The third international conference on metrology
CAFMET2010, organized by The African Committee of
Metrology and NIS (National Institute of Standards of
Egypt), will be a forum for industrials and scientists to
share information, ideas and experiences. The
conferences, material exhibitions and technical visits to
firms have common objectives :
• promote communication between manufacturers,
governmental agencies, universities, institutes of
higher education and laboratories dedicated to
research and development in the field of metrology;
• present the evolution of metrology and its involvment
industry, quality, environment, safety, health and
research.
Le Comité Africain de Métrologie et le NIS (Institut
National de Métrologie d’Egypte) organisent la
troisième Conférence Internationale de Métrologie
CAFMET2010, qui constituera un carrefour d’échanges
d’informations, d’idées et d’expériences entre industriels
et scientifiques, autour de communications, de stands
d’exposition et de visites. Son objectif est :
• de promouvoir la communication entre l’industrie, les
agences gouvernementales, les établissements de
l’enseignement supérieur et les laboratoires de
recherche et de développement dans le domaine de
la mesure ;S
• de présenter les évolutions de la métrologie et ses
implications
dans
l’industrie,
la
qualité,
l’environnement, la sécurité, la santé et la recherche.

Proposals for papers should arrive at the Conference

secretariat by June 15 , 2009 by e-mail to
[email protected] as an abstract up to 300
words in Microsoft Word file.
The proposals should include the following information
: title in Times 14 bold characters, names of authors,
postal and e-mail address and five key words.
The scientific committee will decide which paper will be
accepted for oral presentation or poster.
Les propositions des communications doivent parvenir
au secrétariat de la Conférence avant le 15 Juin 2009
sous forme d’un résumé de 300 mots maximum, par
courrier électronique en fichier Microsoft Word à
[email protected].
Les propositions devront inclure les informations
suivantes : titre en caractères gras Times 14, noms
des auteurs, adresses postales et électroniques et
cinq mots clés.
Le comité scientifique examinera la recevabilité des
textes pour une présentation orale ou affichée.
