Drain cleaning
neodisher GRM removes all types of food residues. Even residues of food
and other organic residues which are dried on or hard to remove are
swollen, loosened and dispersed. Starch deposits in particular are easily
removed from crockery etc. in a basic cleaning process.
neodisher GRM is suitable for use with all levels of water hardness.
China with a fireproof pattern, stainless steel, ordinary plastics and
laboratory glassware are not attacked. neodisher GRM is not suitable
for aluminium, anodised aluminium or light metal alloys.
Application and dosage:
Basic washing of tableware in dishwashers:
neodisher GRM is preferably used for the basic cleaning of tableware on
which a coating of starch has gradually formed in the course of time. This
basic cleaning can be performed in a dishwasher.
This application requires the addition of 1 - 3 % neodisher GRM to the
water in the tank, where the cleaning takes place, at 50 - 70 °C.
In a belt-drive machine, neodisher GRM is dissolved in all the tanks where
the cleaning takes place by manual addition, and the starch-coated dishes
etc. are passed through the machine at the slowest belt speed. When taking
off the dishes, they should be checked to see whether the rinse was
sufficient to remove the high alkalinity. If not, the washed, alkali-smeared
dishes should be stacked and the tanks with the neodisher GRM-solution
emptied and refilled with water. After heating up the tanks, all the washed
but alkali-smeared dishes are put through the machine again. So the dishes
taken from the machine are clean, free from smears and dry.
Manual dispensing of 1 - 3 % neodisher GRM is also used for basic leaning
in a single tank machine. Here again, if rinsing has not been effective
enough to remove alkalinity smears in the basic wash, the dishes can be
rinsed again after emptying the tank of the machine and refilling with water.
It should be noted that, in both basic wash processes, either in belt machines
or single-tank machines, the initial concentration of neodisher GRM is
reduced by dilution with rinse water in the course of time, so that further
additions are required to make up the concentration.
Cleaning of Laboratory glassware in special washing machines:
neodisher GRM is also suitable as a detergent in special washing
machines at a dosage of 3 - 5 g/l in the temperature range of
50 - 90 °C. It is very suitable, e.g. for the machine washing of
laboratory glassware in industrial laboratories, to remove tar,
bitumen and other tenacious materials.
Drain cleaning:
Due to its product-specific properties, neodisher GRM is also suitable as
a drain cleaner. For this application, neodisher GRM is sprinkled into the
drain and washed in with a little water. The product is left to act for
ca. 1 hour and the drain is then flushed with water.
Do not mix with other products.

Titration factor: 0.10 (in accordance with the neodisher titration-method)

< 5 % non-ionic surfactants
15 - 30 % phosphates
Storage information:
Keep containers tightly closed. The product is sensitive to moisture.
