April 2012 Auris AG ernennt Klaus Eckhof zum technischen Direktor, verantwortlich für die Leitung der Exploration Auris AG exploriert über seine 100%-ige Tochtergesellschaft Auris Congo S.P.R.L. auf einem Lizenzgebiet von rund 3.250qkm = 325.000 ha das bekannte Pangoy Projekt im weltberühmten Goldgürtel im Osten des Kongo (DRC). Auris AG hat 30 Mio. Aktien ausstehend. Diese werden an der Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse im Open Market gehandelt (ISIN: CH0112933400; WKN: A1CYLE). Der Verwaltungsrat der Auris AG freut sich bekannt zu geben, dass der renommierte Geologe Klaus Eckhof für die Leitung der Exploration gewonnen werden konnte. Damit ist der Gesellschaft ein strategisch wichtiger Schritt gelungen, da Herr Eckhoff ein exzellenter Kenner des Ostkongos ist. Seine wissenschaftliche Untersuchung der Geologie dieser Region führte dazu, dass das Gebiet als ein zusammenhängender Goldgürtel begriffen wurde. Auf Basis dieser Erkenntnisse führte er als technischer Vorstand die Gesellschaft Moto Goldmines Ltd. in die Feasibility Study (Projektstudie). Moto Goldmines Ltd., die 60% vom MotoProjekt besaß, wurde im Jahre 2009 beim damaligen Goldpreis von 900 US$/Unze von Randgold Resources Ltd. und Anglogold Ashanti Ltd. für US$ 500 Mio. übernommen. Daraus folgt eine Projektbewertung von US$ 833 Mio. Mittlerweile hat ein Run auf die noch verbliebenen Lizenzen in diesem Goldgürtel eingesetzt. Die großen Goldkonzerne sind ebenso vertreten wie kleinere Gesellschaften. Die langjährige Explorationserfahrung und exzellente Ortskenntnis in diesem Goldgürtel stellt nun Herr Eckhof der Auris AG zur Verfügung. Unter seiner Anleitung führt der erfahrene Geologe Maurits van den Berg die Exploration vor Ort. Aktuell arbeitet ein Team von 80 Mann an der Exploration. Wir werden über den Fortschritt berichten.
