Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to any stay at my gîte at St-Paul-de-Fenouillet.
My tariff varies throughout the year and is reviewed with effect from 1st April each year. You are able
to book the entire house, just the upper two floors, or only the ground floor apartment, once the downstairs apartment has been fully furnished. A 33 per cent deposit is payable on booking (booking deposit). The full amount for your stay is due two months prior to arrival. In addition, I will ask you to
also pay a security deposit of 300 euro as insurance in case the property incurs damage during
your stay. If no things go missing or break, you will be fully refunded the security deposit within three
working days. To avoid disputes, I will ask you to check the list of all facilities and equipment provided
with the house upon your arrival and report missing or damaged items immediately so I can replace or
fix them.
Cancellation: The deposit is non refundable if your booking is cancelled within 7 days of your arrival
date unless I am able to re-let the gîte. If the booking for the house or part of it is cancelled on less
than 24 hours notice or in case of a “no show”, the full amount will be due.
Refunds in case of cancellation
Cancellation of booking up to four weeks prior to arrival: full refund
Cancellation of booking four to two weeks prior to arrival: 75 per cent refund
Cancellation of booking two to one week prior to arrival: 50 per cent refund
Cancellation of booking seven to four days prior to arrival: 25 per cent refund
Cancellation of booking less than three days prior to arrival/no show: sorry, no refund.
Linen, towels, water, electricity and air-conditioning is included in the price. Cleaning is a mandatory
additional fee. Depending on the length of you stay, I will offer you special rates and discounts. Minimum stay is two nights.
Please note that my gîte is strictly no smoking inside all areas of the house and bedroom balconies. You
are welcome to smoke on the open parts of the terrace when using an ashtray. My plants are not at all
keen on receiving ashes… sorry for this comment caused by past experiences… A € 300 fee will be
charged if I should need to deep clean your bedroom for any reason.
Being more than 200 years old, and featuring staircases, beams and natural rock, my gîte is not suitable
for young children under the age of 10. Older children are very welcome! Please also notice that the
gîte is not barrier-free. I am happy to recommend suitable accommodation near-by to guests with special physical or other needs.
If you should have other specials needs or requirements, please make them known to me prior to your
arrival. I will be pleased to advise, assist and generally do all I can to make your stay enjoyable and
relaxed.

Low season: November – February: 420 € for two guests / 440 € for four guests
Mid-Season: March – May, September/October: 480 € for two guests / 520 € for four guests
High Season: June, July, August: 680 € for two guests / 740 € for four guests
Deposit: 300 Euro (to be refund if all is okay)
Final cleaning sum: 30 € (compulsory)

Das Kleingedruckte: meine allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen
Die folgenden Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen gelten für jeden Aufenthalt in meinem Ferienhaus in
St-Paul-de-Fenouillet.
Mein Tarif variiert während des Jahres und wird zum 1. April eines jeden Jahres neu festgelegt. Bei der
Buchung wird eine Anzahlung in Höhe von 33 Prozent der Aufenthaltskosten fällig. Die volle Hausmiete
sowie eine Kaution von 300 Euro sind zwei Monate vor Ankunft fällig. Die Kaution wird komplett erstattet, wenn nach Ihrer Abreise nichts fehlt, nichts beschädigt wurde, alles so in Ordnung ist, wie Sie es bei
Ihrer Ankunft vorgefunden haben. Die Abrechnung nach Ihrer Abreise erfolgt innerhalb von drei Arbeitstagen. Um Streitigkeiten zu vermeiden, möchte ich Sie bitte, etwaige Mängel, Schäden oder fehlende Dinge gleich bei Ankunft im Ferienhaus mir mitzuteilen.
Stornierung: Kommt doch etwas dazwischen und müssen Sie die Buchung stornieren, gelten folgende
Bedingungen:
Stornierung bis zu vier Wochen vorher: volle Erstattung
Stornierung vier bis zwei Wochen vorher: 75 Prozent Erstattung
Stornierung zwei bis zu einer Woche vorher: 50 Prozent Erstattung
Stornierung sieben bis vier Tage: 25 Prozent Erstattung
Stornierung ab weniger als drei Tage vor Ankunft bzw. Nichterscheinen: keinerlei Erstattung – danke für
Ihr Verständnis.
Der Mindestaufenthalt beträgt zwei Nächte.
Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Wasser, Strom, Klima (Heizen/Kühlen) und High-Speed-WLAN sind im Preis
inbegriffen.
Saubermachen: Freuen Sie sich – putzen müssen Sie am Ende der Ferien nicht. Nur den Müll in die Tonne tun, abschließen und den Schlüssel wieder in den Schlüsseltresor packen, das war’s. Denn unsere
Reinigungspauschale beträgt für alle pauschal 30 Euro.
Rauchen, nein danke: Bitte beachten Sie, dass in meinem Ferienhaus ein strenges Rauchverbot
herrscht – auch das Paffen am offenen Fenster ist untersagt. Es gibt Kohlenmonoxid- und Rauchgasmelder auf beiden Etagen. Auf den offenen Bereichen der Terrasse dürfen Sie gerne Pfeife oder Zigarette
genießen. Bitte nutzen Sie dann die Aschenbecher, die Sie in der Küche finden.
Achtung: Gerade im Sommer kommt es immer wieder zu Bränden, die sich schnell ausbreiten hier im
Süden. Aschen Sie am besten in ein Glas mit Wasser, und löschen Sie am Ende darin Ihre Zigarette vollständig aus. Danke!
Beim Rauchen im Haus wird die Kaution einbehalten, um anschließend neu zu streichen. Oder sonstige
Folgen des Rauches zu beseitigen.
Familien mit Kindern: Mein Haus ist mehr als 200 Jahre alt, und mit seinen Treppen und Balken nicht
geeignet für kleine Kinder unter dem Alter von 10 Jahren. Ältere Kinder sind herzlich willkommen! Bitte
beachten Sie auch, dass mein Ferienhaus nicht barrierefrei ist. Ich helfe Ihnen gerne nach einer geeigneten Unterkunft in der Nähe.
Sollten Sie Wünsche oder besondere Bedürfnisse haben, teilen Sie sie mir bitte vor Ihrer Ankunft mit.
Gerne arrangiere ich für Sie auch Besuchspakete – zum Beispiel Winzertouren. Mein Ziel: Ihren Aufenthalt so angenehm und entspannt, abwechslungsreich und erholsam wie möglich zu gestalten.
