President Nazarbayev decided,
seven years ago, to build a new
capital, Astana, in the middle of
the Kazakh plains. The city
emerged in a while as a «
megalopolis » where empty
sky-scrapers set in a line and
the dream comes true, the
dream of a ghost and futurist
city where "Dad", as he likes to
be called, can show every
symbol of his almighty willing.

A former communist apparatchik, Nursultan Nazarbayev could manage
to keep the power since 1991 independance and has still the greatest
dreams for his country ? and for himself. He was reelected 10 monthes
ago with 91% of the votes for a new presidential term of office of 7

emerging power leading all former soviet republics with the will of being
the heart of Eurasia.
