Tour dates 2016 and new album „QUID PRO QUO“
2015 has been a remarkable year for IN EXTREMO!
The seven Berliners started conquering the stages of every European
rock and metal festival as well as every medieval pilgrimage site
exactly 20 years ago. Reason enough for infamous German TV
program WDR Rockpalast to follow the band around for the whole
anniversary year 2015 and shoot a feature-length documentary that
has been screened on German TV fairly recently. WDR Rockpalast also
filmed and broadcasted the whole „20 Wahre Jahre“ anniversary festival. There, the band
thrilled its audience (12.500 guests!) for two nights at the sold-out Loreley amphitheater
with two different sets (the first 10 and the last 10 years).
And as soon as the Loreley was restored, the band had entered the rehearsal room again
to commence work on the follow-up to 2013`s „KUNSTRAUB“ (#2 of the German Album
Charts) and prepare wholeheartedly for 2016.
The result is scheduled for a release
in the first half of 2016, will be
entitled „QUID PRO QUO“ and
released via Vertigo/Universal. It`s a
given IN EXTREMO will travel the
Seven Seas with this album, and
many illustrious festivals and
headlining spots at Summer open
airs have already been confirmed.
Tickets for the exhaustive club tour in
Autumn 2016 are also already
