db ID Box
In Verbindung mit dem db Kommunikationsmodul 3500-U15 bietet diese Einheit die Möglichkeit zur Authentifizierung am Ende
einer Schrankreihe. Über die Tastatur wird die gewünschte Schranktür ausgewählt. Anschließend können, je nach Ausstattung
der ID Box, bis zu drei Berechtigungen (Fingerprint, PIN Code, Zutrittskarte) zur Authentifizierung eingegeben werden.

db ID Box
In combination with the db Communications Module 3500-U15 this unit allows to authenticate at the end of a line of cabinets.
The required cabinet door is selected via keypad. Depending on the configuration of the device, up to three credentials
(fingerprint, pin code, access card) can be entered for authentication.

Mounting db ID Box
 Locate a suitable mounting surface for the db ID Box unit which is typically on the end of a row of cabinets. A person using
the db ID Box should be able to stand directly in front of the unit without obstruction.
 Use the enclosed mounting template to mark the location for the mounting and cable pass-through holes and drill the
cabinet where the 4 mounting screws are to be fixed.
 It is important to record the serial number (sticker below keypad) and location of each db ID Box installed for latter
identification in the software db Control Cockpit.
 There is no limit to the number of db ID Boxes units that can be installed on a db Bus system, as long as:
db ID Boxes 3500-U4x + db Communication Modules 3500-U20 <= 32)
 Mount the back plate of the db ID Box unit to the cabinet using the supplied mounting hardware.
 ID Box attaches directly to the db Bus. Pass the db Bus cables from the inside of the cabinet, through the cable passthrough hole.

Wiring db ID Box to the db Bus System
 Connect the db Bus cables to the RJ-45 sockets and route
the cables as shown in Fig. 3.
 Insert the 4 mounting lugs on the front section of the db ID
Box unit into the 4 mounting holes on back section.
 Secure the db ID Box unit with the 4 supplied screws.
 The configuration of the db ID Box unit is done via db
