For over a decade the HOLY SHIT SHOPPING collective has been redefining the
concept of Christmas market and continues to grow in size and selection with
every year.
One idea, four cities, hundreds of young designers with products on offer and wonderful customers
– that’s HOLY SHIT SHOPPING!
Since 2004 this alternative Christmas market has toured Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Stuttgart,
transforming unusual locations into gigantic POP-UP DESIGN EMPORIUMS.
Up to 300 designers and creatives on-site personally present their exciting lifestyle products
including fashion, jewelry, furniture and product design, art, photography, literature and specialty
foods.
While enjoying mellow beats, tasty drinks and hot street food, HOLY SHIT SHOPPERS can escape the
holiday season stress and discover one-of-a-kind gifts for under the tree.
In Berlin HOLY SHIT SHOPPING 2014 celebrated its 10th anniversary with an outstanding event in the
legendary power station in the Mitte-district. The 8000 square meter exhibition space in these
charming, historic industrial buildings accommodates 300 designers. The HOLY SHIT SHOPPING
founders and organizers Ulrike Kabyl and Harriet Udroiu fell in love with this breathtaking location. So
much so, that HOLY SHIT SHOPPING will be held there again this year!
Due to the large demand, the exhibition space in Hamburg has been increased. The HOLY SHIT
SHOPPING team is pleased to provide more space for new and creative ideas!

Little Sun – the solar-powered lamp from the internationally renowned artist Olafur Eliasson
represents innovative design, sustainability and socially responsibility. For every Little Sun sold,
another Little Sun is made available to people living in regions without electricity at locally
affordable prices. For the holiday season HOLY SHIT SHOPPING and Little Sun are teaming up to
support a project in Burkina Faso in West Africa. With every purchase of a Little Sun at HOLY SHIT
SHOPPING, 1 Euro will be invested as start-up capital for young entrepreneurs, who will sell Little Sun
lamps, thus improving their own livelihoods and bringing light to those who need it most.
