emergenza ha priorità su TUTTI
i messaggi preregistrati.
3.1 MANUAL mode
The PM2025-V module can be used to send prerecorded evacuation and warning messages or
emergency voice messages, by means of the
microphone provided for this purpose. To do this,
proceed as follows:
1. Place the system in the emergency mode (alert)
by pressing the EMERGENCY key (1): the red
LED will start to flash and all the signals on the
input (11) will immediately be eliminated . The
system will then wait for further action by the
operator.
2. Press EVAC (2) to send the pre-recorded
evacuation message or the ALERT key (5) to
send the alert message. The red LED
corresponding to the option selected will light up
steadily and the EMERGENCY LED will also
remain on to indicate the existing state of
emergency. It is possible to press EVAC or ALERT
again while the message is being sent out. In this
way the state of emergency will persist and it will
be possible to change the type of message being
sent out. To return to normal operation simply
press the EMERGENCY key again.
3. On the other hand, to send a voice message
unhook the controlled microphone from its
support and - in the emergency mode (alert) press the activation key (12) and hold it down
while making the announcement. The red MIC.
ON LED will illuminate.
Note: The emergency microphone has priority over
ALL pre-recorded messages.
3.2 Modalità AUTOMATICA
Qualora da un contatto esterno collegato al modulo
PM2093-VL venga attivato lo stato d'emergenza
(ad esempio da una centralina antincendio), il
microfono d'emergenza avrà in ogni caso la priorità
su di esso. Lo stato d’emergenza verrà annullato al
termine del messaggio vocale.
3.2 AUTOMATIC mode
If the state of emergency is activated by an external
contact connected to the PM2093-VL module (e.g.
from a fire-fighting control unit), the emergency
microphone will in any case have priority over it.
The state of emergency will be reset as soon as the
voice message ends.

Il modulo PM2025-V gestisce, sotto il controllo e la
supervisione operata dal modulo PM2021-V,
l’instradamento dei segnali di emergenza verso gli
amplificatori e il controllo del microfono d'emergenza.
In condizioni di normale funzionamento (non in
emergenza) il segnale presente all'ingresso (11)
verrà riportato fedelmente alle uscite (8) e (9).
In condizioni d'emergenza, i segnali VES verranno
prelevati dal bus del sistema ed instradati in modo
opportuno alle uscite (8) e (9), che saranno a loro
volta collegate all'amplificatore.

Under the control and supervision of the PM2021-V
module, the PM2025-V module manages routing of
the emergency signals towards the amplifiers and
control of the emergency microphone.
In normal operating conditions (when there is no
emergency) the signal on the input (11) will be
sent exactly as it is to outputs (8) and (9). In
emergency conditions, the VES signals will be taken
from the system bus and suitably routed to outputs
(8) and (9), which will be connected in turn to the
amplifier.
