Cutting
The cutting is made by a vertical and oblique thread activated by one motorcycle - reducer
brake which starts and stops in every cutting. The started of the engine is realized by a contact
commanded by the chain beforehand of the mobile wagon and the stop by the slow tree of the
reducer.
The thread moves at first from left to right, then from right to left. The slope of the thread allows
to reduce the deformations of the walls of the product during the cutting.
A modification of some seconds allows to make cuttings always in the same sense.
Adjustable side rollers by steering wheels prevent any movement of the product during the
cutting.
Carriage moving
Les guidages sont réalisés au moyen de douilles à billes de grande précision.
The training of the wagon is obtained by a chain making a tour by cut product. This chain is
pulled by an engine with resolver assuring a very big precision of cutting. An incrémental
converter analyzes permanently the speed of exit of clay and determines the speed of rotation
of the engine.
The guides are realized by means of cartridges with balls of big precision.
Synchronisation
The table motion is synchronised with the clay cake advance, to give perfectly square cuts.

With 1 wire : 3 000 cuts / hour
Cutt-off length
The cutting length are determined by a pinion ratio :
All the cutting lengths can be obtained to within 1 millimetre.
Cutting length precision : 2 millimetres.
Cutting capacity
Breadth : 400 – 700 millimetres or more depending on the cutter size.
Height : 450 - 600 millimetres with standard cutters
Minimum length : 40 millimetres
Maximum length : 600 millimetres with standard cutters (more upon request).
Maintenance
The ROCHET CUTTER does not require maintenance.
Special device
Sur demande, possibilité d’équiper le coupeur FV de dispositifs pour :
• Automatic wire unwinding drum : no need to change the wire, no need to stop the
moulder. A wire of smaller diameter can be used for even better cuttings.
• Cutting counter.
• Counter to obtain precut halves at a determined percentage.
• Long cutting : cutting up to 1800 mm.
• Recutting of roman tile lateral spigots.
