We are delighted to invite you to our 14th Golf Tournament on September 3, 2016, for the benefit of Dresden
International School. This year’s benefit tournament will
be a special edition since the school is celebrating its
20th anniversary. This jubilee tournament will be 18 holes
with a shotgun start, played in Stableford mode. Nongolfers and people who are generally interested in this
sport are welcome to join a beginner’s course available at
the Dresden-Ullersdorf golf course.
Wir laden Sie herzlich zum 14. Golfturnier am
3. September 2016 zu Gunsten der Dresden
International School ein. In diesem Jahr steht das
Benefizturnier ganz im Zeichen des besonderen
Jubiläums — die Schule feiert ihr 20jähriges Bestehen.
Das Jubiläumsturnier über 18 Loch Kanonenstart,
Einzel-Zählspiel, sowie ein Schnupperkurs, für alle Sportinteressierten und Neugierigen, finden auf der Golfanlage
Dresden-Ullersdorf statt.
Following the tournament all golfers are invited to join us
for a delicious BBQ buffet and refreshing drinks. Towards
the end of the meal there will be a presentation ceremony
where great prizes are awarded to the winners.
Nach dem Turnier möchten wir alle Golfer zu einem
rustikalem BBQ einladen. Anschließend küren wir in der
Siegerehrung die besten Spieler des Tages.

PROCEEDS OF GOLF TOURNAMENT
ERLÖS DES BENEFIZ-GOLFTURNIERS
This year’s benefit event, which is organized by the
school’s Fundraising Association, aims to raise money
for the science labs. The funds raised will go towards
the financing of digital sensors and data loggers. This
technology will allow MYP and DP students to run more
sophisticated science experiments in Biology, Chemistry,
and Physics. Furthermore, the digital sensors will allow
students to collect larger quantities of data with more
precision.
Diese Benefizveranstaltung wird vom Förderverein der
Schule organisiert. Der Erlös des Events kommt den naturwissenschaftlichen Kabinetten zugute. Mit den Geldern
wird die Anschaffung von neuen Datenspeichern und digitalen Sensoren unterstützt. Diese Technologie ermöglicht
den Schülern der Secondary School, in den Klassen 6 bis
12, anspruchsvollere und komplexere Wissenschaftsexperimente in den Fächern Biologie, Chemie und Physik durchzuführen. Mit dem Einsatz solcher Sensoren, können die
Schüler größere und genauere Datenmengen sammeln.
