INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Holding gate with locking bar (notched side up,
as shown) towards you and away from the child,
slide gate apart so the bumpers are touching the
sides of the opening. You may have to lift locking
pin to clear notches.

3. Slide the locking clip
over the end of the locking bar to lock the bars in
place.

4. To open the gate,
slide the locking clip off
the top bar and pull up
on the locking bar; the
memory lock feature
will hold the locking pin
in the slot for use again in
the same opening. If you put
the gate in a new opening, you will have to readjust the locking pin.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Wash with warm
water using mild liquid soap. Use a soft cloth to
avoid scratching the gate. Rinse with clear water
and wipe dry with a soft cloth. NOTE: Never use
solvents, chemicals, scouring powders or sharp
tools when cleaning the gate.

2. Lift the locking bar up and insert the locking pin
into the desired slot and

push down on locking
bar. This should put
pressure on the 4 bumpers
holding the gate in place.
If it is still loose in the
opening, move the locking pin to the next slot
until you get a good
solid fit in the opening.
Do not force the
locking bar down. This could
put so much pressure on the
bar that it could do damage to your opening, the
gate or both. (The locking bar will have a slight
bow. However, if the bow is large, ease off one
slot, making sure it still has a good solid hold in
the opening.)

INSTALL GATE AND USE ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS.
• NEVER USE WITH A CHILD ABLE TO CLIMB OVER OR
DISLODGE/OPEN THE GATE.
• THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT NECESSARILY PREVENT ALL
ACCIDENTS.
• NEVER LEAVE CHILD UNATTENDED.
• USE ONLY WITH THE LOCKING/LATCHING MECHANISM SECURELY ENGAGED ON SIDE AWAY FROM
CHILD.
• THIS PRODUCT INTENDED FOR USE WITH CHILDREN
FROM 6 MONTHS UP TO 24 MONTHS OF AGE.
• DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS GATE IN
TEMPERATURES LESS THAN 40 DEGREES F. OR
DAMAGE MAY RESULT.
• STOP USING GATE IF ANY PARTS ARE MISSING OR
BECOME DAMAGED.
• PERIODICALLY CHECK ALL FASTENERS TO BE SURE
THEY ARE TIGHT AND SECURE.
• TO PREVENT FALLS, NEVER USE AT TOP OF STAIRS.

1. Mientras sostiene la barrera con la barra de
enganche hacia usted y al otro lado del niño (con
las ranuras hacia arriba tal como se muestra),
agrande la barrera de manera que los topes
toquen los lados del portal. Puede tener que alzar
el pasador de enganche para que pase por
encima de las ranuras.

2. Alce la barra de
ENGANCHE
enganche e inserte el
pasador de enganche en la
ranura deseada, baje la
barra. Esto pondrá
presión en los cuatro
topes que sostienen la
barrera en su lugar. Si
todavía está suelta en el
portal, mueva el pasador
de enganche a la siguiente
ranura hasta llegar al ajuste
ideal en el portal.
No force la barra de enganche hacia abajo.
Esto podría ejercer tanta presión en la barra que
podría dañar el portal, la barrera, o ambos. (La
barra de enganche tendrá una ligera curva. Sin
embargo, si la curva es demasiada, devuélvase
una ranura, asegurándose de que todavía hay un
ajuste sólido contra el portal.)
3. Coloque el sujetador de
enganche sobre el
extremo de la barra de
enganche para fijar las
barras en su lugar.

4. Para abrir la barrera,
remueva el sujetador de
enganche de la barra
superior y tire de la barra
de enganche hacia arriba;
la característica “memory
lock” mantendrá el pasador
de enganche en la ranura apropiada para volverla a usar en el mismo portal. Si coloca
la barrera en otro portal, tendrá que volver a ajustar
el pasador de enganche.

1. Tenez la barrière, la barre d’arrêt vers vous
(encoches vers le haut) et du côté opposé à
l ’enfant, et faites coulisser ses deux parties pour
appuyer les butées contre les côtés de
l’ouverture. Soulevez au besoin la cheville de
blocage pour dégager les encoches.

2. Soulevez la barre
BLOCAGE
d’arrêt, insérez la cheville
de blocage dans l’encoche
désirée et rabattez la barre.
Ce mouvement doit
exercer une pression sur
les quatre butées afin
de maintenir la barrière.
Si celle-ci a trop de jeu
dans l’ouverture,
déplacez la cheville de
blocage d’un cran jusqu’à
ce que la barrière tienne
fermement dans l’ouverture.
Ne forcez pas la barre d’arrêt vers le bas.
Une pression excessive sur la barre risque
d’abîmer l’ouverture, la barrière ou les deux. (La
barre d’arrêt doit fléchir légèrement. Si elle fléchit
trop, reculez la cheville d’un cran en vous
assurant que la barrière tient fermement dans
l’ouverture.)
3. Glissez la bride de
blocage sur l’extrémité de
la barre d’arrêt pour la
verrouiller en place.

4. Pour ouvrir la
barrière, dégagez la
bride de blocage de la
barre supérieure et
soulevez la barre
d’arrêt. Le verrou à
mémoire permet à la
cheville de blocage de rester
dans la même encoche pour servir
dans la même ouverture. Si vous utilisez la barrière dans une autre ouverture, vous devez réajuster la cheville de blocage.
