Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
• Beachten Sie bei der Montage und der Verwendung von Werkzeugen deren Bedienungsanleitung und
Sicherheitshinweise.
• Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen, dieses könnte für Kinder zu einem
gefährlichen Spielzeug werden.
• Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Produkt um, durch Stöße, Schläge oder dem Fall aus bereits geringer
Höhe wird es beschädigt.
Montage
Das „LED-Modul 3W“ ist ein betriebsfertiges Leuchtmittel mit Kühlkörpergehäuse und integrierter Reflektor-Optik. Das Licht wird mittels einer leistungsstarken Luxeon®-LED erzeugt. Das Produkt ist nur zum
Anschluss an eine geeignete Konstantstromquelle mit max. 700mA geeignet. Es darf nicht an herkömmliche Niederspannungs- oder Hochspannungs-Halogensysteme angeschlossen werden!
Beachten Sie alle Sicherheits- und Montagehinweise dieser Bedienungsanleitung.

Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht
werden, erlischt der Garantieanspruch! Für Folgeschäden übernehmen wir keine

Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder
Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht werden, übernehmen wir keine
Haftung! In solchen Fällen erlischt jeder Garantieanspruch.
• Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen und/oder Verändern des Produkts nicht
gestattet. Dieses Modul ist eine „nicht-CE-geprüfte“ Komponente. Bei der Anwendung müssen die CENormen eingehalten werden.
• Das Produkt darf nur an einer Konstantstromquelle (Vorschaltgerät) mit mit einem Strom von max.
700mA betrieben werden.
Beachten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
• Der Montageort muss fest und stabil sein. Überlegen Sie sich die Anordnung des LED-Moduls z.B. an
der Raumdecke.
• Montieren Sie ein geeignetes Vorschaltgerät (Konstantstromquelle).
Das LED-Modul ist nur zum Betrieb an einer Konstantstromquelle (max. 700mA)
geeignet. Es darf nicht an einem herkömmlichen Halogentrafo oder gar an der
Netzspannung betrieben werden!
Andernfalls wird das LED-Modul zerstört, Verlust von Garantie/Gewährleistung!
• Wie im Bild oben gezeigt ist der Alustreifen entsprechend zu biegen.

• Setzen Sie den Bügel wie gezeigt zusammen. Der Schwenkbereich bei Decken-/Wandmontage
beträgt ca. 60°.
• Montieren Sie das LED-Modul mittels einer Schraube z.B. an der Decke. Verlegen Sie die beiden
Zuleitungen so, dass sie nicht durch die Halterung beschädigt werden können.
Zum Anschluss der beiden Kabel am LED-Modul (rot = plus/+, schwarz = minus/-) sind geeignete
Zuleitungen erforderlich (Querschnitt mind. 0,5mm², bei größeren Leitungslängen größere Querschnitte verwenden).
Verbinden Sie die Kabel z.B. über eine Klemmleiste oder verlöten Sie die Kabel, verwenden Sie dann
Schrumpfschläuche, um einen Kurzschluss zu vermeiden.
Wartung, Handhabung, Betrieb
Das Produkt ist wartungsfrei, zerlegen Sie es niemals.
Gelegentlich kann die Linse des LED-Moduls mit einem sauberen, weichen, trockenen Tuch von Staub
befreit werden. Staub am Kühlkörper kann sehr einfach mit einem sauberen, langhaarigen Pinsel entfernt
werden.
Bevor eine Reinigung durchgeführt wird, ist die Stromversorgung abzuschalten und mind.
20 Minuten zu warten, damit sich das LED-Modul abgekühlt hat.
• Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Lassen Sie deshalb in Anwesenheit von Kindern besondere Vorsicht
walten.
Das Produkt ist so zu montieren, dass es außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern liegt.
• Blicken Sie niemals in den Lichtstrahl, richten Sie niemals die Lampe auf Personen oder Tiere. Es
besteht die Gefahr von Netzhautschädigungen!
• Fassen Sie das Produkt bei Betrieb nicht an, Verbrennungsgefahr! Lassen Sie das Produkt erst
ausreichend lange abkühlen, wenn Sie es z.B. verstellen bzw. auswechseln.
• Das Produkt darf nicht feucht oder nass werden, es ist nur für den Betrieb in Innenräumen geeignet.
Biegen Sie ihn nicht mehr zurück, da ansonsten Bruchgefahr besteht.
Entsorgung

Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.
• Beachten Sie bei der Montage, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht geknickt, gequetscht oder durch
scharfe Kanten beschädigt wird. Außerdem ist die Anschlussleitung so zu verlegen, dass sie das LEDModul nicht berührt (Brandgefahr).
• Montieren Sie das LED-Modul so, dass ein ausreichender Sicherheitsabstand zu brennbaren Oberflächen/Materialien (Holz, Tapete, elektrische Kabel, Isolationsmaterial usw.) eingehalten wird; zu allen
Seiten mindestens 10cm. Decken Sie das Produkt niemals ab.
Vor Einbau in brennbare Oberflächen (z.B. Holzdecke) informieren Sie sich bei dem jeweiligen
Hersteller/Verkäufer darüber, ob der Einbau und Betrieb des LED-Moduls möglich ist. Andernfalls darf
das LED-Modul dort nicht montiert werden.
Das LED-Modul eignet sich zur Installation in oder an Werkstoffen mit unbekannten WerkstoffEntflammverhalten, wenn durch geeignete Maßnahmen gewährleistet ist, dass an den Befestigungsflächen bei normalem Betrieb 90°C und im Fehlerfall 115°C nicht überschritten wird (außer sie tragen
das „MM“-Zeichen).
Es darf sich kein Isolationsmaterial in der näheren Umgebung des LED-Moduls befinden, dies führt zu
einem Hitzestau. Es besteht Brandgefahr!
Zwischen LED-Modul und Vorschaltgerät bzw. zu anderen Leuchtmitteln muss ein Mindestabstand von
20cm eingehalten werden. Gefahr von Überhitzung, Brandgefahr!
• Die Strahlungswärme des LED-Moduls kann bei Betrieb Einfluss auf das Material- und Farbverhalten
von Oberflächen haben. Empfehlenswert ist in jedem Fall, das Verhalten der Oberfläche am Montageort vor der endgültigen Montage zu prüfen.
• Zwischen der Austrittsöffnung des Lichtstrahls aus dem LED-Modul und der bestrahlten Oberfläche
muss ein Mindestabstand von 50cm eingehalten werden. Andernfalls besteht Brandgefahr! Richten
Sie den Lichtstrahl niemals auf leicht entflammbare Gegenstände (z.B. Vorhänge).
• In gewerblichen Einrichtungen sind die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften des Verbandes der gewerblichen
Berufsgenossenschaften für elektrische Anlagen und Betriebsmittel zu beachten.

Prescribed use
The ”LED Module 3W” is an illuminant with a heat dissipating housing and an integrated reflector ready
for operation. The light is generated by a powerful Luxeon® LED. The product may only be connected to
a suitable constant-current source with a maximum of 700mA. It must not be connected to conventional
low-voltage or high-voltage halogen systems.
Please take note of all safety instructions and installation notes in these operating instructions.

Take note of all the safety notes in these operating instructions!
• The place of installation must be firm and stable. Think about the arrangement of the LED module, for
example at the ceiling, beforehand.
• Mount a suitable control gear (constant-current source).
The LED module must only be operated at a constant- current source (700mA max.).
It must not be connected to a conventional halogen transformer or even to the mains
voltage!

Safety instructions
In case of any damages which are caused due to failure to observe these operating
instructions, the guarantee will expire! We do not assume any liability for resulting
damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused by
improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! The guarantee will
expire in any such case!
Otherwise, the LED will be destroyed - loss of guarantee/warranty!
• As illustrated above, the aluminium strips must be bent accordingly.

• Put the brackets together as shown. When mounted to the wall or ceiling, the swinging range is about
60°.
• Mount the LED module to the ceiling etc. with a screw. Place the two feed cables in such a way that they
cannot be damaged by the support fixture.
For connecting the two feed cables in the LED module (red = plus/+, black = minus/-) suitable cables
are necessary (minimum cross section 0.5mm², if the lines are longer, use greater cross sections).
Connect the cables with a terminal strip for example, or solder the cables, use stocking tubes to prevent
a short-circuit.
Maintenance, handling, operation
The product does not require any maintenance. You should never take it apart..
You can remove dust from the lens of the LED module from time to time with a clean, soft, and dry cloth.
Remove dust from the heat dissipator with a dry, long-haired brush.
Before cleaning the product, switch off the power source and wait at least 20 minutes to let
the LED module cool down.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of safety
reasons. This module is a “non-CE-checked” component. The utilisation must comply with the CE
norms.
• The product may only be operated at a constant-current source (control gear) with a maximum current
of 700mA.
• The product is not a toy. Be especially careful when children are around.
The product must be mounted out of reach of children.
• Never look directly into the light beam and never direct the lamp to people or animals. There is a risk
of damages to the retina.
Do not bend them more or they might break.
Disposal

Please dispose of the unserviceable device according to the current statutory requirements.
• Do not touch the product during operation: risk of burns! Have the product cool down long enough
before you rotate or replace it etc.
• The product must not get damp or wet, it is suitable for indoor use only.
• Make sure when mounting, that the connecting cable is not bent, jammed or damaged by sharp edges.
Install the connecting cable in such a way that it does not touch the LED module (danger of fire).
• Install the LED module in such a way as to allow for a sufficient safety distance to flammable surfaces/
materials (wood, carpets, electrical cables, insulation material etc.). The distance must be 10cm
minimum to all sides. Never cover the unit.
Before mounting the product in flammable surfaces (e.g. wooden ceilings) ask the correspondent
manufacturer/seller if the installation and the operation of the LED module is possible under these
conditions. If it is not possible, the LED module must not be installed.
The LED module can be mounted in or on materials with unknown properties as to flammability, if it is
guaranteed, through appropriate measures, that the temperature on the mounting surfaces does not
exceed 90°C in normal operation and 115°C in case of a fault (unless marked with ”MM”).
No insulation material must be in the direct proximity of the LED module, as this would cause heat to
accumulate. There is a danger of fire!
Between the LED module and the control gear or other lighting fixtures, there must be at least 20cm.
Danger of overload; danger of fire!
• The radiant heat of the LED module can, during operation, affect the material and the colour of the
surfaces. It is recommended, at any rate, to check the behaviour of surfaces at the place of installation
before the final installation.
• A minimum clearance of 50cm must be kept between the outlet of the light beam from the LED module
and the illuminated surface. Otherwise, there is a danger of fire! Never direct the light beam on easily
flammable objects (e.g. curtains).
• In industrial facilities, the safety regulations laid down by the professional trade association for electrical
equipment and facilities must be adhered to.
• When installing the product and operating tools observe the corresponding operating and safety
instructions.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous playing material for children!
