LET’S Grau surfed the FISE waves during the
wakesurf world cup - April 30th and May 1st
This weekend took place the FISE World Montpellier Opening at le Grau du Roi port
Camargue. The first time for the FISE opening to welcome wakesurf during the world
cup gold stop.
Despite of a bad weather 8 000 people came during 2 days to attend the show
welcoming the best riders in the world (8 different nationalities: France, Russia, UK,
Canada, Sweden, Holland, USA and Switzerland). The course was situated on the
seaport channel of Le Grau du Roi Port Camarague on a length of 400 meters the
riders had to do a way-back to do tricks to another, they could not do more than 3 falls.
Riders passed close to the public positioned on either side of the public which gave a
great atmosphere and proximity between riders and visitors.

The two Americans’ brothers Keenan and Noah FEGEL have both participated and
overflight the competition. They gave us their insight about the competition: they loved
the friendly atmosphere and enjoyed the spot and the waves created by the boat.

The next stop of this world cup will take place in Moscow June 25 and 26th.
FISE World Montpellier is already launched, few days before the big departure! Let’s
meet on Wednesday at the Lez river banks.
