• A CUT ABOVE: Printmaker and teacher Gary Styrchak will demonstrate
the process of creating woodcuts, show examples of his own work, and talk
about the history of this ancient artform.

• BUILDING A POEM: In this workshop on haiku, J.R Léveillé will talk about the Japanese poetry
form which inspired some of his own work. Try your hand at creating one and share the results

his year’s novel is the inspiration behind “Wabi-Sabi”, a sculptural piece by Jacques Hudon at La Galerie at
the Centre culturel franco-manitobain. Visit this ongoing exhibit until Sunday, February 5.
