CREATIVE CONCEPTS
The new investment year traditionally kicks off when the Swiss
financial community comes together at Zurich’s Kongresshaus at
the beginning of February. In 2017 too, Switzerland’s largest financial fair is likely to see large numbers descend on Zurich’s Kongresshaus. “Creative concepts” are called for if investors are to
enjoy strong and secure investment performance in today’s
very challenging current environment. So why not present your
concepts to investors at FINANZ’17?
The 18th staging of Switzerland’s largest financial fair earlier this
year attracted a new record audience. In total, FINANZ’16 attracted 6,600 professional and private investors – the highest figure
since 2013, when the fair was reduced from three days to two. No
less than 100% of the exhibitors were satisfied with the number of
visitors this year, as shown by our survey carried out after the
event. The number of exhibitors has also been rising continuously
every year, which obviously pleases us greatly. While a total of
97 exhibitors showcased their offerings at FINANZ’12, as many
as 125 were present this year (see graph). At FINANZ’17 too we
are expecting a new record number of exhibitors, with our survey
indicating that 98% of this year’s exhibitors are planning to be present once again next year. So secure your place at the Kongresshaus as early as possible by completing the attached registration
form.
As a financial services provider at the financial fair on 1 and 2 February 2017, you will have the opportunity to meet both existing
and future clients. And it doesn’t matter whether you are interested
in professional or private investors, as FINANZ’17 will attract
plenty of visitors from both camps. What investors need in challenging market phases are “creative concepts”. Negative interest rates,
ailing economies, high national debt burdens, and uncertain equity
markets all pose a challenge to the financial industry. In addition to
ensuring the best possible investment performance, the focus must
be above all on minimizing risks for clients. We are fascinated to see
how you will respond to the forthcoming challenges, and look forward to our direct exchanges with both you and your clients.
On the Public Day of next year’s fair, we will offer you even more
events than before. Specifically, as the event organizer, we will from
now on be staging an even greater number of panel debates for
private investors – with the participation of numerous interesting
experts and specialists. The aim here is to give our audience the
very latest real-world information and advice on current topics.
