We are happy to announce the next three seminars in the series of seminars we are
offering together with the Centre for Psychological Astrology, London, since 1985.
The seminars are held at Hotel Zürichberg, Orellistr. 21, 8044 Zürich,
phone +41-1-268 35 35, fax +41-1-268 35 45.
If accomodation is required, please book directly with the hotel. Hotel Zürichberg is near the Zürich zoo, terminal
stop of tram lines 5 and 6.
Fee, Registration
The fee is sFr. 150.- per seminar. Please, use the enclosed registration form to register or write an e-mail to
„[email protected]“. On cancellation up to 14 days before the seminar the prepaid amount is returned less sFr. 20.for administration cost, on later cancellation only when another participant is provided. Coffee or tea and croissant
in the morning break are included. The seminars are held in English without translation.
Participants are welcome to bring their charts on transparencies for the overhead projector.

How to be a Fly on the Wall: Exploring the Air Houses
The air houses are generally known as houses of „relationship“, yet they do not pertain to human feeling. They are
also sometimes Airfly called the „social“ houses, yet they are not concerned with emotional interaction between
human beings.
What, then, are they really about? What do we mean when we use terms such as „communication“ and „education“
in relation to the 3rd house? What role do siblings play in our psychological development? What is an 11th house
„group“, and who gets invited to join? And when we describe the 7th house as „partners“, who is really described
by planets placed at this angle of the birth chart? The air houses, like the element they represent, are subtle and
elusive, and those with planets placed here have particular gifts they need to develop and particular difficulties in
making peace with the world as it is.
This seminar will examine the meaning of the air houses and the planets in them, natally and in transit and progression,
through myth, psychological patterns and individual case material.

Under a different heaven: A psychological exploration of Relocation Charts
Different places, like different people, bring out different facets of our personalities. Although our birth horoscope
reflects our essential self, even a short stay in a new location can heighten certain dimensions of our character,
sometimes with happy results and sometimes with uncomfortable ones. The study of relocation charts is fascinating,
and increasingly relevant as the world‘s population becomes more and more mobile, but these charts are not often
dealt with on a deeper psychological level.
This seminar will explore how changes in place can shift the angles and house cusps of the birth chart, so that the
planetary patterns which reflect our innate character and development process are expressed on different levels and
in different ways in different places.

Romancing the Stone: Alchemy and the Birth Chart
The Philosophers‘ Stone is more than the object of Harry Potter‘s quest. It is an ancient symbol of the integrated
individual, formed from the raw material of the birth horoscope and transformed through conscious awareness and
effort.
This seminar will explore the fascinating symbolism of alchemy and the ways in which it can shed light on the
deeper meaning and purpose of natal configurations and the potentials inherent in even the most difficult transits
and progressions. The stages of the alchemical opus are also relevant in making sense of the sometimes frightening
cycles operating within the collective psyche, and an understanding of what these stages mean in terms of collective
as well as individual psychology can help us find a more creative and balanced perspective on ourselves and on
the worldly events going on around us.

sind Teil einer Reihe, die wir seit 1985 zusammen mit dem Centre for Psychological
Astrology in London anbieten.

befindet sich in der Nähe des Zoos an der Endstation der Tramlinien 5 und 6.

Der Preis beträgt Fr. 150.- pro Seminar; bitte melden Sie sich schriftlich mit beiliegendem Anmeldeformular
oder per Email an „[email protected]“ an. Bei Abmeldung bis zu 14 Tagen vor dem Seminar wird der
bereits bezahlte Betrag unter Abzug von Fr. 20.- zurückbezahlt, bei späterer Abmeldung nur, wenn ein/
eine Ersatzteilnehmer/in gestellt wird. Kaffee oder Tee und Gipfeli in der Vormittagspause sind inbegriffen.
Die Seminare werden in Englisch ohne Übersetzung gehalten.

Wie die Fliege an der Wand: Die Luft-Häuser entdecken
Die Lufthäuser sind allgemein als „Beziehungshäuser“ bekannt, und doch sie beziehen sich nicht auf Gefühle.
Sie werden auch manchmal „soziale Häuser“ genannt, und dennoch geht es bei ihnen nicht um den emotionalen
Austausch zwischen Menschen.
Worum geht es dann wirklich bei den Lufthäusern? Was meinen wir damit, wenn wir Worte wie „Kommunikation“
und „Bildung“ im Zusammenhang mit dem dritten Haus benutzen? Welche Rolle spielen Geschwister in unserer
psychologischen Entwicklung? Was ist eine „Gruppe“ im Sinne des elften Hauses, und wer wird dazu eingeladen?
Und wer wird wirklich durch die Planeten im siebten Haus der „Partnerschaft“ beschrieben? Die Lufthäuser sind subtil
und schwer zu greifen, wie das Element, dem sie zugeordnet sind. Und wer Planeten dort hat, muss bestimmte Talente
entwickeln und bestimmte Schwierigkeiten überwinden, um die Welt einfach so zu nehmen, wie sie ist.
Dieses Seminar untersucht die Bedeutung der Lufthäuser und der Planeten in ihnen, sowohl im Radix als auch in
Transiten und Progressionen, im Mythos, in psychologischen Mustern und persönlichen Fallbeispielen.

Unter einem anderen Himmel: Relokationshoroskope psychologisch betrachtet
Andere Orte, eben so wie andere Menschen, bringen unterschiedliche Facetten unserer Persönlichkeit hervor. Obwohl
das Geburtshoroskop unsere grundlegende Persönlichkeit widerspiegelt, kann sogar schon ein kurzer Aufenthalt an
einem neuen Ort bestimmte Dimensionen unseres Wesens besonders betonen - manchmal mit erfreulichen Auswirkungen
und manchmal auch mit unbequemen. Die Beschäftigung mit Relokationshoroskopen ist faszinierend und wird mit
zunehmender Mobilität der Weltbevölkerung immer wichtiger. Doch häufig wird dabei die tiefere, psychologische
Dimension dieser Horoskope außer Acht gelassen.
Im Seminar erforschen wir, wie Ortsveränderungen die Achsen und Häuserspitzen im Geburtshoroskop verschieben
können, so dass die Planetenmuster, die unser innerstes Wesen und unsere Entwicklungstendenzen kennzeichnen,
sich an anderen Orten auf andere Art und Weise ausgedrücken.

Der Stein der Weisen: Alchemie und das Geburtshoroskop
Der Stein der Weisen bietet nicht nur Stoff für Harry Potters Abenteuer. Er ist ein altes Symbol für das ganz gewordene,
voll integrierte Individuum, das aus dem Rohmaterial des Geburtshoroskops geformt ist und sich in ständigem Bemühen
und wachsendem Bewusstsein verwandelt.
Dieses Seminar erforscht die faszinierende Symbolik der Alchemie und wie sie die tiefere Bedeutung der
Geburtskonstellationen und das Potential beleuchten kann, das selbst in den schwierigsten Transiten und Progressionen
steckt. Die Phasen der alchemistischen Transformation können uns auch dabei unterstützen, die manchmal beängstigenden
Zyklen zu verstehen, die in der kollektiven Psyche wirksam sind. Wenn wir begreifen, was diese Phasen in bezug
auf die kollektive und die individuelle Psyche bedeuten, können wir eine kreativere und ausgeglichenere Perspektive
auf uns selbst und die Weltereignisse gewinnen.
