The programme of FiraTàrrega is synonymous with Street Arts. A
set of companies, most whom understand the place where they
perform as an essential element of their discourse: they inhabit
squares, streets or parks; and also unsuspected, surprising or littleknown corners of the urban environment. The public space in all its
spectacular possibilities, and the town as a motor of artistic activity
and as a pole for stage creation.

The main axes of the 2013 programme are the novelty, wealth of
contents and writing as well as the international vocation of the
majority of the proposals that make it up, both in closed venues and
the street. A collection of unique pieces that are closely connected,
thematically and formally, to the times we are living through: critical
and committed; innovative or technological; for their desire, being
very personal, to reach global audiences. The Fira’s artistic project
has a clearly democratic vocation, of connection with the population
and the right to access to culture.
Among the productions we planned to present this year, there was
one by Joan Montanyés, Monti, an artist of great talent and closely
linked to FiraTàrrega. Unfortunately, Monti has left us and his new
work remains unfinished. This edition of FiraTàrrega is dedicated
to him.

A good Fira to everyone!
La programmation de FiraTàrrega est synonyme d’Arts de la Rue. Un ensemble
de compagnies qui, dans leur majorité, comprennent l’espace où elles s’exhibent
comme un élément essentiel de leur discours : elles habitent places, rues et parcs;
et aussi des coins insoupçonnés, surprenants ou peu connus, du milieu urbain.
L’espace public dans toutes ses possibilités spectaculaires et la ville en tant que
moteur d’activité artistique et comme pôle de création scénique.
Les grands axes de la programmarion 2013 sont la nouveauté, la richesse de
contenus et d’écritures ainsi que la vocation internationale de la majorité des
propositions qui la compose aussi bien en salle que dansla rue. Une collection
de pièces uniques qui sont étroitement connectées, thématiquement et
formellement, aux moments que nous vivons: par critiques et engagements;
pour innovantes ou technologiques; pour leur volonté, étant très personnelles,
d’arriver à des publics globaux. Le projet artistique de la Fira a une évidente
vocation démocratique, de connexion avec la citoyenneté et avec le droit d’accès
à la culture.
Parmi les productions que nous avions prévu de présenter cette année, figurait
cellle de Joan Montanyés, Monti, un artiste ayant un grand talent et très lié à
FiraTàrrega. Malheureusement Monti nous a quitté et son nouveau travail est
resté dans l’encrier. C’est à lui que nous dédions cette édition de FiraTàrrega.

1) The programme follows the 24-hour clock. A spectacle after 12 midnight
is included in the following day’s list.
2) Access to the paying spectacles after they have started is prohibited.
3) When planning your menu of paying spectacles, leave at least 60 minutes
between the expected finishing time of one and the start of the next.
4) Tickets cannot be returned. Ensure that the tickets you are given at the
box office are the ones you have requested.

DANCE
A large-format dance show, created for the inauguration of FiraTàrrega
2013, that explores and uses various stage languages: acrobatics, handling
objects, percussion, shadows and audiovisuals. Inspired by our current
situation, Toni Mira presents a reflection about transformation and struggle
in today’s world, about the need to redirect and reinvent our society. A
staging and visual game with situations of change and mutability thanks to
the movement, image and versatility of a large cubic structure.
Spectacle de danse de grand format, créé pour l’ inauguration de FiraTàrrega 2013,
qui explore et utilise divers langages scéniques: l’acrobatie, la manipulation d’objets,
la percussion, les ombres et les ressources audiovisuelles. Inspiré par la réalité du
moment présent, Toni Mira propose une réflexion sur la transformation et la lutte
dans le monde actuel, sur la nécessité de reconduire et de réinventer notre société.
Un jeu scénique et visuel qui propose des situations de changement et de mutabilité
grâce au mouvement, à l’image et la versatilité d’une grande structure cubique.
Toni Mira After working with different theatre and dance companies, in 1987,
he founded the theatre dance company, Nats Nus, with which he had a long
career with many large-format and video-dance shows. He later diversified
his work, not only as a dancer and choreographer but also collaborating in
important theatrical, musical and television productions. In 2010, he received
the National Dance Award from the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Toni Mira Après avoir travaillé dans différentes compagnies de théâtre et de danse,
il a fondé la compagnie de danse théâtre Nat Nus en1987, avec laquelle il a une
longue trajectoire avec de nombreux spectacles de grand dormat et vidéo-danse
Plus tard il a diversifié.son travail non seulement comme danseur et chorégraphe
mais aussi avec des collaborations à d‘importantes productions théâtrales, musicales
et de télévision. En 2010 il a reçu le Prix National de Danse attribué par la Generalitat
de Catalunya.

Since they started touring back in around 2000, Always
have performed over 400 times around Europe and Asia
with a total of 9 shows. You will recall Bullangas or Flirt,
among others. With a very personal style, a mixture of
music and clowning, this band, identified by yellow and
black, present a lively show with music, surrealist gags
and interaction with the audience. Winners of the best
band at the Spring Carnival Festival in Beijing 2013.

An empty space; natural, clean, without hideaways. A man tries to control his animal
instinct to discover who he is through the different stages of his life. A story about fear
and accepting oneself. A spectacle that shows the uncontrollable forces we all carry inside
ourselves. Circus, music and movement. Verticals, acrobatics on high heels, a spoon in
the nose, chicken calls, animal sex, ritual dances, physical and mental metamorphoses...
An ambiguous and wild universe that is, at the same time, intimate and real. A proposal
that connects us to our deepest animal instincts.
Un espace vide, naturel, propre, sans cachettes. Un homme tente de contrôler son instinct animal
pour découvrir qui il est à travers les différents états de sa vie. Une histoire qui parle de la peur
et de l’acceptation de soi-même. Un spectacle qui nous montre la force incontrôlable qui est en

DANCE
An award-winning choreographic piece envisaged as the search for its own language
based on physical expression. A work that questions our limits as humans and with
elementary communication through movement. Imagination, humour and emotion are
the ingredients for a communicative space that aims to build links with the audience.
Dance conceived as a balance between identities, bodies and actions, as a force that
transforms and regenerates through confrontation on stage.
Pièce chorégraphique récompensée plusieurs fois et proposée comme la recherche d’un langage
propre fondé sur l’expression physique. Un travail qui interroge nos limites en tant qu’humains
et la communication élémentaire à travers le mouvement. Imagination, humour et émotion sont
les ingrédients d’un espace communicatif qui prétend créer des liens avec le spectateur. La danse
conçue comme un équilibre entre identités, corps et actions, comme une force transformatrice et
régénératrice au moyen de la confrontation scénique.

DANCE
Two men and a woman are absorbed by the frenetic
rhythm of carnival. Magnetism, music, dance. The body
becomes a singular tool for expression, pleasure, beauty
and the grotesque. A binge of fantasy that ends up with
a hangover of reality. This experienced dance company,
directed by Ígor Calonge, presents Brazil’s most popular
festival as a pretext to reflect about the human being
and the extreme situations in which good and evil take
on a new dimension.
Deux hommes et une femme sont engloutis par le rythme
frénétique du carnaval. Magnétisme, musique, danse. Le
corps devient un outil d’expression, de plaisir, de beauté et de
grotesque. Une cuite de fantaisie qui se termine et une gueulede-bois réelle. Cette compagnie de danse expérimentée, dirigée
par Ígor Calonge, propose la fête la plus populaire du Brésil
comme prétexte pour réfléchir sur l’être humain et les situations
limites où le bien et le mal atteignent une nouvelle dimension.

DANCE THEATRE
A new choreographic incursion into public spaces by this
dance company. A proposal that delves into a private
world of contradictions where the lives of a couple are
presented as a voluntary kidnapping where it is never clear
who is kidnapping who. A private story about an intimate
relationship shamelessly exposed in the street and in
everyone’s reach. A piece thought up as a complementary
mirror for For ever and a day a show in a twin room, with
which it shares characters and theme: the less romantic
aspects of the relationships between couples.
Nouvelle incursion de cette compagnie de danse dans les
chorégraphies conçues pour des espaces publics. Une proposition
qui fouille dans un monde privé plein de contradictions où la vie
commune d’un couple est proposée comme une séquestration
volontaire dans laquelle on ne sait jamais qui séquestre qui. Une
histoire privée sur une relation intime exposée impudiquement
dans la rue et à la portée de tout le monde. Une pièce qui est
proposée comme le miroir complémentaire de For ever and a
day, un spectacle de salle jumeau avec lequel il partage des
personnages et le noeud thématique: les aspects les moins
romantiques d’une relation de couple.

An installation conceived for public places and all ages that aims to awaken interest in
communication, literature and poetry, enjoyably and participatively. Through a circular
structure and a system of tubes, the audience can recite and listen to poetic messages
and experience the possibilities this literary genre offers beyond the habitual supports
and formats.
Installation conçue pour l’espace public et pour tous les publics, qui a l’intention d’éveiller l’intérêt
pour la communication, la littérature et la poésie d’une façon ludique et participative. À partir
d’une structure circulaire et d’un système de tubes, les spectateurs peuvent réciter et écouter des
messages poétiques et expérimentent les possibilités offertes par ce genre littéraire au-delà des

CLOWN
They have travelled widely around the world with street shows like Les fotogrâfiers
or Démodés and present a new proposal directed by Jaume Navarro. Some characters
taken to the extreme and who defend a theatricality that borders on the most grotesque
clowning. A story that explains how the greatest show ever can become the quirkiest,
most absurd, ridiculous and extravagant. A humorous reflection about the durability of
art. Each of the performances stars up to four different characters: magic, Shakespeare,
opera and circus.
Compagnie qui a roulé autour de la moitié du monde avec des spectacles de rue comme Les
fotogrâfiers ou Démodés et qui présentent une nouvelle proposition sous la direction de Jaume
Navarro. Des personnages arrivés à la limite qui défendent une théâtralité à la frontière du clown
le plus grotesque. Une histoire qui explique comment le spectacle le plus grand de tous les temps
peut devenir le plus excentrique, absurde, ridicule et extravagant. Une réflexion en clef d’humour
sur la perdurabilité de l’art. Chacune des session est un numéro dont les personnages sont différents
jusqu’à un total de quatre: magie, Shakespeare, opéra et cirque.

DANCE
The aim of this young company is to create a new
space where contemporary dance embraces many
other disciplines and whose premise is emotion without
artifice. In this case, they propose an urban dance
show that mixes the virtuosity of the performers with
a vindication: the right to be different. Formulated as
a cockfight, the piece features two couples who show
their rivalry and take part in a veritable dance battle, an
energetic crescendo of rhythm and styles.
L’objectif de cette jeune compagnie est de créer un nouvel espace
où la danse contemporaine embrasse de nombreuses autres
disciplines et ait comme prémisse l’émotion sans artifice. Dans
le cas présent on nous propose un spectacle de danse urbaine
où se mêlent la virtuosité des interprètes et une revendication:
le droit à être différent. Formulée comme une bataille de coqs,
la pièce est représentée par deux couples qui manifestent leur
rivalité et sont les protagonistes d’une véritable bataille de
danse dans un crescendo énergique de rythme et de styles.

A company created in France in 2008 by the Catalans Pau
Portabella and Marta Torrents after training in the Lido
Circus Arts Center in Toulouse. Their work is based on
a fusion of theatre, dance and acrobatics. In Cru, they
present a circus without artifice, based on the body and
expressing feelings to talk, through everyday images, of
the harshness of the situations that overwhelm us, of
social taboos and strong emotions. A show where the
impossible becomes possible.
Compagnie dont le siège est en France, créée en 2008 par les
Catalans Pau Portabella et Marta Torrents après s’être formés au
Lido Circus Arts Center de Toulouse en Languedoc. Leur travail
est fondé sur la fusion du théâtre, de la danse et de l ‘acrobatie.
Dans Cru ils proposent un cirque sans artifice, basé sur le
corps et sur l’expression des sentiments pour parler, à travers

An atypical talk, with live music, on the street. The
speaker contradicts himself a lot. He interprets the
theory of relativity, shows how John Wayne would buy
the newspaper and he dances... to end up showing that
all three things are really the same. With a single flick
of his fingers, he makes things appear and disappear,
like the magicians. And, like magicians, he also has an
assistant. It is she who makes the music, supplies vitamins
and moves the story on when the speaker gets lost. To
finish, question time, that the audience take home,
together with an optimism that lasts at least until the
next morning’s coffee.

Conférence atypique, avec musique jouée en direct, dans la rue.
Le conférencier se contredit beaucoup. Il interprète la théorie
de la relativité, montre comment John Wayne achèterait un
journal, danse... pour finalement prouver que les trois choses
sont en réalité la même. Avec un seul geste des doigts il fait
apparaître et disparaître des choses, comme les magiciens. Et,
comme les magiciens, lui aussi a une aide. C’est elle qui fait la
musique, apporte des vitamines et reconduit l’histoire quand
le conférencier s’égare. Finalement, c’est le tour des questions,
que les spectateurs emportent chez eux avec un optimisme qui
persiste au moins jusqu’au café du matin suivant.

A show about the relation between power, politics and
the media. How the media build the big official truths,
how they manipulate the data, how they make biased
interpretations, how they create smokescreens to
protect the interests of the powerful. A theatrical work
that uncovers the workings of the most powerful media
to make us see that we are immersed in disinformation.
The news is the star of this proposal that Hortzmuga
take to the street, to the Agora, to compare their theses
with the most authentic public opinion. A proposal
included in the programme of Support for Creation at
FiraTàrrega 2012.
Spectacle qui réfléchit sur la relation entre le pouvoir, la politique
et les médias. Comment les médias construisent les grandes
vérités officielles , comment ils manipulent les données, comment
ils font des interprétations intéressées, comment ils créent des
rideaux de fumée pour préserver les intérêts des puissants. Une
pièce de théâtre qui dévoile le fonctionnement des grands
médias pour faire comprendre que nous sommes immergés dans
la désinformation. L’information est la protagoniste de cette
proposition de Hortzmuga portée à la rue, au milieu de la foule,
pour comparer ses thèses avec celles de l’opinion publique la
plus authentique. Proposition incluse au programme de Soutien

With Humortal, this company of street clowns did a long international tour. In this new
proposal, with the participation of Àlex Navarro in the direction, present a golfer who,
accompanied by his two caddies, aims to conquer the World Cup Glof. Three characters,
aware of the destruction of the landscape that their sport so often implies, decide to use
the streets, squares and balconies as their course.
Avec son spectacle Humortal cette compagnie de clown de rue a fait un long parcours international.
Dans cette nouvelle proposition, qui compte avec la participation, pour la direction, d’Àlex Navarro,
on nous présente un joueur de golf qui, en compagnie de ses deux caddies, prétend obtenir la
World Cup Glof. Trois personnages sensibilisés par la destruction du paysage qu’implique souvent,
la pratique de leur sport et qui décident d’utiliser les rues, places et balcons comme terrain de jeu.

These old acquaintances of the FiraTàrrega audience are back with
another theatrical concert. A clown and music show inspired by
the maxim that energy is neither created nor destroyed: it is only
transformed. Precisely what the Jashgawronskys do is to apply all their
creative energy to transforming rubbish and unlikely elements into an
inexhaustible resource for making music: brooms, buckets, waste-paper
baskets, graters, toilet paper... A hilarious concert for all ages where the
greatest hits of pop are performed with instruments made of recycled
material and rubbish.
Ces vieilles connaissances du public de FiraTàrrega reviennent avec un nouveau
concert théâtralisé. Un spectacle de clown et musique inspiré par la maxime
que l’énergie ni se crée ni se détruit: simplement elle se transforme. Ce que
font précisément les Jashgawronsky en applicant toute leur énergie créative à
transformer les résidus et des éléments invraisemblables en une source inépuisable
d’éléments de création de musique: balais, seaux, corbeilles à papier, râpes, papier

PERFORMANCE
The dancer Jordi Galí is fascinated by the gestures
and movements of manual work and which make up
the raw material of the creative process. He showed
it at FiraTàrrega 2011 with his previous work Ciel.
Now he presents a new architectural fiction for public
spaces based around three performers, ladders, ropes
and various pieces of wood. An exercise of great
visual magnetism that explores the tension between
contradictory forces (verticality, horizontality, elevation,
inversion) and whose final result is the construction of a
complex structure.
Jordi Galí est un danseur fasciné par les gestes et les mouvements
présents dans le travail manuel et qui constituent la matière
première du processus créatif. Il l’a prouvé à FiraTàrrega 2011
avec son travail antérieur Ciel. Il nous propose maintenant
une nouvelle fiction architectonique dans l’espace public qui a
comme point de départ trois interprètes, des échelles, des cordes
et plusieurs morceaux de bois. Un exercice de grand magnétisme

La máquina de Esquilo
Aeschylus, who fought against the Persian invasion of
Greece in the 5th century BC, dramatised his experiences
in the war, which has led him traditionally to be considered
the creator of Greek tragedy. This entertaining show,
by young Mexican actors, takes us back to Aeschylus’
epoch with a comedy that takes a journey through the
history of dramatic art, from its earliest beginnings to
its consolidation. A street-theatre comedy with live
music that is just right for young audiences and which
evokes divinities and nymphs and updates a series of
classic characters, from Prometheus to the Oceanides.

Eschyle, qui lutta dans les guerrres contre les perses au Vème s.
av. J.C, donna une forme dramaturgique à ses expériences de
guerre raison pour laquelle il fut traditionnellement considéré
comme le créateur de la tragédie grecque. Ce spectacle ludique
mis en scène par de jeunes acteurs mexicains, nous ramène à
l’époque d’Eschyle dans une comédie qui parcourt l’histoire de
l’art dramatique de ses antécédent les plus primitifs jusqu’à sa
consolidation. Une proposition de théâtre de rue très adéquat
pour un public jeune, en version comique et de musique en
direct, qui évoque des divinités et des nymphes et met à jour
une ribambelle de personnages classiques, de Prométhée aux

A silent show for all ages, where this international clown observes
humankind and, in recreating it, produces a very personal mixture of
humour and poetry. On the stage, four pieces of furniture and a door.
Without walls. A house full of empty spaces, holes to the absurd, visited
by imagined spectators. A single character surrounded by presences,
of imbalances. A time stopped at a frenetic rhythm, with ghosts in the
cupboards, flying socks, raining umbrellas, playful mirrors, elusive lamps,
surprise packets, telepathic pianos, silent musics. A house of dreams to
share solitude and emotions. Leandre’s house.
Spectacle sans paroles, pour tous les publics, de ce clown international qui observe
l’humanité et qui, en la recréant, réalise un mariage très personnel entre l’humour
et la poésie. Sur scène, quatre meubles et une porte. Sans murs. Un maison

Since 2005, the duo of Vargas and Brûlé have been in permanent
creative harmony with their own language defined by flamenco and
contemporary dance. This new show for two bailaores, conceived for
a public place and singular venues, is inspired in all those people we
secretly fall in love with for an instant. Those persons we meet by chance,
who pass through our lives fleetingly, with whom we share melancholies
and happiness with only a glance, without exchanged a single word.

Depuis 2005 Vargas et Brûlé forment un tandem en permanente syntonie
créative et ayant un langage propre dans le cadre du flamenco et de la danse
contemporaine. Ce nouveau spectacle pour deux bailaores, conçu pour l’espace
public et des espaces singuliers, s’inspire de toutes ces personnes dont nous
tombons secrètement amoureux pour un instant. Ces personnes que nous
croisons par hasard, qui passent fugacement dans nos vies et avec lesquelles
nous partageons joies et mélancolies avec un simple regard, sans échanger

NEW DRAMATURGIES
Surrounded by books and immersed and in a great metaphor, Carvalho cooks a leg of
lamb in beer. This famous character created by the writer Manuel Vázquez Montalban
is the star of a monologue adapted as a post-modern and conceptual installation by
Txell Roda. A peculiar performance that has the feel of a 1970s’ happening and situates
the audience among the shelves of a library. A theatrical artefact that offers a clear
and diaphanous view of an epoch and a country through the writer’s characters and
clairvoyance. This show enjoys the participation of the town’s artistic assets and forms
part of the project, MVM 10 Years of Absence in commemoration of Vázquez Montalban.
Entouré de livres et immergé dans une grande métaphore, Carvalho cuisine un pied de mouton à
la bière. Ce fameux personnage créé par l’écrivain Manuel Vázquez Montalban est le protagoniste
d’un monologue adapté comme une installation post moderne et conceptuelle par Txell Roda.
Une représentation particulière qui à tout l’air d’un happening des années soixante-dix et situe
les spectateurs sur les étagères d’une bibliothèque. Un engin théâtral qui offre une vision claire
et diaphane d’une époque et d’un pays à travers des personnages et des pensées clairvoyantes de
l’écrivain. Ce spectacle compte avec la participation des actifs artistiques de la ville et fait partie du
projet MVM 10 ans d’absence en commémoration de Vázquez Montalban.

de notre histoire récente pendant lequel le tourisme faisait
fureur dans un pays qui sortait tout juste du sommeil léthargique

MULTIDISCIPLINARY
An interdisciplinary project that combines dance, theatre,
humour, music, design, video-mapping and technology.
A science-fiction story directed by Juan Pablo Mendiola
and performed by the actress and choreographer, Cristina
Fernàndez, about the experiences of a young volunteer
who takes part in an experiment into the possibility of
surviving in a bunker with only the help of an artificial
intelligence system. A story that interweaves themes
like trust, betrayal and the necessity we humans have to
establish links. A trans-media project that spills over into
the social networks, where the spectators can expand
their experience (see www.panicmap.com). Selected at
the Xarxa Alcover 2012.
Projet interdisciplinaire dans lequel interviennent la danse, le
théâtre, l’humour, la musique, le dessin, la vidéo-mapping et
la technologie. Un récit de science-fiction dirigé par Juan Pablo
Mendiola et interprété par l’actrice et chorégraphe Cristina
Fernàndez, où l’expérience d’une jeune volontaire qui participe
à un projet sur la possibilité de survivre dans un bunker avec
la seule aide d’un système d’intelligence atificielle nous est
proposée. Une histoire qui s’interroge sur des thèmes tels que
la confiance, la trahison et le besoin que nous, êtres humains,
avons d’établir des liens. Un projet transmédias dont l’extension

A choreographer and dancer, Pere Faura has shown great talent as a
performer and stage creator. He was at FiraTàrrega in 2012 with Ràdio
Patio and Dansa Real ja! And now, accompanied by two performers, he
presents a show of multidisciplinary improvisation where the audience
propose the different ingredients that appear on stage: from the general
subject, specific actions or dances, to the music or the contents of the
videos. The audience become the author, director and playwright of a
show that combines text, dance, music and video in a stage event that is
as unpredictable as it is unrepeatable.
Chorégraphe et danseur, Pere Faura a prouvé son grand talent en tant que
performer et créateur scénique. Nous l’avons eu à FiraTàrrega 2012 avec Ràdio
Patio et Dansa Real ja! Et maintenant, en compagnie de deux interprètes, il
présente un spectacle d’improvisation multidisciplinaire où le public propose
les différents ingrédients qui apparaîtront sur scène: de la thématique générale,
les actions ou danses concrètes en passant par la musique ou le contenu des
vidéos. Le spectateur deviendra auteur, directeur et dramaturge d’un spectacle
qui mêle texte, danse, musique et vidéo en un évènement scénique aussi
imprévisible que non renouvelable.

CIRCUS
A young circus company that won the Zirkolika Award 2012 as the revelation of the
season. After various brief pieces, they have moved on to a long show, with the external
assessment of Alba Sarraute. Three people find themselves trapped in a timeless reality
that they are unsure of being able to escape from some day. Meanwhile, they create
human geometries and a new language to survive and understand what lies around
us, accepting the existence of infinite realities. A proposal with its own interdisciplinary
stage vocabulary, that ranges from acrobatics and dance, to the Chinese pole or
handling objects.
Jeune compagnie de cirque qui reçut le Prix Zirkolika 2012 en tant que révélation de la saison.
Après différentes pièces brèves, ils font face à un spectacle de longue durée pour lequel ils ont
compté avec le regard externe d’Alba Sarraute. Trois personnes sont attrappées dans une réalité
intemporelle dont elles ne savent pas si elles pourront sortir un jour. Pendant ce temps elles
créent des géométries humaines et un nouveau langage pour survivre et comprendre ce qui
les entoure, en acceptant l’existence de réalités infinies. Une proposition ayant un vocabulaire
scénique propre, interdisciplinaire, qui passe par l’acrobatie, la danse, la perche chinoise ou la
manipulation d’objets.

One of the Balearic companies with greatest international prestige, they have visited La
Fira on various occasions and now present their latest production, a piece of movement
where two characters meet again through their remembrances. A brief but intense
experience that the audience live through inside a 35 cubic-metre structure that evokes
a prison cell. A story of freedom featuring two people who recreate a relationship of
mutual dependence lived intimately beyond any limit. Winner of the Total Theatre
Award at the Edinburgh Fringe 2012.
Une des compagnies baléares ayant le plus de projection
internationale qui a visité la Fira en diverses occasions et
qui nous présente sa dernière production, une pièce de
mouvement où deux personnages se retrouvent par le
souvenir. Une expérience brève mais intense que le spectateur
ressent dans une structure de 35 mètres cubiques, qui évoque
la cellule d’une prison. Une histoire de liberté représentée
par deux personnes qui recréent une relation de nécessité
mutuelle vécue à fleur de peau au-delà de toute limite. Total

“We see loss as an opportunity”. This is the thought
that sums up the heart of the new creation by Sol
Picó, a particular vision of decadence and desolation.
A reflection about the present, seen as a devastating
hurricane that stops us from moving forward, and
about the need to change this world, to escape from
this suffocating situation. Three nomads plan a journey
that ends with them adrift, like a message in a bottle,
a desire, a desperate plea for help … Fantasy and the
absurd are the axes of this choreographic piece. A
sincere, convulsive and hopeful exercise.
«Nous voyons la perte comme une opportunité». Voici la
pensée qui synthétise l’âme de la nouvelle création de Sol Picó,
une vision particulière sur la décadence et la désolation. Une
réflexion sur l’actualité vue comme un ouragan dévastateur qui
ne nous permet pas d’avancer et sur la nécessité de changer ce
monde, d’échapper à cette situation asphyxiante. Trois nomades
proposent un voyage dont la fin les situe à la dérive, comme
un message dans une bouteille, un désir, un appel désespéré
d’aide... La fantaisie et l’absurde sont les axes de cette pièce
chorégraphique. Un exercice sincère, convulsé et plein d’espoir.

The latest work by this Chilean company that turns its gaze towards the most marginal
places and most anonymous beings and who offered us their site-specific El olivo at
FiraTàrrega 2011. In this new show, they present a story with a great emotional impact,
in which the characters are the patients in a psychiatric hospital, through whom they
construct an allegory of love-passion as a veritable stupidity and where life shows its
most radical and sincere colours. A tale inspired in the book El infarto del alma by
Paz Errázuriz and Diamela Eltit, built as a series of every-day scenes that attempt to
approach the subject of affective survival in our times.
Dernier travail de cette compagnie chilienne qui jette son regard vers les lieux les plus marginaux
et vers les êtres les plus anonymes. Elle nous offrit son site specific El olivo à FiraTàrrega 2011.
Dans ce nouveau spectacle elle propose une histoire de grand effet émotionnel dans laquelle les
protagonistes sont les patients d’un centre psychiatrique, à travers eux se bâtit une allégorie de
l’amour-passion comme un manque de bon sens et où la vie est vue sous les couleurs les plus
radicales et sincères. Un récit inspiré du livre El infarto del alma de Paz Errázuriz et Diamela
Eltit, construit comme une succession de scènes quotidiennes qui tentent de se rapprocher de la
thématique de la survie affective de nos jours.

A company created in 2002, with a dozen shows that have earned it a great international
projection, up to the point that the dramaturgies by its director Raúl Cortés have been
the subject of a thesis at the University of Pisa. This show, set in a wake, is a portrait of
hunger through sharp and witty humour. Three characters wander among the ruins of
the everyday and face life calmly and courageously, aware that this is the most precious
value of their rebelliousness. A mirror that reflects the image of those who have lost
everything except their sense of humour.
Compagnie créée en 2002 qui, avec une dizaine de montages, a obtenu une grande projection
internationale jusqu’à tel point que les dramaturgies de son directeur Raúl Cortés ont été l’objet
de thèse à l’Université de Pise. Avec ce spectacle, qui a lieu dans le cadre d’une soirée, elle fait un
portrait de la faim à travers l’humour poignant et ingénieux. Trois personnages déambulent parmi
les décombres quotidiens et font face à la vie avec désinvolture et courage, conscients que c’est le
bien le plus prisé de leur rebellion. Un miroir qui nous renvoit l’image de ceux qui ont tout perdu
sauf lel sens de l’humour.

Genet, articulated around two central themes: life as
a mechanical experience and the theatre as a place of

dramaturgy, with a structure that reveals the actors’ real
and fictional limits, the character, the audience, the place

Adaptation libre et actualisée de l’oeuvre de Jean Genet “Les
bonnes” qui s’articule autoure de deux thèmes centraux: celui
de la vie comme expérience mécanique et celui du théâtre
comme espace d’authenticité dans un monde qui a transformé
l’art en une marchandise. Deux actrices, deux femmes qui
interprètent deux bonnes, donnent vie à l’un des textes
fondamentaux de la dramaturgie du XXème siècle avec une
structure qui met à découvert les limites réelles et de fiction
de l’acteur, du personnage, du spectateur, de l’espace et de
la pièce dramatique elle-même. Une occasion unique pour

CIRCUS
Otradnoie (which means “the place where the consolation”
in Russian) is the name of this circus company formed in
2009 between Barcelona and Toulouse. Its work is based on
the search for a language where circus, movement, objects
and devices come together to produce and control sound.
Otradnoie 1 refers to a world dominated by oblivion, full
of objects that have lost their purpose. Human stupidity
has spread everywhere and the avalanche of information,
consumerism, waste and insatisfaction are the basis of the
dominant lifestyle. Otradnoie is the refuge of the memory
where a man and a woman dance surrounded by an
atmosphere of sound that suggests hope, possibility, life.
Otradnoie (qui en russe veut dire «lieu où se trouve la consolation») est le nom de cette compagnie
de cirque née en 2009 à cheval entre Barcelone et Toulouse du Languedoc. Le travail est fondé sur la
recherche d’un langage où confluent le cirque, le mouvement, les objets et les dispositifs pour produire et
contrôler le son. Otradnoie 1 fait référence à un monde où s’impose l’oubli, plein d’objets qui ont perdu
leur fonction. La stupidité humaine s’est étalée partout et l’avalanche informative, la consommation,
le gaspillaage et l’insatisfaction sont la base du style de vie dominant. Otradnoie est le refuge de la

A project based on the literary universe of the playwright Esteve Soler, whose trilogy Contra el progrés,
Contra la democràcia and Contra l’amor has had a great impact thanks to its critical tone and sense of
humour. Contra la ciutat permits a “morally altered” discovery of the city. It is a physical itinerary that
reflects the monsters and contradictions of everyday life, and muses about the dehumanisation of society
and makes the audience take an active part and become propagators of messages. Starting from a map*,
an interactive presentation and numerous actions, the audience has the chance to travel round the town
and switch between an arguable reality and a surprising fiction.

Projet fondé sur l’univers littéraire du dramaturge Esteve Soler qui, avec les spectacles Contra el progrés, Contra la
democràcia et Contra l’amor, a créé une trilogie qui a eu une grande répercussion grâce à son ton critique et à son
sens de l’humour. Contra la ciutat permet une découverte «moralement altérée» de la ville. C’est un itinéraire physique
qui reflète les monstres et les contradictions du quotidien, réfléchit sur la déshumanisation de la société et fait que le
spectateur devienne une partie active et propagatrice de messages. À partir d’une carte, d’une exposition interactive et
de nombreuses actions, le spectateur a l’occasion de parcourir la ville et de circuler entre une réalité discutable et une

After La Caputxeta galàctica, which
we saw at FiraTàrrega in 2012, this
multidisciplinary company, made up
of two painters, a musician and three
video-experimenters, presents a second
show that goes deeper into plastic and
expressive research and the mixing of
means and languages. A montage that
makes us reflect about current themes,
like human perversion, the meanness
behind the machinery of the states, the
manipulation of citizens’ opinions or
the generation and spread of myths.
Après La Caputxeta galàctica, que l’on a pu
voir lors de l’édition 2012 de FiraTàrrega,
cette compagnie multidisciplinaire composée
de deux peintres, un musicien et trois
vidéoexpérimentateurs, propose un second
spectacle qui approfondit dans la recherche
plastique et expressive et dans le métissage
des moyens et des langages. Un montage qui
nous fait réfléchir sur des thèmes actuels tels
que la perversion humaine, la mesquinerie
dissimulée derrière la machinerie des états, la
manipulation des opinions des citoyens ou la
génération et propagation des mythes.

El lloc
A young company from the Municipal Theatre Class in Lleida who propose a first
show with the dramaturgy and expert direction of Jorge-Yamam Serrano, director of
TeatrodeCerca (Moritz Award at FiraTàrrega 2012). With the pretext of a historical
event (the massacre of Jews in Tàrrega in 1348), a tale is woven where the past and the
present come together. Starting with a game, four friends meet up in the usual place
and bring out the hidden truths that they maintain with each other. A site-specific work
that looks into the historical load of sites and the connection between our lives and the
oft-forgotten lives of our ancestors.

Jeune compagnie formée à l’Aula Municipal de Teatre de
Lleida, qui se propose un premier spectacle avec la dramaturgie
et la direction experte de Jorge-Yamam Serrano, directeur de
TeatrodeCerca (Prix Moritz de FiraTàrrega 2012). Sous prétexte
d’un épisode historique – la tuerie de juifs survenue à Tàrrega
en 1348- se tisse un récit où convergent passé et présent. À
partir d’un jeu, quatre amis réunis dans leur lieu habituel de
rencontre font affleurer les vérités souterraines qui existent
entre eux. Un travail site specific qui recherche dans la charge
historique qu’ont les emplacements et la connexion de nos vies
avec les vies –souvent oubliées- de nos ancêtres.

proposition qui naît de l’observation du travail artisanal et de
l’ introspection dans les racines géographiques et familiales
de l’artiste pour expérimenter avec l’espace et le mouvement
ainsi que pour créer un dialogue entre la nature et l’individu
à la recherche de la complicité avec le spectateur. Une pièce
conçue pour l’espace public, où quatre personnes inconnues
s’unissent à l’interprète pour travailler dans un même objectif,

An artist with a long career and wide creative spectrum,
founder of the platform of new creators, Colectivo
Estraperlo, who has been producing her own shows since
2008. This project arose from her passion for detective
stories, film noir and the comics of the 1930s. It is a roleplay in which the audience has to take on a role and
became an active player in this plot of intrigue. A guided
tour round the town that turns the street into a stage
where the limits between fiction and real life become
blurred. A detective puzzle in which the audience
changes sides and helps to make the show.
Artiste de longue trajectoire et ample spectre créatif, fondatrice
de la plate-forme de nouveaux créateurs Collectif Estraperlo,
qui depuis 2008 produit ses propres spectacles. Ce nouveau
projet naît de sa passion pour le genre policier, le cinéma noir
et les BD des années 30. La proposition offre un jeu de rôle
dans lequel le spectateur doit assumer un rôle et devient un
personnage actif d’une intrigue. Un parcours dirigé vers la ville
qui transforme la rue en une scène où s’effacent les limites
entre la fiction et la vie réelle. Un casse-tête de détective dans
lequel les spectateurs passent de l’autre côté et contribuent à
l’élaboration du spectacle.

An Italian company that works through gesture, acrobatics and theatre-dance combined
with stage machines, video and music. Taking the imaginative world of traditional tales
as its source of inspiration, the show recreates a magic world that blurs the frontiers
between good and evil, light and darkness, love and death. The audience is led behind
the mirror to rediscover the most hidden facets of the characters that have accompanied
us since our infancy: Little Red Riding-Hood, Snow White, the witches and stepsisters. A
multimedia allegory about our contemporary lifestyle, of great visual impact, dynamic,
ironic and with touches of musical review.
Compagnie italienne qui travaille à partir du geste, de l’acrobatie et du théâtre-danse en
combinaison avec des machines scèniques, la vidéo et la musique. En prenant le monde imaginaire
des contes traditionnels comme source d’inspiration, le spectacle recrée un monde magique qui
estompe les frontières entre le bien et le mal, la lumière et l’obscurité, l’amour et la mort. Le public
est conduit derrière un miroir pour redécouvrir les facettes les plus cachées des personnages qui
nous ont accompagnés depuis l’enfance: le Petit Chaperon Rouge, Blanche-Neige, les sorcières et
les belles-mères. Une allégorie multimédia sur le style de vie contemporain, de grand effet visuel,
dynamique, ironique et avec des touches de revue musicale.

The third show by this company who became known in 2009
after a Creation Laboratory at FiraTàrrega with Copacabana,
in which they smashed all theatrical conventions to offer a
singular culinary experience and which they have performed
over 180 times around the world. In Ârtica, they continue this
line of research into new theatrical languages and audience
involvement to offer a multidisciplinary, sensorial and not at
all conventional proposal. In small groups, the audience enter
an old wooden house where they are met by silent characters
who offer them warmth and where they can hear a series of
surprising stories. A window open onto an intimate world of
nostalgia and poetry.
Troisième spectacle de cette compagnie qui se fit connaître en 2009 à
travers un Laboratoire de Création à FiraTàrrega avec son Copacabana,
qui brisait toutes les conventions théâtrales pour offrir une expérience
culinaire et singulière et qui a réalisé plus de 180 représentations
autour du monde. Avec Ârtica elle poursuit cette ligne de recherche
de nouveaux langages théâtraux et d’implication avec le public pour
offrir une proposition multidisciplinaire, sensorielle et aucunement
conventionnelle. En groupes réduits, les spectateurs accèdent à
l’intérieur d’une vieille maison en bois où ils sont reçus par des
personnages silencieux qui leur offrent de la chaleur et où ils pourront
découvrir un ensemble d’histoires surprenantes. Une fenêtre ouverte
sur un monde intime de nostalgie et poésie.

INSTALLATION
For over 20 years, Guixot de 8 have worked
building games with recycled materials. They
have given a new life to some 10 tonnes of
scrap metal. Now they present two sets of
surprising, imaginative games. ‘Gargot de
jocs’ is a challenge of virtuosity, wit and skill
for all ages. ‘Gargot d’escultura’ is a singular
homage to the 20th-century “kinetic”
sculptors. A leisure proposal that aims to
take works of art from the stuffy confines
of the museums out into the rhythm and
movement of the street. Entertainment for
all the family to have a very agreeable time.
Depuis plus de 20 ans, Guixot de 8 se dédie
à la construction de jeux avec du matériel de
recyclage. Il a donné vie à près de 10 tonnes
de ferraille. Il nous présente maintenant deux
collections de jeux imaginatifs et surprenants.
“Gargot de joc” est un défi de virtuosité,
d’ingéniosité et d’habileté pour tous les
âges. “Gargot d’escultura” est un hommage
singulier aux sculpteurs “cinétiques” du XXe
siècle, une proposition ludique qui souhaite
déplacer les oeuvres d’art du calme des
musées au rythme et au mouvement de la
rue. Un divertissement pour toute la famille
qui vous fera passer un bon moment.

MUSIC THEATER
With a 25-year career in amateur theatre, since 2000, Filagarsa have specialised
in the production of musicals. Winners of the 2011 City of Tàrrega Amateur
Theatre Award with Kiss me Kate, they have repeated their success in 2013.
The story they have produced is about Halloween Town, the place where
monsters, murderers, vampires, witches, ghosts live side by side and where
their leader, Jack, King of the Dead, tired of frightening people, dreams
about conquering Christmas Town, where everything is peace and happiness.

l’an 2000 dans la production de pièces de théâtre musical. Vainqueur du Prix
Ville de Tàrrega de Théâtre Amateur en 2011 avec Besa’m Kate, son succès s’est
reproduit en 2013. L’histoire qu’il présente, de production propre, nous parle
de Vila Halloween, l’endroit où vivent ensemble monstres, assassins, vampires,
sorcières, fantômes et où leur leader, Jack le roi des Morts, las de promouvoir
la peur, rêve de conquérir Vila Nadal, l’endroit où tout est paix et joie. PRIX

With the aim of encouraging the mobility of companies and professionals outside their respective
regions of autonomous communities, the COFAE has opened a line of action, the “COFAE Mobility
Circuit” for 2013.
With this direct action in the fairs, we contribute to the artistic mobility of the companies in
Spain, reinforcing and creating market, one of the COFAE’s objectives.
The mobility of programmers lets the agents who, for various reasons, have not attended any of
the associated fairs to be invited to attend to allow them to discover new realities.
This initiative is aimed at encouraging state scenic exhibition and contracting in the fair context.
This programme is financed by the Ministry of Culture, Education and Sports – National Institute
of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM).
Dans l’objectif de faciliter la mobiilité des compagnies et des professionnels hors de leurs communautés autonomes respectives, la COFAE
a commencé la ligne d’action “Circuit de Mobilité de COFAE” pour l’année 2013.
Par cette action directe aux foires, nous contribuons à la mobilité artistique des compagnies de l’État espagnol en renforçant et créant
marché, l’un des objectifs de la COFAE.
La mobilité des programmateurs permet d’inviter les agents qui, pour des raisons diverses, n’ont pas assisté à certaines foire associées,
