The „Super-Star der DBA“ contest during the German Pigeon Exhibition is
a selection of currently the best pigeons, which – each of them individually
– have left their marks in the history of sports flights and breeding of racing
pigeons. This is undoubtedly an unrepeatable presentation of the outstanding and exceptional athletes.

After an initial selection of candidates by the jury, contenders to the
„Superstar der DBA” title will be presented to the audience during the
Matador Show. Every visitor will have an opportunity to vote then. The
winning pigeon will be granted the „Superstar der DBA 2012” title and will be
distinguished with the Superstar trophy.

It is the second largest German exhibition of thoroughbred pigeons after
the National Pigeon Show of the German Association of Racing Pigeon
Breeders.
Long-term and constructive cooperation with the German Association
of Racing Pigeon Breeders produced fruitful results. As early as during
the 1st „VDT-Revierschau” show, the “Rote Erde” association presented
2,5 thousand pigeons. This international exhibition has already earned a
great interest within the environment of racial pigeon breeders from all
over Europe. Recently the Association has consisted of over 25 thousand
members. For these breeders our large industry exhibition is a special
