CFH - Core Fund – Hotel Property March 2015 6 Hotels – 1.422 Rooms Capital France Hotel CFH is a core hotel fund created in 2007, tailored for institutional investors, with the objective of generating attractive returns on a diversified portfolio of hotels located in Western, Northern and Central Europe (excluding UK). CFH has a lifespan of 7 years, extendable to 10 years. CFH today owns a portfolio valued at €265m. CFH investor returns will be mainly built out of stabilized cash-flows generated by the properties upon acquisition. These returns will be increased on sale of the assets by a minor component of capital gains from exit proceeds. Algonquin, general partner (“actionnaire commandité”) and manager of CFH, is an asset management and investment company focused on the hotel industry. Algonquin has a wide experience in the hotel industry as investor and operator, both through direct investments and as fund manager, providing CFH with hotel and asset management expertise. Cardif (Groupe BNP Paribas) and Sophia GE (Groupe GE Real Estate) are the two limited partners (“actionnaire commanditaires”) of CFH. CFH Corporate Governance As general partner and manager of CFH, Algonquin is in charge of the day-to-day management of the fund, the monitoring of hotel investments, relations with hotel chains, timely reporting to shareholders and optimization of exit strategies. Key decisions are taken by CFH Supervisory Board: new investments, asset disposals, management agreements, lease agreements, capex spending, etc. The Supervisory Board is currently composed of 2 members from Cardif, 2 members from GE Real Estate and Jean-Philippe Chomette, representing Algonquin.
