western union® operates in over 200 countries and territories with
over 400.000 agent locations worldwide.
after you have paid for the transaction and signed the form,
the railway station employee will return your id and a copy
of the “send money” form as your receipt. on the form you
can see the money transfer control number (mtcn: ten-digit
number printed in bold) and the payout amount.
the money will be available for collection as soon as you have
been given the receipt with the mtcn. please contact your
receiver to inform her/him that the money can picked up at
any western union location in the destination country. to pick
up the money, your receiver needs to know your complete
name, the country from where the money has been sent and
the exact payout amount. it is very helpful if the receiver can
also state the mtcn. the receiver must also present an original
valid identification document.

am schalter werden alle daten ihres transfers im system erfasst
und danach wird das formular «geldversand» gedruckt.
nachdem sie den überweisungsbetrag bezahlt und das formular
unterzeichnet haben, gibt ihnen die mitarbeiterin/der mitarbeiter
ihren ausweis zurück und händigt ihnen eine kopie des formulars
«geldversand» als quittung aus. auf dem formular sind die
transaktionsnummer (zehnstellige, fettgedruckte zahl) und der
auszahlungsbetrag ersichtlich.
das geld ist abholbereit, sobald sie die quittung mit der
transaktionsnummer erhalten haben. benachrichtigen sie bitte den
empfänger, dass er das geld an einem beliebigen western union
vertriebsstandort im empfängerland entgegen nehmen kann.
zu diesem zweck muss der empfänger den vollständigen namen des
senders, das ursprungsland und den genauen betrag nennen.
es ist hilfreich, wenn die person auch die transaktionsnummer*
nennen kann. zudem muss der empfänger einen gültigen ausweis
vorlegen.
geld empfangen
kommen sie bitte an einen western union vertriebsstandort
im nächstgelegenen bahnhof. sie brauchen nur eine gültige
identitätskarte oder einen gültigen pass mitzubringen. geben sie
das ursprungsland der überweisung, den vollständigen namen des
senders und den erwarteten auszahlungsbetrag an. zudem ist es
hilfreich, wenn sie auch die transaktionsnummer nennen können.
für die auszahlung prüft der mitarbeiter am bahnhof ihren ausweis
und ihre informationen. wenn das geld abholbereit ist und alle

aus.
