Tokens
Acheter un compteur de nombre de personne pour chaque manège. Sara, Rita and Kirsten L. are
looking into that.
Commander un plus grand nombre de tokens afin de pouvoir réaliser le comptage plus facilement.
Possibility to have 2 tokens of different value : 1chf and 5 chf ==> might complicate things for no
added value, still to be decided.
Passeport cards instead of token was suggested.
Have a big poster with the ride’s prices list by each token booths for people to know in advance
how many token to get.

6. Staffing
Report from Terry. Need info from Rides and Games re number of volunteers needed, to be discussed
with Sara and Kirsten A.
1) increase length of games shifts for the games, from 1h to 1h30 will improve ability to
cover all shifts
2) explore possibility of having middle schoolers cover 2 of games in entirety-will provide a
level of responsibility and increase appeal to older middle schoolers who report being
bored and not being allowed to assist secondary students on rides
3) discussed having a CAS chair assigned to Games to assist Games co chairs during the
day and during games clean-up and returning supplies, etc.
4) discussed continued desire to track number of patrons per ride to assess profitability.
The method of doing this is to be determined by Rides but to be incorporated into the
Staffing jobs descriptions
5) desire to increase participation of secondary school parents and secondary students not
participating via CAS. Target year 9 - 10 -11, incentive : free drink
7. Games
Involvement of MS kids in the games, might adopt 1 or 2 games next to each other supervised by a
CAS student.

8. Logo competition
T-Shirt : eco-label (Rapanui 8.5 euro - fair wear 100% organic, or Equinox 7.47 euro based in swiss).
Rita is investigating a local option to be fair wear and 100% organic. T-shirt should be signed by the
artist.
Other merchandises : caps, blackberry cover, bags, mugs, water bottle...
Launch of the Logo competition to be advertise by Sandrine.

LOGO COMPETITION
Get your imagination going: the most appealing design for the Kermesse 2012 logo will be
printed on the famous Kermesse t-shirts, posters, stationary and other merchandise.
The competition is open to all LGB students.
Taillez vos crayons: le plus intéressant dessin pour le logo de la Kermesse 2012 sera
imprimé sur un t-shirt, des posters et autres types d’objets.
La compétition est ouverte à tous les étudiants de LGB.
Requirements to which the Kermesse logo must conform. Les règles à respecter.

The winner will be announced Monday 27 February 2012. He/she will receive a t-shirt, a
professionally printed poster of his/her design and 10 Kermesse tokens to be spent during
the Kermesse day the 12 May 2012.
Le gagnant sera proclamé lundi 27 Fevrier 2012. Il/elle recevra un t-shirt, un poster de
son dessin et 10 jetons à dépenser le jour de la Kermesse le 12 Mai prochain.

9. New ideas
1.
Compétitives Sports Implication : Foot ball, Basket ball, jonglage
- mini tournois,
- concours d’adresse,
- démonstration.
Ces exercices se feront en rotation à proximité du terrain de football de l’école primaire, soit sur la
surface bleu nouvellement rénovée, soit sur la macadam noir.
Il faut pouvoir apporter des paniers sur roulette à cette endroit. Mr Macazaga prend contact avec
l’association de Basket de Genève pour étudier la faisabilité de leur emprunter 2 paniers. Sinon les
paniers de netball seront utilisés.
L’ensemble de ces sports seront à proximité les uns des autres et nous fournirons une tente, quelques
tables et chaises afin de pourvoir s’occuper des inscriptions pour les mini tournois, présenter les
activités sportives de l’école et bien sure les résultats des équipes durant l’année, les trophées et
les coupes.
Chaque participant aux mini tournois ou au concours d’adresse devra participer à hauteur d’1 token.
Les équipes de joueurs faisant les démonstration ne seront pas sollicités.
Il faudrait prévoir un panneau d’affichage sur place pour inscrire les résultats des mini tournois.
Prévoir également une communication importante sur ces événements (écran de TV dans les 3 écoles,
website, envoi de lettres par l’intermédiaire des parents de classe).
2. Prévoir des activités associant parents et enfants
Activités : course de l’oeuf dans la cuillère, tir à la corde, relais, lancé de ballon à eau, etc...
Deux séances de 1 heure dans la journée seront programmées (11h-12h and 14h-15h).
Il faudra prévoir une communication importante, pour ces activités nouvelles (écran de TV dans les 3
écoles, website, envoi de lettres par l’intermédiaire des parents de classe). Peut être envisager une préinscription afin de faciliter les choses le jour même à développer avec Mr Howsam.
