The innovative 3D kinematics of the io 3d
revolutionizes the approach to light. The
striking head of the io 3d is almost invisibly
linked to the angled arm. Simply touch
the heat insulated pads to freely move the
lamp with a fascinating three-dimensional
movement.

New technology creates new freedom. The
brightness of io 3d is controlled at the light
source itself, the head of the lamp. Switch
the light on or off or dim it with a simple
gesture – intuitively without touching it.

The characteristic pads of the io 3d are at
once a design and functional element: the
heat insulated grip surfaces can be used
to move the head and as they are magnetically exchangeable the lamp’s appearance
can be changed at any time – this results in
unprecedented individualization options.

The io 3d exploits the options of the latest
highly efficient LED technology in an unprecedented way. The desired light intensity
can be pre selected and then easily dimmed
using the integrated touchless sensor or a
wall dimmer. io 3d is available in a choice of
two color temperatures, changeable LED
chips make a later update simple – for an
entirely new approach to light!

surfaces of the io 3d not only offer special
optics: if you touch the head made from
solid aluminum, the surface feels silky-soft –
an entirely new haptic experience.

Der Gedanke des »joy of light« findet sich in
jedem Detail der io 3d: Die spielerische
Leichtigkeit, mit der die magnetisch fixierte
Linse mit einem einfachen Dreh gelöst wird
und alle optischen Komponenten und Farbfilter jederzeit tauschbar sind, ist neu und
absolut einzigartig. So wird Lichtgestaltung
zum Kinderspiel.
The concept of »joy of light« can be found
in every detail of the io 3d. The playful
lightness of the simple twist with which the
magnetically fixed lens can be removed
and all of the optical components and color
filters can be changed at any time is new
and absolutely unique. This makes lighting
design become a breeze.
