Charles Wells : l’histoire
En 1876, Charles Wells a acheté sa première brasserie sur la
rive de la rivière Ouse à Bedford (au Nord de Londres).
Aujourd’hui, Charles Wells est au Royaume-Uni la plus grande
brasserie privée, avec une chaîne de pubs assez conséquente en
Angleterre et en France.
Cinq générations de la famille Wells ont travaillé à la Brasserie
depuis 1876 et il y a encore cinq membres de la famille
impliqués dans la compagnie aujourd’hui ; on ne peut acheter
cet héritage, et c’est pourquoi nous sommes si passionnés par
ce que nous faisons.
Nous avons brassé de la bière délicieuse et avons dirigé de
supers pubs pour près d’un siècle et demi. Nous avons travaillé
durement pour recréer l’ambiance de pubs anglais traditionnels dans chacun de nos sites français.
Nous sommes fiers de vous offrir une sélection unique de
bières et cidres importés directement de notre brasserie (n’hésitez pas à demander à un membre
du personnel un échantillon de nos pressions), et avec un large éventail d’évènements pour votre
amusement, tels que le Quiz du dimanche soir ou les matches de sport à regarder entre amis, vous
ne vous ennuierez jamais.

In 1876, Charles Wells bought his first brewery on the banks of the River Ouse in Bedford. But
today, Charles Wells is the UK’s largest private brewing company, with a substantial pub chain
across the UK and France

England in 1876. Five generations of the Wells family have worked at the brewery and there are
four members of the Wells family involved today; you can’t buy that kind of heritage, and it’s why
