Consist Software Solution has reached
the jury level for Germany's most important business award
IT company Consist Software Solutions, with its headquarters in
Kiel, has now reached the second level in the nationally recognized
competition "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" (Grand Prix of Small
and Medium Business). In doing so, Consist belongs to the best of
the 89 companies nominated in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg.
Kiel – Following its nomination, Consist Software Solutions has now
reached the second level in the competition "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" (Grand Prix of Small and Medium Business). "We are very
happy about this distinction. We view it as a confirmation of our efforts
and as a significant motivation", commented Consist Managing Director
Martin Lochte-Holtgreven when receiving the certificate on 15 June 2011
from Gisela Heumann from the Jury for the competition regions Lower
Saxony/Bremen and Schleswig-Holstein/Hamburg.

also made the step to the jury level.
No business may nominate itself for the award; rather it must be nominated by a third party. Only approximately one in thousand businesses
in Germany is nominated. Just by being nominated, a business is included among the business elite in Germany according to the OskarPatzelt-Stiftung.
Many institutions nominate companies for the Oskar-Patzelt-Stiftung's
"Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” (Grand Prix of Small and Medium
Business) in order to show their recognition and respect to small and
medium-sized businesses. Consist Software Solutions was nominated
by the KiWi, Kieler Wirtschaftsförderungs- und Strukturentwicklungs
GmbH.
In the coming weeks, jurors from the Oskar-Patzelt-Stiftung will select up
to three award winners and up to five finalists for each region of the
competition. The awards ceremony for Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein will
take place on 24 September 2011. Only then will the winning businesses and the public learn of the jury's decision.
Criteria for success
In its 17th year, the Oskar-Patzelt-Stiftung's "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" (Grand Prix of Small and Medium Business) is searching for

the best medium-sized companies. Businesses were nominated which
excelled in the competition's five categories: overall performance of the
business, creation/securing of jobs and training opportunities, modernization and innovation, commitment to the region as well as service, customer proximity and marketing.

The Oskar-Patzelt-Stiftung has the following objectives: Supporting a
culture of self-sufficiency under the theme "Healthy medium-sized business sector - Strong economy - More jobs" as well as respect, regard for
and recognition of entrepreneurial efforts and business virtues. In 2008,
German president Horst Köhler honored the Stiftung for its support of
entrepreneurial medium-sized businesses by means of the competition
