MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF INLA
MESSAGE DU PRESIDENT DE L'AIDN

The Congress to be held in 2014 will be the 21 in a series of
INLA conferences organised since 1973. Since the creation of
the Association some 40 years ago, Nuclear Inter Jura has
become the leading international event for lawyers and other
specialists of nuclear law. While it will be the third time INLA
meets in South America, the last congress there was in 1993.
The decision by Argentina, Brazil and other countries in the
region to further develop nuclear activities provides this
Conference with an additional attraction. While the former
Congress in Manchester had focused on the impact on nuclear
law of the Fukushima accident, this question will remain
prominent on the agenda together with many other topical
issues.
Buenos Aires, once called the Paris of Latin America, is a lively
cosmopolitan city with a rich culture where on behalf of INLA I
would like to welcome as many of you as possible next year.

Le congrès qui se tiendra en 2014 sera la 21
édition d'une
série de conférences de l’AIDN organisées depuis 1973. Au
cours des quelque 40 années de vie de l'Association, ces
réunions se sont imposées comme le principal événement
international où se rencontrent juristes et autres praticiens du
droit nucléaire. Le congrès de Buenos Aires sera la troisième
manifestation de l'AIDN se tenant dans l'Amérique de Sud mais
le dernier Nuclear Inter Jura remonte déjà à 20 ans environ.
L'intention de l'Argentine, du Brésil et d'autres pays de la région
de poursuivre le développement des activités nucléaires
confère à cette réunion un atout supplémentaire. Alors que
l'impact de l'accident de Fukushima sur l'évolution du droit
nucléaire aura été le point marquant du précédent congrès tenu
à Manchester, cette importante question restera à l'ordre du
jour, parmi de nombreux autres points d'actualité.

NUCLEAR INTER JURA 2014
The next INLA Congress will take place in Buenos Aires from
Monday 20 to Thursday 23 October 2014, followed by a
technical visit organized on Friday 24 October.
Le prochain congrès de l'AIDN se déroulera à Buenos Aires du
lundi 20 au jeudi 23 octobre 2014; une visite technique sera
organisée le vendredi 24 octobre.

The purpose of the International Nuclear Law Association, which was
created in 1972, is to promote the study of legal issues associated with
the peaceful uses of nuclear energy and to encourage the exchange of
information in this field.
Every two years, it organises a Congress called “Nuclear Inter Jura” in
which nuclear lawyers worldwide participate.
L'Association internationale du droit nucléaire qui a été créée en 1972,
s'est fixé pour but d'encourager l'étude des aspects juridiques de
l'utilisation pacifique de l'énergie nucléaire, ainsi que de favoriser les
échanges d'information dans ce domaine.
Tous les deux ans, elle tient un congrès sous le nom de Nuclear Inter
Jura, auquel est conviée la communauté des juristes nucléaires du
monde entier.
INLA membership numbers approximately 600 persons.

CALL FOR PAPERS - APPEL AUX CONTRIBUTIONS
Authors are invited to submit an abstract of their proposed paper before
15 January 2014. Abstracts should be sent by e-mail to the INLA
Secretariat : [email protected]. The preferred format is MS Word.
The abstract should include :
1) The title of the proposed paper.
2) The full name(s) of the author(s), title, professional affiliation, email address(es); presenting authors should be identified.
3) One page maximum summarising the content of the proposed
paper.
Authors will be informed of the decision regarding acceptance of their
papers by 30 April 2014 at the latest.
Finalised papers shall need to be sent to the above address by 15 August
2014.
Les auteurs sont invités à soumettre leurs propositions de rapports
avant le 15 janvier 2014. Celles-ci seront envoyées par courrier
électronique au Secrétariat de l'AIDN, à l'adresse suivante :

Il conviendra de préciser:
1) Le titre du rapport.
2) Les noms complets, titres et qualités du/des auteur(s), et
adresse(s) e-mail.
3) Un résumé d'une page au maximum du contenu du rapport
proposé.

avant le 30 avril 2014.

PROCEEDINGS - ACTES
At the start of the Congress all participants will receive a set
of papers available.
The proceedings of the Congress will be given to a legal
publisher and will be sent to all participants.
Au début du Congrès tous les participants recevront un jeu
des rapports disponibles.
Les actes du Congrès seront confiés à une maison d'édition
juridique et envoyés à tous les participants.
LANGUAGE - LANGUES
The languages used during the Congress will be English and
Spanish, with simultaneous translation.
Les langues utilisées au cours du Congrès seront l'anglais et
l’espagnol, avec traduction simultanée.
HOTEL RESERVATION - RESERVATION D'HOTELS
A number of rooms in various hotels in Buenos Aires will be
booked at preferential rates. Detailed information will be
provided in the second announcement.
Un nombre suffisant de chambres sera réservé dans divers
hôtels de Buenos Aires, à des tarifs préférentiels. Des
informations détaillées à ce sujet seront communiquées dans
