Students: Interested in French, Italian or Francophone-African Cinema? Don’t miss the event of the year! The French and Italian Clubs have invited four dynamic film scholars to present their research to students and faculty as part of the Cincinnati Conference at the University of Cincinnati March 27-29, 2014. Students will have two opportunities to learn about French, Italian and African cinema: 1. Panel presentations moderated by Dr. Catherine White: “Trans-cultural Landscapes: Cinematic Selves and Borders in African, French and Italian Films” Thursday, March 27 from 2:30-4:00pm Old Chem 532 2. Roundtable Discussion and Screenings Thursday, March 27 from 4:00-5:30pm Old Chem 708 The four Presenters will offer clips from French and Italian films affording students an opportunity to discuss the material in an informal setting. Join us for informal conversation and snacks at a reception immediately following the roundtable.
