One enters the property through a stone archway via a private gravelled courtyard large enough for 4 to 6
cars.
On the right is a separate and very cool games room with ping-pong table. To your left is the wonderful huge
old oak front door, the entrance to the property. One arrives immediately into a reception area, where one
sees fabulous exposed stonework, beams, old tiles and beautiful rugs in all directions.
From the reception area the curved staircase (13 stairs plus a handrail) goes to the upper level. Through an
archway to the right, down one shallow step,you enter the wonderfully atmospheric dining room, with antique
table and chandelier and with huge glass sliding doors onto an 'interior courtyard for eating outside.
Off the dining room and down 4 deep steps, you come into the modern kitchen, which is fully equipped and
has lots of stainless steel work surfaces.
Left from the reception area and through another archway takes you into the vast main lounge, with two
seating areas, one with the TV and the other with sofas in front of the fireplace. Beautiful French windows
open out onto the garden. The entire house has wonderful polished old tiles and antique rugs, fabulous
exposed stone walls and beams and is full of character with antiques and charming finishing touches collected
by the owners on their travels over the years.
Up the stairs, bend down for the low archway above, is a long corridor, bearing round to the right, with rooms
leading off it. Just behind you on the left is a small twin room, with small beds not suitable for adults, plus a
cot.

down one small step into the first double bedroom, with beautiful wooden antique bed and marble washstand
and overlooking the front courtyard.
Bearing right along the corridor there is a small independent wc on the right next to a large bathroom with
bath, hand-held shower overhead and basin. Opposite these is the blue twin room with two small antique sized
single beds (80cm). The next room on the left is another double room, there are windows on two walls in this
room overlooking both the courtyard and the garden (with a large tree outside to keep the room nice and cool
in the summer).
At the end of the corridor, a step up takes you into the final double room, with seagrass flooring and a beautiful
antique brass bedstead. This room has access to an ensuite shower room, with shower, basin and wc.
(another door from this bathroom gives access on to the corridor so that other guests can also use it). This last
room also has a door onto a charming covered terrace with a battlement-style wall and an antique school desk
and chair for writing your postcards home!

There are two other totally separate small properties on the Domaine grounds. The keyholder/guardian will be
living in one of them, leaving you totally independent within your property and it's grounds, but they are close
by if you need them.
