The company buiids and operates with biomass combined heat and power plants (CHP) for
the production of environmentaiiy-friendiy energy. The CHP are running on used cooking
oil, fat and plant oh as paim oil, rape seed oil and so on. As these fueis contain practically
no suiphur as weil as possess good lighting and burning properties, the CHP emit fewer
harmful substances than plants using fossil fuels. Furthermore the use of vegetable oil as
weil as cooking oii is CO2 neutral if used as an energy source for power production. The
eiectrical energy is inducted into the power suppiy system as eco-electricity. The extracted
heat is used for the local heating supply as weil as for a drying unit for wood chips.

Das Unternehmen errichtet und betreibt Kraft-Wärme-Koppiungsanlagen und Biomasse
Heizkraftwerke zur Produktion umweltfreundlicher Energie. Die Blockheizkraftwerke werden
mit Altspeiseöien und —fetten sowie verschiedenen Pflanzenöien betrieben. Da diese
Brennstoffe praktisch keinen Schwefel enthalten sowie gute Zünd- und Brenneigenschaften
aufweisen, wird das Blockheizkraftwerk weniger Schadstoffe emittieren, als beim Betrieb mit
fossilen Brennstoffen. Des Weiteren ist der Einsatz von Pflanzenölen sowie Altspeiseölen bei
der Nutzung als Energieträger zur Stromproduktion CO2neutrai. Die elektrische Energie wird
in
das
Stromnetz
als
Ökostrom
eingespeist.
Die
gewonnene
Wärme für
die
Nahwärmeversorgung sowie für eine Trocknungsaniage für Hoizspäne eingesetzt.
