Made in Ratio Cowrie Chair
Founded last year by Australian designer Brodie Neill, the London-based Made in Ratio studio has already gained a reputation for its boundary-pushing creations. Neill’s designs often reference
nature, like the seashell-inspired Cowrie Chair. Made from one piece of moulded plywood with a lacquered ash finish, its sculptural form artfully melds the handmade with the digital.
Fondée l’an dernier par le designer australien Brodie Neill, la société londonienne Made in Ratio s’est déjà forgé une réputation avec ses créations originales. Les créations de Neill sont
souvent inspirées par la nature comme cette chaise-cauri. Pour obtenir cette forme en contreplaqué formé et laqué, il a associé le fait main et le numérique.
