We are looking for Research Assistants that will be responsible for a variety of
tasks related to field trials:
- Assisting with the execution of field research trials (tillage, planting, spraying, harvest, etc);
- Maintain plots to ensure good data and to facilitate ratings and/or sales
support;
- Assisting with the collection of data and measurements as needed for each
trial.
The majority of work will be outdoors, working either independently or with
other members of the commercial team. Good overall physical health would
be considered an asset. Some of these functions will involve the handling and
use of pesticides, for which all necessary safety equipment will be provided by
the company.
Previous farm experience would be considered an asset, but are not required.
A valid driver’s license is mandatory. Salary commensurate with background

these themes and can testify of their experience with Emzingo as eye-opening. We have 20 fantastic students from wonderful universities such as Notre
Dame, Princeton, UVA and McGill (7 B.Com undergraduates) participating
this year. Next year we will be hosting this program in Peru, Brazil, and South
Africa and offering it during the semester in partnership with Universidad del
Pacifico for up to 16 credits in Peru. The Macdonald campus is known to foster
social innovation and entrepreneurship and it is my belief that our programs
would add tremendous value to the students experience, especially those
studying social entrepreneurship.
