Lens Replacement Manual
■ Lens replacement should be performed by a service engineer.
■ When changing the lens, place the LCD projector right way up on a horizontal surface. Do not change the lens with the projector facing upwards or downwards or when
the projector is suspended.

1. P
reparing to attach the lens (1)
Lens adapter
Take the lens adapter supplied with the
LCD projector and mount it so that the
connector on the lens is aligned with the
socket of the lens adapter.
Caution:

■ Be careful not to touch the surface of
the lens.

■ Do not touch the socket of the lens
adapter or subject it to impact as this

■ Do not hold the lens by the lens shade
as this may lead to injury or malfunction.
■ Be sure to remove the tape fixing the hexagonal screw on the lens.
■ Be sure to remove the lens cap. Installing the lens in the LCD projector with the lens
cap on may lead to malfunction.

Using the hexagon wrench supplied with
the LCD projector, attach the lens adapter
with the four hexagon screws on the lens.
Connect the connector on the lens to the
socket of the lens adapter.
6. Attaching the lens (2)
Support the lens installed in the LCD
projector and move the lock lever on the
projector as far as it will go to the right
(until the lock lever clicks into the locked
position).
Caution:
■ To prevent the lens from falling off,
after attaching the lens, check that it
is securely mounted and that the lock
lever does not move.
7. Assembling the main unit parts (1)
Insert the two catches on the front cover
into the LCD projector body to attach the
front cover.

Have the two protectors supplied with the
lens ready and insert the first protector
between the front ring and the lens.

3. Preparing to attach the lens (3)

projector and remove the cap.

lens ready and mount it on the lens
shade.
Rotate the attached blinder to the
underside of the lens and mount the
second blinder on the lens shade in the
same way.

1. Check the surrounding focus
When an image is projected onto the

screen after the LENS-067 lens has
been installed in the LCD projector, the

relation to the center.
If this happens, adjust the flange-back
(FB) of the lens. The surrounding focus
can be corrected by adjusting the flangeback.
Caution:
■ As the flange-back has already been
adjusted at the factory prior to shipping, do not adjust more than necessary.
2. Remove the lens
Place the detached lens on a soft cloth
or similar.

Using the small hexagon pin supplied
with the lens, loosen the setscrew on the
fixing ring and unscrew the fixing ring.
7. Insert the FB adjustment pin
Insert the supplied FB adjustment pin in
the FB adjustment window on the lens.

9. Prepare for flange-back adjustment
Project the image for adjustment from the
LCD projector onto the screen. Move the
FB adjustment pin slowly clockwise or
counterclockwise and adjust the flangeback while checking the projected image,
until the center of the image comes into
focus.
5. Loosen the temporary fixing screw (1)
Using the large hexagon pin supplied
with the lens, loosen the temporary fixing
screw on the underside.
Caution:
■ Do not loosen the temporary fixing
screw on the top until the lens is
installed in the LCD projector.
6. Install the lens
Follow the procedures in attaching the
Lens and install the lens in the LCD
projector.
Position the LCD projector at the desired
projection distance or desired projection
size.

10. Adjust the flange-back
If the surrounding area in the near
screen is in focus while the center of the
image is in focus, follow the procedure
below to adjust the flange-back.
(1) U
se the LCD projector remote
control or control panel to adjust the
surrounding focus in the + (plus)
direction.
(2) M
ove the FB adjustment pin slowly
counterclockwise until the center
comes into focus.
(3) C
heck the surrounding focus.
(4) If the surrounding area is still not in
focus, repeat steps (1) through (3)
above.
If the surrounding area in the far screen
is in focus while the center of the image
is in focus, follow the procedure below to
adjust the flange-back.
(1) U
se the LCD projector remote
controller or operation panel to adjust
the surrounding focus in the - (minus)
direction.
(2) M
ove the FB adjustment pin slowly
clockwise until the center comes into
focus.
(3) C
heck the surrounding focus.
(4) If the surrounding area is still not in
focus, repeat steps (1) through (3)
above.

12. Fix the flange-back adjustment (2)
Remove the lens, which is fixed
temporarily with the screw on the top,
and place it on a soft cloth or similar.
Tighten the temporary fixing screw on the
underside in the same way.
Using the small hexagon pin, tighten the
three setscrews on the lens body.

4. Loosen the setscrews
Using the small hexagon pin supplied
with the lens, loosen the three setscrews
for fixing the lens body.

Using the large hexagon pin, loosen the
temporary fixing screw on the top.

adjustment, use the large hexagon pin to
tighten the temporary fixing screw on the
top.
Mount the fixing ring on the lens and
screw on. Mount the fixing ring with the
threaded side facing down.

16. Install the lens
Follow the procedure in attaching the
Lens to complete installation of the lens
in the LCD projector.
(The two blinders and two protectors are
not supplied with the LENS-067 lens.)

wenn der Projektor nach oben oder unten geneigt steht oder unter einer Decke hängt.
Montage des Objektivs LENS-062/LENS-068/LENS-064/LENS-063 beim Auspacken des LCD-Projektors
1. Vorbereitung zur Montage des Objektivs (1) Objektivadapter
Den mit dem LCD-Projektor gelieferten
Objektivadapter so am Objektiv

Die beiden Nasen an der Frontabdeckung Nase

vermeiden, nach der Anbringung
kontrollieren, dass es fest sitzt und der
Verriegelungshebel gut eingerastet ist.

1. Abmontieren von Teilen an der Haupteinheit (1)
Den Frontring abdrehen.
Vorsicht:
■ Vor dem Auswechseln des Objektivs unbedingt
den LCD-Projektor ausschalten.
■ Das Objektiv per Objektivverschiebung wieder in
Mittelstellung bringen.
Wie das Objektiv wieder in Mittelstellung verschoben
wird, ist in der Bedienungsanleitung des LCDProjektors beschrieben.
1. Entfernen von Sonderzubehörteilen (1)
Die Schutzabdeckung um 90° drehen,
bis die Nase oben ist.
Vorsicht:
■ Vor dem Auswechseln des Objektivs unbedingt
den LCD-Projektor ausschalten.
■ Das Objektiv per Objektivverschiebung wieder
in Mittelstellung bringen. Wie das Objektiv
wieder in Mittelstellung verschoben wird, ist in
der Bedienungsanleitung des LCD-Projektors
beschrieben.

1. Schärfe im Umfeld
Wenn nach Montage des Objektivs
LENS-067 ein Bild projiziert wird, kann
das Umfeld im Vergleich zur Bildmitte

unscharf erscheinen.
In diesem Fall das Auflagemaß (FB
= engl. Flange Back) des Objektivs
einstellen. Eine eventuelle Unschärfe des
Umfelds lässt sich durch Verändern des
Auflagemaßes korrigieren.

Das Auflagemaß wurde werkseitig
voreingestellt und sollte nur im Bedarfsfall nachjustiert werden.

Das ausgebaute Objektiv auf einem
wichen Lappen o. dgl. ablegen.
Vorsicht:
■ Vor dem Auswechseln des Objektivs
unbedingt den LCD-Projektor
ausschalten.
■ Das Objektiv per Objektivverschiebung
wieder in Mittelstellung bringen. Wie
das Objektiv wieder in Mittelstellung
verschoben wird, ist in der
Bedienungsanleitung des LCD-Projektors beschrieben.
3. Den Fixierring entfernen
Mit dem kleinen Inbusschlüssel, der im
Lieferumfang des Objektivs enthalten ist,
die Feststellschraube am Fixierring lösen
und den Fixierring abschrauben.

7. Das FB-Einstellwerkzeug einführen

9. Die Auflagemaß-Einstellung vorbereiten
Zur Einstellung ein Bild vom LCDProjektor auf den Bildschirm projizieren.

10. Das Auflagemaß justieren
Wenn die Bildmitte scharf ist, der Punkt
der schärfsten Abbildung des Umfelds
jedoch vor dem Bildschirm liegt, das
Auflagemaß wie folgt einstellen.

scharf abgebildet werden, die obigen
Schritte (1) bis (3) wiederholen.
Wenn die Bildmitte scharf ist, der Punkt
der schärfsten Abbildung des Umfelds
jedoch hinter dem Bildschirm liegt, das
Auflagemaß wie folgt einstellen.

1. レンズの取り付け準備 (1)
液晶プロジェクタ本体に同梱のレンズアダ
プタを取り出し、レンズに付いているコネ
クタと、レンズアダプタのソケットの方向
が一致するように挿入してください。

7. 本体部品の組立 (1)
液晶プロジェクタ本体のフロントリングを
回転させて取り外し、キャップを取り出し
ます。

と同様の手順を行い、液晶プロジェクタ本
体にレンズを取り付けてください。

液晶プロジェクタ本体に同梱の六角レンチを使
用し、レンズの六角ネジ (4 本 ) をゆるめ、レン
ズアダプタを取り外します。
交換するレンズ「LENS-067/LENS-066/LENS065」を用意し、「本体開梱時の LENS-062/LENS068/LENS-064/LENS-063 取り付け作業」1 から
2 と同様の手順を行い、交換するレンズにレン
ズアダプタを取り付けてください。
4. 本体部品の取り外し

２と同様の手順を行い、交換するレンズにレン

レンズを支えながら、液晶プロジェクタ本体か
らレンズを取り外します。

（LENS-067 にはブラインダ 2 枚とプロテクタ 2 枚は付属しておりません。）
7.FB( フランジバック ) 調整ピンを挿入する
周辺
液晶プロジェクタ本体に LENS-067 を取り
付けてスクリーンに投写した際、中心に
対し、周辺のフォーカスがずれている場
合があります。
このような現象が発生した場合、レンズ
の FB( フランジバック ) 調整を行ってくだ
さい。FB 調整を行うことで、周辺のフォー
カスのずれを補正することができます。

下側の仮固定用ネジをゆるめてください。
【注意】
・液晶プロジェクタ本体にレンズを取り付
けるまでは、上側の仮固定ネジはゆるめ
ないでください。
6. レンズを取り付ける
「レンズの取り付け作業」の手順に従い、
液晶プロジェクタ本体にレンズを取り付
けてください。
また、設置したい投写距離、または投写
サイズに液晶プロジェクタ本体を設置し
てください。

液晶プロジェクタ本体から調整用の映像を
スクリーンに投写し、FB 調整ピンを時計回
りまたは反時計回りにゆっくりと動かし、
投写映像を確認しながら、中心のフォーカ
スが合うように FB 調整を行ってください。

取り付けてください。固定用リングは、ネ
ジが切ってある方を下側にしてください。
10.FB( フランジバック ) を調整する
中心のフォーカスが合っている状態で、周辺
のフォーカスがスクリーンの「手前側」で合
う場合は下記手順にて調整してください。
①液晶プロジェクタ本体のリモコンまたは
操作パネルで周辺のフォーカスを＋ ( プ
ラス ) 方向へ調整して合わせます。
② FB 調整ピンを反時計回りにゆっくりと
動かし、中心のフォーカスを合わせます。
③周辺のフォーカスを確認します。
④もし周辺のフォーカスが合わない場合
は、上記①から③をくり返してください。

3. 固定用リングを取り外す

レンズに同梱の六角ピン ( 小 ) を使用し、
固定用リングのいもネジ 1 個所をゆるめ、
固定用リングを回しながら取り外してくだ
さい。
4. 固定用いもネジをゆるめる
FB 調整にて合わせたフォーカスを固定す
るため、六角ピン ( 大 ) を使用し、仮固定
用ネジ ( 上側 ) を固定してください。
8. 仮固定用ネジをゆるめる (2)
「レンズの交換作業」の手順に従い、レン
ズを取り外し、柔らかい布などの上に置い
てください。

2. レンズを取り外す
①液晶プロジェクタ本体のリモコンまたは
操作パネルで周辺のフォーカスを－ ( マ
イナス ) 方向へ調整して合わせます。
② FB 調整ピンを時計回りにゆっくりと動
かし、中心のフォーカスを合わせます。
③周辺のフォーカスを確認します。
④もし周辺のフォーカスが合わない場合
は、上記①から③をくり返してください。
16.レンズを取り付ける
「レンズの取り付け作業」に従い、液晶プ
ロジェクタ本体へレンズを取り付けて完了
です。
