PRECISIUM ACQUIRED BY ALLIANCE GROUP
International Automotive Aftermarket Group Expansion
The Alliance Group, a leader in the wholesale distribution of automotive and
truck parts in the UK and France, has announced that it has acquired a
majority stake in Precisium Group, the third largest automotive parts trading
group in France.
With this acquisition, the Alliance Group becomes the market leader in both the
UK and French markets operating under the network names of GROUPAUTO
UK, GROUPAUTO France, Partners, Gef’Auto and now, Precisium.
The members of these networks have a combined sell-out value of €2.3 billion
from 1,300 points of sale and the acquisition increases the consolidated
turnover of the Alliance Group as a whole to around €1.2 billion.
The president of Alliance Group, Jean-Jacques Lafont said: “We are delighted
to welcome Precisium into our Group. This acquisition consolidates our
position in our two existing country markets and provides a solid platform to
fulfill our ambition of becoming a European leader.
