La conférence de lancement du projet HECTOR (HEritage and Cultural Tourism Open Resources for
innovative training schemes related to the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe) aura lieu le 16
octobre 2014 au Bureau de Bruxelles du Conseil de l'Europe, en conclusion de la première rencontre
des partenaires (après-midi du 15 octobre -matin du 16 octobre).
Pendant les deux jours de travail, les différentes étapes du projet et la méthodologie à suivre seront
présentées et discutées.
Le projet HECTOR est financé par le programme Erasmus+, Action Clé 2 Coopération pour
l'innovation et l'échange de bonnes pratiques.
Cette action vise à soutenir le développement, le partage et le transfert de bonnes pratiques et
d’approches innovantes dans les domaines de l’éducation, la formation, la jeunesse.
HECTOR est coordonné par l’Institut Européen des Itinéraires Culturels (Luxembourg) et réunit trois
universités – IREST, Université Paris 1 Sorbonne (France), LABPACT, Université de Barcelone
(Espagne), CAST, Université de Bologna (Italie) - et un centre de recherche - Fondazione Federico II
(Italie)
Les partenaires travailleront pendant deux ans sur l’identification et le développement de
programmes de formation supérieure dans le domaine de la gestion du patrimoine et du tourisme
culturel liés aux Itinéraires Culturels du Conseil de l’Europe.
Thème centrale, le rôle des Itinéraires Culturels du Conseil de l’Europe en tant que laboratoires
d’essai de nouvelles méthodologies intégrées d’éducation formelle et non-formelle.

The launch conference of HECTOR project (HEritage and Cultural Tourism Open Resources for
innovative training schemes related to the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe) will take place
Thursday 16 October 2014 at the Brussels office of the Council of Europe, as the conclusion of the
kick-off meeting (15 October afternoon - 16 October morning).
During two days of work, the stages of the project and the methodology will be presented and
discussed.
HECTOR project is funded by the programme Erasmus+, Key Action 2 Cooperation for innovation and
the exchange of good practices.
This action aims at supporting the development, sharing and transfer of best practices and innovative
approaches in the fields of education, training and youth.
HECTOR project, coordinated by the European Institute of Cultural Routes, involves three universities
- IREST, University Paris 1 Sorbonne (France), LABPACT, University of Barcelona (Spain), CAST,
University of Bologna (Italy) - and a research center - Fondazione Federico II (Italy).
The partners will work during two years on the identification and the development of educational
programmes in the field of heritage and cultural tourism management related to Cultural Routes of
the Council of Europe.
Central theme, the role of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe as laboratories for testing new
integrated methodologies of formal and non-formal training.
