Position: FIXED INCOME INSTITUTIONAL REPRESENTATIVE
Location: Montreal, QC
DESCRIPTION
This position is ideally suited for motivated individuals who wish to be exposed to multiple facets of the
fixed income market. You will be interacting with Canadian and foreign institutional investors in the
fixed income market by providing sales coverage, generating, recommending, and executing
transaction ideas as well as contributing daily market commentary. You will also be required to seek
out and develop new business opportunities. Previous fixed income experience is not necessary
although experience in the securities industry would be an asset.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS









Bilingual (French and English);
Graduate degree: MBA, MSc. (Finance, Economics or other) or CFA;
Knowledgeable in computer software and quantitative mathematics;
A strong knowledge and acute interest in financial markets;
Dynamic and energetic personality with excellent communication skills;
Strong entrepreneurial skills and previous sales experience;
Experience in selling financial instruments is an asset;
Strategic and analytical inclinations;
Willingness to travel.

RESPONSABILITÉS
Ce poste est idéal pour les individus motivés qui désirent être exposés aux multiples facettes du marché
des titres à revenu fixe. Travaillant au sein d’une équipe dynamique, vous couvrirez une sélection
importante d’investisseurs institutionnels canadiens et internationaux sur le marché obligataire. Vous
générerez, recommanderez et exécuterez des idées de transactions en plus d’apporter quotidiennement
vos commentaires sur le marché. Vous identifierez et développerez de nouvelles idées d’affaires. Une
expérience dans le secteur des titres à revenu fixe n’est pas nécessaire mais une expérience dans
l’industrie des valeurs mobilières serait un atout.

HABILETÉS & QUALITÉS REQUISES









Bilingue (français et anglais);
Diplôme de second cycle: MSc., (Économie, Finance ou autre) ou CFA;
Connaissances en informatique et en mathématiques financières;
Une bonne connaissance et un intérêt marqué pour les marchés financiers;
Personnalité dynamique et énergique avec d’excellentes habiletés de communication;
Sens de l’entrepreneurship très développé et expérience dans la vente;
Expérience dans la vente de services financiers serait un atout;
Esprit stratégique et analytique;
Disponible pour voyager.
