Tasks: - Obtain pre-defined (non-life) statistical information from selected insurance companies across the globe and validate information - Assess sustainability of Global Automotive Insurance programs (i. e. premium rates required and cash reserves and liabilities necessary to ensure payment of future claims) - Collaborate with program managers, underwriters, accountants, claims experts and senior management to help companies develop plans for new lines of business or improving existing business lines - Structure insurance statistical data in order to provide input for strategic discussions. Cross examination of data tailored towards specific needs and as input for discussion with Global/Regional/Local insurance management, vehicle sales, after sales - Develop and maintain databases on relevant information - Provide technical expertise, research and direction on specific insurance coverages, loss prevention techniques, and/or supervises a geographic portfolio of claims related to specific coverage(s) with limited direction - Explain complex technical matters to company executives, local management (program comparisons, alternative risk finance solutions) - Compile and publish performance reports (quantitative, qualitative including interpretation and performance improvement recommendations) Requirements: - Candidate needs a university degree with a strong background in mathematics and statistics, actuary degree preferred, courses in insurance law and accounting desired - Strong written and oral communication skills as this position will require frequent interaction with senior management as well as individuals outside of the organization - Highly numerate with the ability to analyse complex country motor insurance portfolios - Experience in project management - Candidate must possess the organizational skills and discipline required to integrate division level activities to leverage strengths and promote success in all areas of business development operations - High cross-cultural working experience and sensitivity (min. 1 year spent abroad) - SAS or SPSS or similar analytical database tools - Dynamic character, highly organised, ability to stay calm under pressure, excellent presentation skills, social competence - Fluent and negotiation proof in both English and German, ideally third language Dieses Stellenangebot finden Sie unter der Ausschreibungsnummer 90935 Wir freuen uns auf Ihre Online-Bewerbung unter www.career.daimler.de
